Sareneae's Spiritual Scimitar comes at the mama worg once more.
Larissa, however, begins to glow, giving off light like a torch as she transforms into an elemental form. Once so changed, she draws some of the energy into herself to heal some of the wounds caused by the giant wolf.
She doesn't try to move or stand, but brandishes her claws at the wolf adjacent to her position.
The scimitar can't hit the wily wolf this time.
The wolf is too busy with Leik and Ragnvaldr to give Larissa much attention. It's relieving and insulting at the same time.
Leik; Ragnvaldr; Alinya, and Edwin are up.

One of his daggers flares up with energy that is then expended when it hits the she-wolf-behemoth
Leik plunges the glowing dagger into the worg; it screams loudly in agony, finally beginning to lament this ambush........

Alinya smiles grimly as the wolf's snapping jaws are barely deflected by her arcane protections. With an ancient syllable, she summons the frigid powers of the northern world into the spectral hand. At her unspoken command it attacks the leader of the worgs.
"And now," the Ulfen growls, bringing the axe down atop the worg's massive head...
"...you die!" He punctuates his statement with another powerful backhanded blow from his shield.
Edwin yells in shock and pain as the wolves tear into him,...
He desperately tries to twist and turn as they leap at him, trying to maintain his balance,...
Edwin manages to keep on his feet, and stands back up, bleeding profusely, but glaring at the two worgs facing him as if they have given him personal insult.
"You know, I'm thinking this might not be the best place to be,..." He murmurs as he steps to the side and sings a few bars, the lyrics include the words 'safe' & 'vanish'.

Rholfy is missed by one of his foes;

Alinya is missed,
Edwin is hit for 6 hp, and threatens a trip on 15 vs. Edwin's cmd.

Leik switches one of his mind daggers to a one-handed blade, charges it with psychic energy, and goes to town on the beast next to him.
He cuts it a little bit; the second attack misses. The worg grins at him.
Rholf thuds to the ground with an "Oomph!" as his feet are torn from their purchase on the ground by the thrashing of the worg's teeth in his leg.
Not bothering to stand up, Rholf swings his hammer at the beast that bit him...

Larissa moves her weapon to target Alinya's foe. It makes one strike before disappearing.
Larissa then attempts to throw herself to the side . Her golem glow continues.
"Hah! My arcane armor is nigh invulnerable. Flee, dog-thing, if you value your hide," Alinya gloats. She sends her cold-charged phantom limb flickering towards the wolf that Larissa hit.
Edwin curses as the worg takes another nip out of his hide. He manages to twist enough to prevent the heavy creature from landing on him and pulling him to the ground. However, he doesn't look so good.
Edwin makes a calculating glance to one side, starts to lean that way, then reverses and backpedals once again as he desperately sings another short verse. This time it evokes a feeling of peace and comfort.

The worg has seen better days, but is far from stopped.
Seeing Rholf under duress and satisfied with the demise of the larger wolf, the Ulfen steps in to capitalize on the flank provided by the downed cleric and bellows a roar of fury as he brings the silver axe crashing down.
The blow fails to connect, however, and the blade slams into the dirt without effect.
Edwin pulls his whip out one-handed,
"Let us see how YOU like it furball!" He sneers, snapping the whip at the nearest worg,...
Ragnvaldr misses; and Edwin's trip attempt is for naught.
He could swear the worg is laughing at him.
Larissa; Alinya.......
After standing back up, she calls on Sarenrae's Scimitar again and sends it after one of the worgs threatening Rholf.
She lands another mystic blow; it's getting worn down by the bloodloss of it all.
Alinya.....
Alinya emits a soft whimper as she lands on her rump, and she mentally commands her hand-servant to attack again. "Oh! Help!"

Alinya's foe is hurt a bit, but doesn't seem too bad off.

Alinya's mage armour keeps her blood in her skin, and
the final attacker pursues Edwin; does not trip him and does 8 hp in damage to the detective bard.

She hits with the dagger only.
It growls at her angrily.
Ragnvaldr swings again at Rholf's aggressor, bringing the shining axe in a wide sweep and exercising more caution with his attack.
The axe almost kills the worg, but the shield bash finishes the job.
