Alinya looks down dubiously as Castiel swings to and fro on the thin rope. "Don't fall," she calls, helpfully. And then, in a small voice, "I'm not sure I can climb a rope. It never came up in any of my schooling."

Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Castiel spots the Lopper a moment before he attacks, but is unable to duck out of the way. As the ectoplasmic axe cuts into him he looses his grip on the rope and plunges into the murky, debris filled water below.

“Lopper!” Castiel roars. “Iomedae blast you.” With the crude prayer the paladin’s hand is enveloped in a white glow and he reaches out to touch the ghost.
Using Lay On Hands as melee touch attack (doesn’t provoke AoOs and the undead receives no save): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 positive energy.
I think Larissa's impetuousness must be influencng Alinya.
"Are you sure?" Alinya replies down the echoing shaft. "I was going to try something more... adventurous." She takes the paladins advice and, still sitting on the edge of the pit, channels Pharasma's glory.
"I will aid Castiel - you continue to 'bless' the fiend!"
Larissa will channel to heal Castiel - and more importantly, to stop the bleed damage.
Channeling to heal2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6
The save vs channeling for the other two channelers is better. Where is the Lopper located based on the edge of the pit - could an impetuous girl drop on/through him with a jump?

Castiel’s going to wait to see if Alinya or Edwin can finish this joker off – he’d rather save some of his lay on hands given that there are another 2 (presumably) ghostly beg bad prisoners to deal with.
I'm coming! I'm coming! Sheesh, can't a guy write a hundred lighting cues for a show without missing a battle? Sheesh! ;P
"You like that? Let's see if we can't entertain you with something new. I'm thinking 'pincushion'!" Edwin calls cheerfully to the ghost as he fires another Ghost Touch arrow at the homicidal spirit.

Castiel primes another healing hand, his gauntleted palm glowing. “Go to the Hell where you belong Lopper,” he intones, seeking to touch the ghost again.
"You, my delusional spirit, talk to much!" Edwin sighs as he knocks another Ghost Touch arrow to his bow and sights along the shaft.
"That, combined with the knowledge that you were incarcerated and what for, leads me to the obvious conclusion that in life you were a homicidal psychopath with severe mental trauma and an unhealthy attraction to sharp objects and a dangerous disregard for standard social moral mores. Obviously even in death you still refuse to accept the basic tenets of morality, causing you to reject the afterlife in fear of what awaits you, and in a vain attempt to remain here and validate your previous behavior by imposing your will upon your fellow spirits and the people that punished you. This is all probably the result of an unhealthy and unrewarding relationship with your father which ended up with your transferring your allegiance to the nearest female authority figure with matriarchal tendencies."
"In layman's terms. Your a 'Momma's Boy'! But I can help you with that."
Alinya feels a reluctance to channel any more of the lady's blessings; who knows what perils await them beyond this foul spectre? She pauses, trying to judge whether the Lopper is committed to this fight, or ready to flee - again insubstantial - beyond their reach.
Does axe-boy look hurt in any way? Can Alinya tell how badly?
Alinya thinks about her other resources, and then prays briefly. A dagger-shaped expression of Pharasma's justice materialises over her left shoulder. The dagger speeds into the pit, mercilessly seeking the Lopper.
