Auri's swings start hacking large chunks of otherworldly flesh from the beast. It seems to falter, and when Amiri's blade strikes moments after the best indeed tumbles.

The monolith wastes no time and yanks it back into the prison. For the moment the creature has no strength to fight!

The sense of urgency, however, does not abate. Dupine makes it around the corner with the disc.

Out of initiative, for now. You can tell me the plan with the discs and then execute.

"Agreed. That bright disc should go in the third slot, and the disc that exudes darkness should go in the second slot."

She looks over the remaining discs. "Is there a noticeable brightness from them? Maybe magical? I think the next brightest should go in the first slot, leaving the last slot for the remaining disc."

OK, that helps!

Dupine hands the light disk to Auri and says "Put this in the 1st slot, for the Moon."

Then he picks up the Darkness disk and hands it to Kyra and says "Put this one in the next slot for the Void."

Once they are done, he then hands Auri the Sunlight disk and says "Third slot... Sun."

And finally hands Kyra the Faerie Fire one and says "This should be the last one, for the Stars."

As each disc is placed, it clicks into place.

In a flash the panels fuse into a single piece that seem sturdier than any modern construction, even dwarven. At the same time, a wave of magical energy washes through Starwatcher Tor, pushing the xacarba's body back into its prison along with the Azlanti monolith. The doors immediately repair themselves and reseal, allowing only a momentary glimpse of the Azlanti monolith raising its fists to stand over the xacarba.

You catch your breath, and remember that there is a team of chamred Pathfinders near by. You hasten to Juliet and her team.

It's a welcomed sight. The team are all shakes their heads and rubbing their eyes as if awakening from a deep, dream filled, slumber.

Juliet Dias thanks the you profusely for coming to her team’s rescue. You give her the summary of events, for which she is equal parts horrified and fascinated. She shares some of her Azlanti research notes with you, increasing your understanding of the Azlanti people.

With the xacarba imprisoned, the intelligent flail Slitherbane goes mostly dormant, but who knows what may become of it through use over time...

Eventually you return to Happ and his team who stays put to await Juliet's arrival. When you return to the Grand Lodge, there is much to discuss, and your fame grows as account of your exploits beyond Azlant Ridge spread.

Congratulations! I am truly sad that I've got to wrap up the Break-Fast Club. Hopefully people return, and I gain some bandwidth. I'll contact people when that happens. As a fitting end, this is my 225th table reported, and this is also my 20,000th post on paizo.com!
