Melinda tries to bite back a growl as the shapechanger molests the new addition to their caravan. "Sellest piisab. Meil on vaja istuda käed ja naeratus ebaõiglust liiga palju kordi. Need kiusab," her voice a snarl at the word, "on toime türann troonile."

She looks at her friends, her family, her voice steady, "Kui me ei taha seista talle, kuidas kurat me saame oodata, kes kasvas üles käesoleva jõhkrus seda teha?"

Halfling:
That is enough. We have needed to sit on our hands and smile at injustice way too many times. These bullies are the effect of the tyrant on the throne.

If we aren't willing to stand up to him, how the hell can we expect those who grew up under this brutality to do so?

Kyrademon:
I want to give the other PCs a chance to say no. If none do, Mel will put a wall of fire down between the main group of oni and the caravan so try to keep them from being able to charge in to aid the ones doing the search. And then follow that up with fireball, lots of fireball. And corrosive consumption.

|As you say, Guv. I'll just keep out of the way.|

Kalimac accepts Alaric's hand up. As he dusts himself off, he mutters to Alaric, "Ma arvan, et need kutid näeks hea otsas vabakutseline, kas pole nii?"

Kalimac wanders off to make sure his favorite wolf is suited up.

Halfling:
"I think these guys would look good on the end of a lance, don't you?"

Alaric:
Mel looks at him, her green eyes wide, a blush creeping up her cheeks. "Really?"

She looks down without really looking away from him, the blush quickly getting deeper, quietly, "I thought we weren't..." a tiny cough, "because it would hurt Milena.." She doesn't voice the other reason that occurred to her, which is, of course, that she just isn't that attractive with swollen belly and ankles.

Mel:
"Oh, no. I was joking about that. We can still have sex. I mean, even if your vagina were off limits, your mouth and your ass are still in fine working order."

Female Quarter-Orc Sorcerer

Alaric:
She goes quite a bit darker at the blunt frankness, her eyes wide. Neither hides the glint of pleasure that tweaks her lips up. "So it was just the horrible oppressive pallor of that city..." She meet his eyes, "I mean..." her blush deeper, "Do you want me...?" Hope. The traces of the desire that he can bring to a boil with just a caress.

Mel:
He frowns. "Well... yeah. Of course. I always want you."

Rhost's expression is much less complex. He smiles, genuinely pleased. "Soup's ready," he says.

And then: "Plans after? After all this?" Rhost's vague gesture could indicate the fire, the campsite, or the continent.

She holds out a bowl, face lighting with pleasure as the savory steam rises from the pot. She smells the dish, "Is there a way for you to make it spicier?" Hope in her voice, which is odd since she doesn't normally like overly spicy food.

"After dinner... Find a friend. Find something to talk about until Milena and my body decide I need a nap." Happy, if annoyed, smile. "Later... head home. Fix the horrible things that we saw on our way here." She blushes, "More children."

"You?"

Female Quarter-Orc Sorcerer

Alaric:
Her face lights up with his words, leaning forward to kiss him, the memory of her breath on his lips when she pulls away. Then the frown registered, "I know you want me, that you love me. But," her hands motion to her belly, "I don't think I'm really sexy at the moment."

She takes his hand in both of hers, her fingers playing against his palm, "I didn't like the city we were in, but I couldn't really think of a way to seduce you after we left..." She lifts the hand to her lips, kisses his wrist, "I thought I had to be satisfied with foot rubs..."

Quiet, reaching his ears just fine, but inaudible to anyone else, "I want you..."

Myri looks down involuntarily and blushes at Lio's words, "I'm glad you think so, Lio. I guess I have moments...& I hope he'll like it."

I'm assuming a "high-quality item" for a DC15. With an average roll of 10, I think Lio would add about 240sp per week or 24gp. Either one or two weeks should be fine. I made a mistake and should have approached Lio a couple of weeks ago. Cost to create item is 1/3 value created.

Alaric is booted over with a great clash and clatter of armor, to much laughter and guffaws from the nearby soldiers.

Myri appears to be a bit frightened by the nasty soldiers

Lio has a + 6 to craft, so DC 15 is totally reachable. Should I roll, or is taking a 10 acceptable? How many times should I roll, if that is required? I am ok with Myri asking several weeks ago, that's fine by me as long as it's ok with Kyrademon

She asks, not knowing what other things Buttersnips was currently working on, and not wanting to impose overly. "And... I have one additional commission I'd like to give you. I... wish to give each member of Shae and my bridal party a small gift. I was hoping, if there were small scraps of dragon hide left that you do not intend to use for something else, that small elegant purses could be fashioned for the women, so Ameiko, Myri, Zaiobe, and Mel, and for the men, Tollin, Ulf, and Jorun, perhaps wallets. What... do you think? If dragon hide is not an option, perhaps some other exotic leather could be found?"

