@Roakar: The trap is magical, but the debris is not. Since it's the debris that damages, let's say it's not.

Hugo's spell grabs hold of the winds surrounding the dragon and siphons them away into nothing! The cloud quickly fills in the vacuum. FORT: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (19) + 20 = 39 but the dragon doesn't seem to be affected by it.

Again Roakar swings with legendary fury, and again he only manages to connect once. Above his head the ceiling drops dust and plaster like snow.

Ignatious brings forth heavy back up to the fight. The massive dinosaur moves in for the bite (difficult terrain prevents charging and it's huge, therefore too big to swallow whole). Its jaws clamp down hard on the dragon. Loralis fights on, seemingly not grievously injured... for now. Shockingly, the T-rex manages to hold on!

For my understanding (and Hugo may cast this in the future), since the gargantuan t-rex is one-size larger than the huge dragon, is there something else that keeps it from swallowing the smaller dragon?
Also, should it at least pull it adjacent per standard grapple?

T-Rex is always a good decision. Now for what Rúmil should do, I don't know... Roakar wants me to use my bow but Loaralis is so hard to hit and Rúmil is not able to do a whole lot of damage with his arrows... but then again none of his magic seems potent enough for a dragon.

Rúmil decides to return to his trusty bow. Staying far back from the dragon, he raises his bow and takes aim, electing not to draw back to full strength in favor or accuracy (ie no deadly aim for now so maybe I'll hit).

The massive melee doesn't stop Rumil from shooting, and a barrage of arrows erupts from his bow. None of the arrows, however, find a weak spot. They all clatter to the ground.

Her attention turns to the dinosaur, and she holds nothing back. She twists and turns to use her horrifyingly deadly natural weapons on the dinosaur:

Bite: 1d20 + 34 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 34 - 2 = 44 DMG if hit: 2d8 + 13 ⇒ (1, 4) + 13 = 18
Bite Alacrity: 1d20 + 34 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 34 - 2 = 36 DMG if hit: 2d8 + 13 ⇒ (8, 3) + 13 = 24

Tail Slap: 1d20 + 33 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 33 - 2 = 43 DMG if hit: 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (4, 2) + 13 = 19

...And if that wasn't enough, a mental command from the dragon detonates the final pillar.

The ceiling collapses! Roakar, the T-Rex, and Loralis take 8d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 6, 2, 4, 6, 3) = 31 DMG, half on a DC 15 REF save.

Everyone else takes DMG: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4) = 9 (half on save).

Anyone who fails their sve is also buried alive!

Buried Alive:

Characters take 1d6 points of nonlethal damage per minute while buried. If such a character falls unconscious, he must make a DC 15 Constitution check each minute. If it fails, he takes 1d6 points of lethal damage each minute until freed or dead.

Characters who aren't buried can dig out their friends. In 1 minute, using only her hands, a character can clear rocks and debris equal to five times her heavy load limit. The amount of loose stone that fills a 5-foot-by-5-foot area weighs 1 ton (2,000 pounds). Armed with an appropriate tool, such as a pick, crowbar, or shovel, a digger can clear loose stone twice as quickly as by hand. A buried character can attempt to free himself with a DC 25 Strength check.

Worse, as the ceiling collapses you see two of your agents fall with the ceiling. Two Scroll-Seekers come crashing down. Athrax the kobold alchemist survives the initial fall, but a split second later a massive piece of stone crushes his entire head flat. The gregarious halfling Janira comes too. Even over the cacophony of the fall, you hear her femur snap. She's screaming in pain, but alive.

The entire room is now difficult terrain.

The Wall of Stone is 4 inches thick, and I can create a total of fourteen 5ft squares. I'm not sure just how big the cave area the dragon is trying to flee down is. Best case scenario, I'd like to basically double up on the wall, but if the cave is taller than 15ft, I'd like to try to arrange it so that the dragon has to at least squeeze through and slow it down, (leaving a hole near the bottom for us to go tough, but only if I can't cover the entire thing up).

EDIT: forgot the AoO

As the dragon attempts to flee for it's pitiful life, the larger reptile takes a snap at it, furious that it manages to weasel it's way out at just the last moment.

The onslaught is simply too much. Tooth and ice overpower the dragon. Loralis finally succumbs to her wounds.

Not wasting any time, you look about for answers. It seems Loaralis kept a portable hole containing several choices prizes in the cave to the east. The extradimensional space is hidden behind a large rock at the southern edge of the cavern.

Inside the portable hole are a wyrmslayer’s shield and gauntlets of giant strength +6 (function as a belt of giant strength +6 but occupies the hands slot) and two vials of the sun orchid elixir.

