The asuras continue their assault. The one near Jaydavhu and Haska turns on the oread, hoping to inject him too. ATK: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12, but misses the furious warrior. AoOs from both

To the east the asura dashes towards Amun-Heth ATK: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 for DMG: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0 and a FORT save. This draws AoOs from Amun-Heth, Traceni, and Barl. The attack and damage is contingent on it surviving.

Jeydavhu swings, but this time his swing comes up short a bit, for the target is very small.

He opens by dropping his left elbow towards the creature's neck: ATK: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 for DMG: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Then he followings through, using the ricochet to wind up a cross-hand sword hand strike down to the same target. ATK: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 for DMG: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

The tiny asura's neck snaps! It slumps to the ground, motionless.

Baied knows that she can't help too much in a fight.

But what she can do is to streighten her allies. Moving so she is between Haska and Amun-Het, she asks Abadar to lend his protection to the group

Can't move on the map, sorry. Use my Deflection Aura (Su): Once each day, you can emit a 20-foot aura for a number of rounds equal to your cleric level. Allies within the aura gain a +2 deflection bonus to AC and combat maneuver defense.

Jaydavhu's sword, already bloodied, finally does the grim deed of killing the second evil monster.

The danger is still at hand though, as both Haska and Amun-Heth are suffering from poison.

just totaling, i think i take 2 wisdom damage for rounds 1 and 2. Now i take 2 dex for round 3. So 2 and 2. Have i got it correct?

Haska allows Baied to examine and clean the wound. He will then join in searching the room.

That was a typo on my part ALL ability damage was WIS. Sorry about that.

Baied and Haska perform some triage while Jaydavhu celebrates. Barl begins to look around, which includes the lone part of the chamber you've yet to see.

In the final chamber you find the most interesting of archaeological finds. A large statue of a monkey-faced man sits on a pedestal at the north end of this small shrine. The statue’s arms and legs are missing, and deep scratches have been gouged into its face. Pieces of broken stone, rotting plant matter, and other assorted rubbish lie in heaps on the floor of this room. The smell of rot is particularly strong here.

The statue is wearing items that glow under magical detection (a belt). Within a small cabinet you find a trio of books written in Vudrani

Traceni enters the chamber and looks around. Puzzled, she says, "Are you sure? Perhaps I should trade eyes with you. Very well, then."

She looks at the statue and belt with a start. "Oh!" Carefully approaching, she adds, "That's what you're talking about. No, I don't know why it's been desecrated, either. Poor monkey."

Casting detect magic and attempting to identify the belt.

The belt is a simple matter, it's a Monkey Belt

Barl can parse out enough to determine that the books are holy texts, sacred to the god Ragdya, venerated by vanaras and rural Vudrani in the region of Sikari.

The Baron, awaiting your return outside seems genuinely relieved to see you alive. caught in the moment, he speaks frankly,"Now that I've avenged the friends lost on my last expedition, I shall retire from hunting to write my memoirs...."

You make your way back to the hunting group, and Count Falroun is also happy with your return. It appears you've accomplished more than simply exploring a shrine, your Fame within the Society will surely grow.

The strangest part through is the fauna on your way back. Every step of the way, you catch a monkey out of the corner or your eye. It's almost as if they're watching over you. They seem protective, not menacing, and you've got a good feeling about what you've done.

It seems you've made friends of both the Baron and the Count and in appreciation a letter comes addressed to you. In return for all oyu've done, the Government of Alkenstar will let you test your own versions of some of the equipment used by the Baron on the hunt!

Well done Pathfinders! Your fame grows! This concludes the Segang Expedition. Please let me know if anyone is going slow track. I'll piece together Chronicles later today.
