Having patched up as best they could, the team cautiously makes their way further down the hall.

The presence of strange vein-like biomass becomes more apparent as you go.
Before coming around the corner, Charis holds up a fist.

Perception 20 from position, 15 within the corridor:

"Brethren, the time is near!
For many years we've searched, gathered, and worked towards this day.
This world is wretched, its prime long since due."

(Agreeing muttering)

"How much wrong has fate wrought you all? Have your nearest not fallen to disease, or your partner been killed by crime?
Law is but a facade, chaos is brewing, and only chaos will clear the slate that is this world."

(Agreeing mutters)

"Tonight, we will call for the gatekeeper to come.
His coming will usher in chaos, wiping clean the corrupt systems and kingdoms. Behold! The Eye of Eons, the instrument to this end!"

Charis peers around the corner, and sees a gathering of about 22 cultists, and a man in red hooded robe standing at the end, holding up an orb shaped object, the size of a football, which he places on a pedestal.

Perception same:

"Hail him, hail Yog-Sothoth!"

(Cultist chanting): "Yog-sothoth, Yog-sothoth."

"FGgllbgh nthble Yog-sothoth Ftaghn!"

"FGgllbgh nthble Yog-sothoth Ftaghn!"

Yog-sothoth. Finally we have a name. And a goal.

Charis takes out a sheet of paper and draws, quickly.

22 cultists.
Orb on pedestal-important!
Calling the Gatekeeper RIGHT NOW

She readies her whip.

Ed nods, draws his sword and lowers his voice to a whisper.

"So, what's the plan? I can't do much more than chop cultists. And I'd love to drive my blade into that leader. Maybe Grog and I can distract 'em while you get rid of that orb."

He looks at his teammates. "Unless you guys have a better plan."

Kn. Religion 25, Yog-Sothoth:

Yog-Sothoth is an all powerful cosmic entity, said to reside in the deep voids of space.

It is also said that, should it ever come to Golarion, not even the combined power of all the gods can stop it.

Such an event would would cause chaos and calamity beyond scope.

"Unfortunately, as you know, strangers have intruded our base."

Grog wasn't a tactician, his plan would involve running up to something and smashing it till it stopped moving. Grog's hammer, rage: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33 Dmg, rage: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (1, 3) + 11 = 15

And their smiting is depleted.

[Insert malicious laughter]

Seeing his followers standing, but bloodied, the leader speaks in a dreadful tongue.
"...i call upon thee, Zhulaboth, servant of Yog-Sothoth."

I'm not really sure if this is what you meant GM, but lets see how this works out. Note the leader should be sickened for at least 5 rounds.
The clarity provided by the shot of oldlaw whisky was exceedingly short lived, Grog's head suddenly felt stuffed with wool and he lurched drunkenly, as he was pummeled by the cultists. Of course he took another swig and lashed out with his gauntlets, desperately trying to protect his drink!

Zhulaboth is near him, however, and makes one quick jab at Renee.

-21 dmg.
The cultist gang is bloodied and standing slightly bent.

After her bold statement, Carlaya lets her arrows fly.
The 1st shatters upon hitting a hard spot on one of the cultists' equipment, but the ensuing splinters end up in many a soft spot, like eardrums, eyes and throats.. causing the cultists to pass out from the injuries.

The leader scoffs.
"They were faithful, and you are heretics. You have not won yet."

"Great one! Let the emptiness of the void descend upon the heretics!"

SPellcraft 18:

Deeper darkness.

The entire room goes pitch black, like a starless sky, not even the special vision of Grog and Renee can pierce it.
The room is shrouded in magical darkness, darkvision has become ineffective here.

The leader then moves west.

The leader looks at Renee, and the spectral form of Zhulaboth stabs at Renee.

BTW, on Renee's previous post I mentioned he steps away from the tentacled thing, and I at least thought I moved the token (although the squares are difficult to see there). So I meant to be 5 ft away from Zhulaboth when he shot to avoid the AoO.

"Keep your shoddy god, monsieur. Light of Desna will win this day!"

Knowing the monster called Zhulaboth lurks somewhere nearby, Renee knows he must move away for safer casting of his spell. Risking another stab from the dagger, the half-orc takes a few faltering steps into the darkness. Hoping to be out of the tentacle's reach, he prays for his god to shower the area with divine light.

As Renee moves from the assailant, the creature makes a jab at Renee.
AoO: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
The dagger finds a soft spot in his flank, and he grits his teeth as the weapon exits the wound.

Desna answers his prayer. While his bow would normally shine very bright, the two spells seem to armwrestle to a stalemate.
While it is still dark for part of the team, Grog and Renee can make out the leader's shape again.

I've put it into discussion.
