    Can't. That was Bullwhip's first encounter and he only started with 150 gp before buying stuff beyond underwear. I cold have refunded all of his equipment for full price as he is still in that nebulous do-I-really-wanna-be-a-dwarf-fighter bit of his PFS career but then it's all underwear and unskilled fisticuffs from there. He has no prestige, and to be honest probably never even knew he had the disease (its incubation period is measured in weeks to months). He can cure it between sessions once he has the dough to spend. Otherwise he has to walk it off (consecutive weekly DC 20 Fort saves).

    You do get all the money and prestige at the end, so you can get it cleared that way. I wish it wasn't the case, but PFS is pretty strict. The good news is, you have the Prestige for it (and the gold.)

    Thanks for the gracious offer, but I'm not seeing anything that says this is career ending (though I find some of the PFS rules to be as easily found and parsed as the Decemvirate's identities). Leprosy causes 1d2 CHA damage per week, but it's 'damage' not 'drain' so it should be recoverable with rest regardless. DM S will however have an extra line of paperwork to fill out for 'ongoing conditions.'

    Again, I feel bad, but diseases officially count as "must be cleared" as a character with 0 CHA is unplayable. It's not that expensive. (A curse, for example is much more expensive to fix and does leave a character playable so I'd need to mark it on the sheet.)

    Um, sorry to be the one to break it to you, Bullwhip, but if disease is not cleared by end of scenario, the character is reported as dead. (PFS RPG Guide, pp. 23–24)

    However, as you pointed out, this one can be curable on its own. One just needs to do lots of rolls with the GM (if the GM is willing and has time). (Source thread.) This all technically occurs in the adventure epilogue, but "before the adventure is over" (meaning before players and GM part ways).

    This GM is certainly willing to put in the time! Unfortunately we're looking at DC 20 and they must be 2 consecutive saves.

    If it helps (and w/ DM's permission), Thiera stays nearby the diseased Bullwhip, and takes advantage of unlimited castings of resistance. ... So, +1 to the save....

    I have no problem with that, but if we're going with that route, if anyone has a Heal skill better than Bullwhip's Fort save...

    BTW, PLEASE bot me when needed to keep the story going. I work 12-14 hour days in a location with no cellphones and only limited unclassified internet. Hun is a grifter and a two weapon fighter... He always will try and flank and try for sneak attacks, uses daggers for ranged attacks and is very perceptive, mechanical, diplomatic and has a flair for the BS!

    @Piper: GM S kindly reminded me that we could scribe spells from each other's books. (I kept thinking of you as a sorcerer for some reason, and hadn't even considered the possibility.)

    If you are amenable, I'd like to scribe Jump, and Ray of Enfeeblement. (The latter is from a prohibited school for me, as I understand, I still scribe it at the same DC. Spellcraft, take 10 is sufficient
