Thiera whips around trying to instill uncontrollable hideous laughter.... Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 and the leader begins squawking with gut shaking force! Military Saddle: 1d100 ⇒ 14 He falls from the saddle!!! Piper quickly steps up to further tip the scales Tengu: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 and Axebeak: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Talk about overwhelming the enemy! This is going to be VERY quick. Awesome!

This foe he doesn't waste words on though.

Don't forget the prone bonus to hit! He's also already stunned.

Oggil unceremoniously stomps on the general!

Hun runs up and stabs the tengu solidly in the ribs. The party quickly follows. The lone bandit flees into the wilderness, no doubt to spread word that the locals at Nesting Swallow should not be messed with.

The "general" doesn't have a chance.

Victory does not come free, of course; of the 50 men and women who aided in the fight, 13 perish. These honored fallen are buried in the hills overlooking the home they gave their lives for; in spite of this, Nesting Swallow celebrates its victory. For the first time in years, the village looks forward to living free of banditry.

Je Tsun honors her bargain with you, isolating herself in her home with the Braid of a Hundred Masters for a day and a night. When she emerges with a smile, the braid is restored to its ancient potency. Even now, activated, the use of the relic is difficult to discern, but Pathfinders in the Lantern Lodge in Goka are undoubtedly eager to begin their work examining the powerful item....

Well done Pathfinders! The ending was as decisive a victory as I've seen! Chronicles will go out soon, and will include a link to the Sewer Dragons of Absalom.

Scarab Sages

Dwarven monk-8; HP 76/76; Re-roll@+3(+6 FJC) 1/1; Stunning Fist 8/8 (DC18); Ki 8/8; Wand CLW 38/50; AC 20(24 w/mage armor; Fort +10(+12 vs poison); Ref +10(evasion); Will +12;Extra +2 vs spells, +4 vs enchantments; Init +4; Perc +16

Oggil bows deeply to Je Tsun.

"As the sun sets on the life of those who died, I am sad."

He points to her belly "But in the circle I see the sun rising on your child, and am glad. This is the way of life. I am pleased that your people may now enjoy some years of prosperity."

It seems that the people of Nesting Swallow get Oggil. Especially Je Tsun.

Dark Archive

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Kudos to Oggil for his continued metaphors, btw. Suitably impressed.

Grand Lodge

Male Human (CORE) Rogue- 4 | AC-18; T-14; FF18 | HP 44/44 | F +5 R +9 W +3 | CMB=3 CMD=18 BAB +3| Init +8 | Perc +6, +8 vs Traps | (+1 bonus on Reflex saves made to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made by traps)

Hun-isim (higher is more inappropriate): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

Hun bids the villagers farewell, however in an attempt to part ways, he offends several of the women without even trying.

Great time as always!