Shalelu Dessert:

Lio's breath catches. She runs her fingers down your sides, down the outside of your legs over the dress. When she gets to your ankles, her hands move to the inside of your legs. Very slowly, she fingers caress up, taking the form fitting dress with them, higher and higher, the plug in Lio's hand, leaving a moist trail from where she licked it, against the inside of your left leg. Once she has the dress hiked up to your hips, her fingers linger over your behind. If you are still wearing the crotchless panties she put you in, they get lowered to mid thigh. And then the plug is rubbed, ever so slowly, against your clit, taking the moisture there, to cover it in your juices.

"Take a breath." She tells you. Her fingers playing with the soft skin peeking out between stocking and garter.

Once you do, "Let it out." And if you follow her direction, the plug is very gently, but very surely, inserted in your rear, just as you run out of air.

"I think, you will find, dessert to your liking." She whispers in your ear, as your panties are gently pulled back up, and then your skirt is lowered again.

She pulls you away from the wall, towards her, into a gentle, yet firm, embrace, reassuring herself that you are ok with this. Then she takes you by the hand. "Dessert is waiting." She says, and leads the way, with you by her side, yet just slightly behind.

While Shae is getting ready, (if it's ok) Lio would ask the servants to lay out pastries that she purchased by the fountain, and to be ever so kind and put a blanket (to sit on) and a lantern there for her use. She understands they will be near by, and it is possible other's could be in the area as well.

i'd like the bracelet to be Lio's wedding gift to Shae, separate from the ring, so that Shae doesn't know about it until she gets it. if that's doable. :)

Shalelu:
Kyrademon wrote:

Shalelu thinks for a while about what you have told her regarding your conversation with Zaiobe.

"I think you have good reason to be angry at her for not keeping her word," Shalelu says. "But ... from what you tell me, I do not think she understood the potential consequences of her action, to herself or to you, and so thought it a passing comment rather than a serious matter."

"I suspect that both her lack of concern over it, and much of what occurred in her conversation with you, came from a refusal to think ill of her lover, and then a desire to defend him. Other than breaking her word, her main fault would seem to me to be her love causing first a failure to realize how her actions might be taken, and then a failure to believe it when she was told."

"If you think her breach of trust in and of itself was bad enough that she cannot be forgiven, whatever her reasons, it is your choice and your right, and I would understand either decision."

"And regarding your fears of the consequences ... Melinda does not strike me as sharing Alaric's ... eccentricities. While she respects his opinion, I do the most likely possibility is that she will form her own."

Lio listens. If anyone can make her listen, it's Shae. She nods, after careful consideration. Calmer. You're right. I... was just really upset, and needed time to process, and when Zaiobe seemed to blow off my concern, and put the focus on how great Alaric is, I never thought it could be because she didn't understand how big of a deal it was to me. And... she is my friend, I don't want to loose her friendship.

I... guess I need to sit down and talk with her, explain what I was feeling when she said what she did. And get her point of view, so she understands that her feelings are important to me. I got so mad, I didn't want to touch her. I didn't even realize for a moment that that meant she couldn't talk to me. All I could think about was that when I felt terrible, when I was that upset, I was usually on the receiving end of a beating, and psychologically, I just couldn't quite deal with being touched."

A pause, she gets up, finds some water, comes back over to you, drinking it. "I know maybe it seems like I demonize people that I disagree with. I know I overreact easily. But... in my defense, I haven't exactly had the best experiences with people. And... I don't hate Alaric. I don't understand him. I am terrified that he has the power to take people from me that I care about. But... I know he's not the controlling jerk that I imagine him to be. He would never keep my loved ones from me. He believes in freedom and justice. He's a bit strange, but he's a good man. And my fears are stupid. I... I just, for nearly a hundred years, I never had anything, I could trust no one. So... trust is hard for me. I keep expecting people to do terrible things, just because they can. And I don't read people well, so I constantly misunderstand them, which really doesn't help matters. But... when I found out I had a family... and... I found you... sometimes I just get so scared. When... when you were kidnapped, I... I all I could think about was what terrible things could be happening to you. Things that had happened to me. And... when you were hurt, but ok... I was so thankful that you didn't have to experience some of the things I did. I never wanted to let you go."

