He turns and moves back up towards Alinya, drawing his sword as he goes. Move to I 16.

He's kinda using his longsword as a cane for stability, but he makes it.

Rholf also bounds up out of the bowl as quickly as possible, drawing his scimitar as he goes.

Edwin Looks, angry, when he hears that Alinya has been injured.

"Phase spider. Nasty piece of work. Most fascinating abilities. Hide and Seek it is then!" He says with a grim smile. He follows the others slowly, peering around as he does so. When he speaks it is in a rhythmical cadence, helping to keep the others calm and focused.

Can't get the map at work for some reason.(?) I'm sure Ed's fine. He'll try to stay towards the center of the group, but his priority is spotting this thing and telling the others so they can beat on it before it vanishes again.

it reappears, bites Rholf, for 15 in damage. He can save dc 18 fort, or be poisoned and take 1d2 con, and 1d2 con per round until he saves twice. And it winks out; before that, however, Rholf gets an aoo, and Larissa/Alinya as well if they have a reach weapon at the ready...

aoo's then group's attack. AFTER the aoo from Rholf and maybe Alinya/Larissa, the spider is winked out.

No reach weapon. If she casts Spiritual Weapon, would that be an option?

Not sure if a spiritual weapon can aoo; however, you've casted this round allready.

Castiel moves to K18. He readies an action to take a five foot step (if necessary and possible) and attack the spider if it reappears within his reach.

I'll say you can attack the "targeted dude" with a spiritual weapon; only get one aoo per round unless you have some feat.
Actually, she hasn't cast yet, but I don't reckon you can cast spiritual weapon AND get an aoo off as an aoo.
But if it's cast allready, you can.

Which is fortunate, because it also means the thing can't like become unethereal AND pop an aoo on you guys.......

Cool, thanks. How's the swingset coming? I took some time off a while back to help a cousin put together a 'deluxe' model for his three kids. Two solid days of work, but it was cool when we finished.

I'm still farting around trying to get around to starting. It's in my back yard, and the box is open.

I'm not feeling like hurrying; I feel like since I'm on call, I will invoke a Murphy's Law call in when I get to a crucial juncture.

That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!!!

My advice, and this saved us a LOT of grief, is to sort out all of the pieces ahead of time. We were able to find what pieces were missing, pile the stuff for step #whatever together, etc., and it saved us loads of time.

Ugh.....I can't get motivated. I don't think it should take more than 3 or 4 hours though.

We used ziploc bags to hold all of the hardware for a particular step so when we got to that step, we didn't have to go counting out screws and nuts, just grab the bag(s) with the appropriate number.

I'm like......it said I needed a tapemeasure? WTF? why do I need a tapemeasure?.....meh, I'll get cracking on it. I think I'll check in here this afternoon a bit though.

just need a philips' head screwdriver, and I'm practically halfway done.

Rholf's got an aoo on the phase spider.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Startled at the unexpected appearance of the gruesome phase spider, Rholf swings wildly, missing wide left. Can't imagine an 11 is going to hit the thing...

"By Sarenrae's light, that thing is hideous!"

Rholf swings too fast; almost loses his footing. He misses the fading creature that should not be.

Group's turn.

Rholf needs to make a fort save, dc 18, or be poisoned 1d2 con perround til he makes two consecutive saves.......above the 15 hp of damage.....

Fort Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

WHEW!!!

Rholf steps to the side (5 ft step to H 19, please.), at swings at the nasty once again.

Scimitar Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Crit Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

It became unethereal, attacked, and went ethereal; Rholfy just got an aoo.

You can keep the crit for a later chance though....

Made the save though. You can do something else if you want.
