Welcome to my Play-by-Post!
Here's the ctrl+P for all my games:

1. I've been running games since the late 1980s, I've seen a lot of editions. I started playing PFS with Slot 1 Season 0 at Gen Con. I'm solid with the PFRPG rules, but everyone makes mistakes. I'll try to be as fair as possible.
2. I'm a Venture-Lieutenant for Southern NH. If you're ever in the area, or you need help finding games/conventions there. PM me.
3. I post with a high rate of frequency. That being said, if you guys can post 2-3 times per day, awesome. If it's only 1/day I understand. No worries. Real Life Comes First (tm).
4. Feel free to preemptively roll Perception, Disable Device, etc. It makes the game run more efficiently. I ask only that you make sure minis are placed in their actual position in case your choices have consequences (good or bad.)

Some expectations in my games:

  • Try to post at least once daily. Remember though, real life comes first. If you're going to be gone for 24+ hours, try to give a heads up before you go.
  • Saving Throws first. If you have a saving throw to make, have it be the first dice of the post.
  • Animal companions, eidolons, phantoms, etc. For PbP I have them go on the same initiative as their PC. In your post take care of the PC, then the companion.
  • Know your obscure rules. Most people know how the basics work, but if you have a character who uses something less than common, know how it works (Handle Animal, Sunder, Grapple, etc.)

    Notes: Irizati spends a lot of his adventuring time in animal form. Typically doing a few buffs then handing off his gear before Shape Shifting into a Deinonychus or Dire Tiger. So he usually has low=light vision and scent.

    It does make communication difficult but that is part of the fun.

    I hadn't realized we would be visiting Katheer during this. That will complete my 7th goal on my season 6 faction card.
    Completing the 7th goal has 2 effects.

    Notes: The only surprising thing Theodore has is the "Beneficent Touch" Silver Crusade trait. The only reason I mention it is because it's badly named in that it doesn't need to be a touch spell or even a spell at all... it can work to reroll 1's for channeling.

    Other than that, Theodore is a pretty standard healer cleric.

    I don't have my chronicles fully scanned it online yet, but won't have access to a scanner until Monday evening. His character sheet is correct though so he's ready to roll.

    Buying some diamond dust (1,000 gp) before starting, but that'll be on my inventory tracking sheet once I upload everything on Monday evening.

    Just so you know, Theodore got transferred to a Classic Character because a bunch of stuff got reported as Classic scenarios. I asked to get it changed before and basically the person who could change it at Paizo told me that those scenarios need to be changed. Well, I tried to get those reporters to change it, but that's apparently not happening, so I can give an alternate character number (43439-57) to apply it to but I'd still like the chronicle sheet to say 43439-52. Some GMs care about this more than others which is why I'm bringing it up now.

    The handout shows Katheer and Koor. I guess Katheer could be there for reference. In which case I fill a different goal, Only have 30 for day job, and the +3 didn't help anyone anyway.

    Sure. Though if it's anything more complex then picking directions then Doubtful will be making most of the choices. Unless it is important enough for Theodore to cast Speak With Animals.

    Nah, definitely better for you to carry it. The horse won't really be following us closely; it was free from some boon and is just there so that I'm not encumbered by the alchemist's kit.

    As a Dire Tiger Irizati's initiative bonus drops to +6 because of the -2 to dex. And his AC drops by 10.

    If we reach a dungeon type area Irizati will probably switch over to Deinonychus. One large creature in the party is probably 1 too many.

    You could put it on anyway. Or we can assume Thaeos took a few moments to ID it with his +17 spellcraft.

    Btw recent rules changes allow pregens to both count as the faction of the character they are applying the pregen to for the purpose of boons but even fill out faction goals if the pregen can.

    Say, how did someone make all the tokens on the map Round?
    Is that something you can do inside Google Slides, or did you have to do that externally and reimport them?

    Click on the image to be cropped, then go to the toolbar and look for the drop down menu that will say "mask image" when you hover over it. It should be fourth from the right. From there, you can crop the image into a bunch of different shapes.

    I typically default to empowering the characters within the limits of the rules. Thaeos would know how the spell functions, so describe what you're specifically looking to do and I'll answer before casting it.

    I'm not really sure. Looking for an undine or marid would be the obvious choice, but that is probably a "type". But then I'm not sure what a "kind" would be.

    Type would be Outsider, and both Marids and Undines are Outsiders.

    "Kind" isn't defined in Pathfinder, but I'd imagine it would be no different than in the Biblical sense.

    So if you were looking for a Tiger, for example, "Type" would be Animal, and "Kind" would be something like "Large predatory felines".

    Or, keeping it more of a defined range, maybe Kind could be subtype ("Native" for Undine, "Water" for Marid).