She's possibly off topic now, but tries to get back on, "I guess, when Z admitted breaking her word to me, I just saw my future crumble, and a repeat of my experiences, that really, other people can't be trusted. But on the other hand, it didn't make sense, because, really, why would Mel or Alaric even be mad about it... the spirit of her dance was so innocent, she was so full of joy, and she read my mind, because pretty much all I could think of at that point was you whirling pasties around, dancing for me", Lio blushes at the idea of you in pasties, "and she offered to give lessons... but... I guess, with the time that I messed up the present for Mel and Alaric, I just panicked and went overboard, and I shouldn't have gone off on Z like that. I should have just asked her to give me some time to process. If you're right, and she really didn't understand how serious my request was... I guess... I just... I don't really ask for things. So... when I asked her for something, I thought she would realize how serious it was. But... I should have been firmer. I shouldn't have backed down so easy, but she seemed to really want to dance, and I thought, what's the harm if she's ok with not talking about it? Why would I even think that? I would never do something I couldn't tell you about... but it didn't seem like a big deal to her, so I thought, ok, I guess it's ok that she strips and you know, her dance was quite spectacular. Even Jorun whistled.

I ...should be more forgiving. She even told me that I had said hurtful things to her in the past and she'd forgiven me. I don't even know what I said that could have hurt her. And our argument got out of hand so quickly, she never had the chance to tell me. But if I said things that hurt her, and she could forgive me, then I can forgive her, when she had no idea how serious my request was. But I think at this point she's probably really upset at me, and doesn't want to talk to me. And, she's probably in the process of telling Alaric what happened, since according to Z, Mel seemed to think the striptease was a big deal. Which I don't really understand, but I've come to accept humans make no sense most of the time. So I guess she'll want some time to cool down from our argument. Maybe I can ask her to talk with me later tonight or tomorrow?"

Male Human (Ulfen) Oracle of Battle 10

Hrunndalf raises an eyebrow as Miyaro reveals herself, then frowns angrily as she is groped.

Hrunndalf grumbles, "Nad on katk maa peale. Tapatalgud arv kolme?"

Halfling:
They are a plague upon the land. Carnage on the count of three?

Various people shift around, change their postures, move to a somewhat different place. The unfamiliar small children in front of the slender blond woman step into the shadows. In Halfling, Liothonae asks a quiet question of Miyaro - can you take on this foe? Miyaro merely shrugs her shoulders. She does not know.

And then, with a quietly spoken word for three in Halfling, the battle begins.

Melinda starts by laying a wall of fire across the road, the grass, and as many of the troops as she can, separating their numbers and blocking any charges from them. Shortly after, all of you pitch in with your own assaults, catching the surprised foe flat-footed.

With a bellow of rage, their leader shouts, |Kill them! Kill them all!|

Before your eyes, the troops - all of them - change into muscular, gray skinned creatures with tiny eyes and savage expressions. They look almost like hobgoblins, but something about them is ... strangely off.

They draw their weapons and stumble forward through the fire. The battle is joined in earnest.

To reflect the fact that you opened with a surprise attack that would have impacted both their hit points and their tactics, I am adjusting their stats of the encounter to effectively lower their CR by one, reducing their attack, defense, and hit points. That serves as the surprise round.

ROUND 1

Oni Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29
Damage: 5d8 ⇒ (2, 7, 1, 3, 3) = 16

Caravan Circles Wagons

You move into a defensive position, but these are not ordinary soldiers, they fly into battle, meeting your hurled fire with blasts of freezing cold.

64 total damage to Caravan

Caravan Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21

The sheer numbers of the enemy are beginning to take their toll. There are twice as many of them as there are of you, and you fear you will be flanked and routed.

Damage: 3d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3, 1) + 10 = 20

Miss

Caravan Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18

Damage: 3d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 6, 6) + 10 = 23
83 total damage to Oni

Back and forth the battle rages, neither side seeming to gain an advantage for very long.

ROUND 13

Oni Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (15) + 16 = 31
Damage: 5d8 ⇒ (8, 5, 2, 7, 5) = 27
200 total damage to Caravan

Caravan Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24
Miss

You are on the point of flight, but they seem nearly defeated as well. You think if you press on for just a few more rounds, you can defeat them.

ROUND 14

Oni Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
Damage: 5d8 ⇒ (5, 6, 4, 5, 7) = 27

When the dust from it clears, the Oni have been destroyed.

The Caravan has taken 227 points of damage.

He gently but firmly turns her around, leaning over her shoulder to kiss her. "You probably want to get off your feet," he says, though he doesn't really wait for a response, simply guiding her to the bed.