The portable hole also contains two loosely bound folios, seven large scrolls, a steel inkpen over 2 feet long, and a pint of ink. Both folios contain extraplanar observations of phenomena from throughout the Inner Sea region, though notes written in the margin provide ongoing commentary about how these events correlate to Thuvia and teleportation mishaps in the region. Collectively, the books posit that the composition of the sun orchid elixir and its effect on a creature’s age reacted in an unpredictable way when exposed to the Astral Plane—where all teleportation effects briefly travel—a decade ago. This might have caused a dangerous reaction or attracted astral predators; the writer favors the latter hypothesis based on the increased movement of astral creatures around Pashow, as if in anticipation of finding another elixir. The inside cover of each folio contains the words “For you as part of our deal. —S.P.”

The scrolls are all written in large letters as if by a giant. They present the writer’s thoughts about the two folios’ contents, including her skepticism about the alchemical-astral reaction. As you study these writings, you can tell that the author is obsessed with recovering a sun orchid elixir, though it seems more a point of pride and obsession that it is a matter of rejuvenation or profit. The last scroll records the reports from spies who attempted to track down the folios’ author. The author of the scrolls believes that the author of the books is one Professor Kramolag, a member of the Aspis Consortium who operates several laboratories in Nidal in order to research phenomena from beyond the stars and beyond the Material Plane. There is enough information in these scrolls that a dedicated researcher might be able to deduce these laboratories’ locations....

By thwarting Loaralis’s schemes and recovering both vials of the sun orchid elixir, you have ensured Pashow’s continued prosperity and averted the civil unrest and coup that could have rocked the region. Within hours, the rioters disband, and Guldis announces the safe arrival of the last remaining shipments. The populace quickly repairs the damage inflicted and prepares to hail its renewed fortune. As the true heroes of the day, the you can accompany Guldis to dozens of social events in celebration of the elixir’s arrival. News of Loralis's death quickly spreads and enhances your prestige even further. Much of the city’s industries are relieved at the death of the hidden crime lord to whom they often paid protection gold.

In the aftermath, the three Pathfinder teams report back to you. They met with resounding success, and due to the quick action on your part, NO names will be added to the Wall on this day!

Scroll-Seekers: Mission: 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 4 + 2 = 22 Report that the Aspis gold agent Kitio Aspenthi appears to be the one behind the attacks, and his other attempts to steal elixirs failed. He is now on the defensive, especially because it seems he failed his true master: the aggressive Prince Zinlo of Aspenthar. The team’s best guess is that Prince Zinlo hoped to instill unrest in Pashow and then annex it while it was weak.

Axe-Fixers:Mission: 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 4 + 2 = 22 Successfully quelled riots and proudly tell of how they struggled side-by-side with Pashow’s guards, earning the locals’ respect as they prevented an angry mob from destroying a marketplace.

Kernoug Group:Mission: 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 4 + 2 = 25 Reports that the planar connection to the Astral Plane gradually subsided, though a strange cultist shifted to the Material Plane partway through the investigation. The Pathfinders subdued her and attempted to interrogate her, but as she spoke, she began to dissolve into liquid shadow and screamed as she evaporated. Before she died, they learned that she serves a member of the Aspis Consortium from within the shadows of Nidal; however, the team believes that the way she spoke of her master suggested that the Aspis Consortium connection was tenuous or otherwise “not right.” The only belonging left behind was a medical bracelet bearing the number “311.”

No worries. Take your time. I did have a few questions. All that gear that we donated, do we get that back afterwards or is it gone? I'm fine either way, but I had intended to account for it afterwards and just wanted to know. I do not believe my init will change, (part of the original idea for this character was to purposefully not take Selective Channeling or Improved Init, and see how it worked), although, I just bought a Belt of +4 Str and Con and wish I had gone with Dex and Con instead for those gloves. It always peeved me that Paizo did that crap with Belts and Headbands.

Also, if we do hit Level 15, I get an 8th Level spell, and I want to upgrade my Continual Flame to an 8th level spell (with Heighten). I have a Spell Component Robe which essentially makes it free, (grants 50gp worth of spell components per day, continual flame costs 50gp of ruby dust). Do you need me to cast this in game, or can I do so in off time? I'm good wither way, just curious how you want to handle it.

Great game, and thank you for running it for us. I wasn't certain what was going on at some points, and I'll admit that the T-Rex, while something I had been wanting to try now (one of those odd bucket list things), was also sort of a hail mary. I have fought a dragon before with this character, but we had a paladin tear into it and that made things a little different, though it did flee for it's life.

The gear doesn't come back as far as I can tell. I'm fine with you upgrading your spell where ever. I just downloaded part II, so I'll read it shortly. The T-Rex is always awesome. In the final fight of a home game AP, the cleric summoned 4 of them with SMIX. IT was... scary.

I will be upgrading tonight. Just found Ulfen Guard and I am thinking of a dip. Roakar is actually half-Ulfen but I have never had a reason to really express that since backstory wise he grew up Shoanti. I like the mechanics and it would be a neat way to express some off the table RPing that has been going on between scenarios. Lots of interesting ideas for backstory.