You could make Milena a baby blanket... after all... she was there for the dragon slaying. Lio suggests.

if I'm being ignored ic. by Alaric... would you please ask him to post he's ignoring me, so as a player I don't feel like he hasn't seen my post. Lio will offer to help, but I have to go to work tight now and won't be able to manage another post for a while.

Liothoane/Shalelu:
She listens to your words attentively, and thinks about them for some time.

"I don't understand humans very well either," she confesses. "If Zaiobe is talking with Alaric right now, I could not predict whether he is reacting with hysterical outrage or mild calm. Whether your prediction of his reaction was precise and insightful or misguided."

"But ... even if your relations with him are strained, it will not be the first nor the last time in history that someone had in-law issues. And while that might be unpleasant, you have never been all that close to him. The greater concern is how all this will affect your relations with those you are close to."

"And that is where the issue of trust may come in. Trust that if you meant no harm, Melinda will make up her own mind and form her own opinion. Trust that Zaiobe meant no harm, and was as unwary as you giving your gift upon the Solstice."

"Trust is a paradox. If you never extend it, you will never be hurt. But you will also always be hurting."

She strokes your face. "I would talk to Zaiobe. You might even consider apologizing for speaking to her without touching her. You had reasons, but I cannot imagine that was pleasant, and even when you are in the right, it is wise to acknowledge when you are also in the wrong."

Quick request - for the moment, could you address any posts to Zaiobe simply to Kyrademon?

"What'd I say? Totally normal."

Alaric quickly helps Mel in the direction of the wagon. "Zaiobe, I'm going to need you to help me get this stupid armor off. Reta, get water and rags. I need to get this blood off of her." Even through the businesslike comportment of the barked orders, Alaric's excitement shines through.

The moan of pain as the first of the contractions goes through her body is quickly bitten back by long monastic habit. Instead of sound, she just holds on to Alaric's metal form, breathing quick and ragged. Then almost limp as the pain passes and she realizes Alaric is trying to get her to the wagon.

She looks up at Alaric, a joy shining through the lingering pain, "About time..."

Perception 1d20 + 2 - 2 - 5 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 2 - 5 = 2 (-2 'sickened', -5 distracted)

And seeing worried relatives, her smile is full of confidence. And a little fear, but far less than is normal or sane for a first-time mother.

Kyrademon:
Mel would try to prestidigitation herself clean before getting in the wagon... but not sure what DC it would be for the concentration check. concentration 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30

Family Wagon:
Alaric directs Mel to stand, "Lets gravity do half the work for us," he says by way of explanation.

Then has Zaiobe assist getting the lobstered metal off his body. When she's finished, he likely surprises her with a quick kiss. "We're having a baby!" he says gleefully, pain washed away on a tsunami of pure joy.

Then he gets to work delivering the child. He will bring his formidable healing skills to bear 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34, and compliment that with Cure spells and channels.

Those equipped to tell the difference might note that he's using more magic than would appear strictly necessary.

Reading the elf's body language, Kalimac asks, "Something on your mind, Lio?"

"You?"

"Ginger or pepper?" Rhost asks. "Caravan or by sea? Insane or misguided? How many?"

And then he thoughtfully chews a piece of gristle. "Finish this," Rhbost gives another of those general gestures, "In-depth discussions with Kelda," a shrug. "Ħajja huwa iebes biżżejjed jum wieħed kull darba. Naturalment ikollok pjanijiet." A big grin.

Alaric:
Pure joy lights her eyes at his words, simultaneously secure in his love and guarding it as precious and fragile. Her own vow whispered into his lips as he kisses. Her laughter as he guides her to their bed is low yet unrestrained.

The bulk of her belly hinders her normally lithe movement, but her enthusiastic desire to be with him more than makes up for her awkward body. As they get to the bed she turns back to him, her hands sneaking under his clothes. A small pout of annoyance when she realizes can't kiss him as she caresses him, her belly forcing a certain distance.

Reta stands by to clean whatever needs cleaning, but Melinda seems surprisingly blood-free by the time she enters the wagon.

Zaiobe strips Alaric out of his armor in record time. Already glowing with happiness at the situation, she practically seems to go nova when Alaric kisses her. She stands by for whatever help is needed, letting the professional call the shots, but assisting where she can: 1d20 ⇒ 18 ... quite well and ably.

1d100 ⇒ 38 ... The labor takes four and half hours before it is finally time.

Liothonae/Shalelu Dessert Date:
Shalelu's breath grows ragged as your hand traces her legs. She is still wearing the underwear you gave to her, and she quivers as you rub the toy against her clit.

Under your direction, she inhales, and then exhales.

liothonae cromvathar wrote:

"I think, you will find, dessert to your liking." She whispers in your ear, as your panties are gently pulled back up, and then your skirt is lowered again.

She pulls you away from the wall, towards her, into a gentle, yet firm, embrace, reassuring herself that you are ok with this. Then she takes you by the hand. "Dessert is waiting." She says, and leads the way, with you by her side, yet just slightly behind.

"Then by all means," she says, "Please take me wherever you wish." She follows your lead.

Family Wagon:
Four and half hours. During the contractions Melinda grip the wooden supports of the wagon, biting back against sounds of pain, all of her considerable willpower forcing her breathing to remain calm. In between the painful interludes, she walks slowly about the interior, supported by either Alaric or Zaiobe, a low murmur of comfort to Milena, trying to coax the child out faster.

And when, after what seems like a much longer time to the soon-to-be mother, it is time, she pushes.

You know, the things that hang over the crib suspended from strings to make interesting patters and sounds as they move against each other. That could be scales... or... prettily carved teeth... that would be neat." She ponders a moment. "Or you could make a doll or a teddy bear." She suggests.

Lio walks with you. After a short while, her hand lets go of yours, and she puts her arm around your waist, protectively. "I will..." She whispers into your ear, in Elven, her tone seductive, full of desire for you. "And after that... we, will do whatever I wish."

She takes you to the fountain. Offering you a place on the blanket near the little basket of pastries and the lowly burning lamp. Lio helps you sit.

Once you are seated in whichever manner you find most comfortable, each position you sit in, likely reminding you of what you are submitting to, Lio too sits down, her body language open, confident in her love for you. She directs the servants to keep a little ways away, to offer you a bit of privacy, no matter how imagined it might be.

She takes a little plate from the basket, and places a fruity pastry on it. After tearing a small piece off, with fruit on it, she holds it up to your mouth, to offer it to you, and feed it to you, should you so desire. Once you have taken the bite, she looks at you, 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 (bluff to look stern) almost sternly, although the amount of desire in her eyes drowns out her attempt at being too firm with you. Perhaps she needs more confidence. She speaks very softly, in Elven.

"I understand you have been very naughty, young lady. Perhaps the problem is a lack of discipline in your life. So we need to set some ground rules for you to obey, and concrete consequences for when you break those rules... The only desert you get from now on, is desert I feed you, or, if we are alone, that you eat off me. Is that understood?"

She waits for your answer, then touches your face, very gently turning it first to the right, then the left, as she looks at you. Her fingers caressing your cheeks, she then picks up another tasty morsel, and offers it to you. After a moment of admiring you as you eat, she continues, "I like the makeup. You'll wear it, more often from now on." Her pretty smile as she admires how beautiful you are, ruining the effort of sternness.

She tries to get back in character, "You will fastidiously groom your neither regions for the foreseeable future. I want... to see you maintain the bareness, so when I taste you, lick you, kiss your lower lips, there is nothing between us but your juices" Her words are alternately even quieter than her normal whisper, and occasionally emphasized. As she says the word 'lips' she feeds you another bite of the fruity desert.

"If there is something you need, or something you want... you will tell me immediately if you do not have the funds. If I have to play a thousand questions or guess what's the matter, I'll give you something to think about. You'll be spanked soundly for your indiscretions. Is that clear? Furthermore, and on the subject of spanking, right now, you going to tell me everything naughty that you've done. And you better not leave anything out." She takes a bite out of the pastry she's been feeding you, licks her fingers, one by one, then places that hand on your mid thigh.

Kyrademon:

flex time

Lio asks one of the servants to please give a note to Zaiobe when Z is alone. The note is sealed with red wax, and a small impression of an acorn has been made in the sealing wax.

If Z reads the note, it states, rather formally, in the way that Lio learned to scribe, "By way of apology, I ask your forgiveness for my being unkind, irrational, and loosing my temper. It would mean a great deal to me if we could talk about what happened. I understand if you do not wish to do so, however, if you would spare a moment of your time for me, I am at your disposal."

Lio does not know if Z is ready to talk so soon after their argument, and so will leave it open for Z to decide when she is ready.

either way is fine with me. I made a mistake on my spreadsheet and should have been targeting a lower value (ran out of supplies), but if you don't mind Myri retroactively picking up some good carving wood in Ordu-Aganhei then I will take the gp value off of her sheet. Either way is fine. Lower value and finished earlier or current value (will take off gp) and for all I know we will miss or have missed the unknown target date.
