You all walk closer and closer to the massive fungus. The air thick with spores and such, making it harder to breathe. At this point your maybe 100 feet from the monstrous size fungus. it sits having grown from a pit filled with death. Surrounding it several other fungus, all seemingly attached to the massive one. Behind the Fungus a sealed steel vault.
Things ignoring you as of right now, count this a a surprise round. i should add by massive i mean Large sized, there are 3 other fungus about medium sized spread across the area roughly 30 feet apart

Then I try to hit as much as I can with the spell: I cast it on one fungi and make it roll over the next one. Next round I will roll to the big or back to the first again. About the lost player I agree with Azruk: we pwn these little uglies and after that we can "secure the treasury" and return to town so we can meet the new player.

How far away are the small fungi from the big one? And how far the big one from us? I ask because of reasons. Spell range reasons actually. And burninate reasons.
Male Dungeon Master Dungeon Master / 21 levels
The small fungus doesn't seem to be moving, the big Fungus is moving 10 feet a round, you guys are roughly 90-100 feet away, well Artemis and Azruk are anyway as that's their bow's general ranges. i will assume you are at the farthest away you could be when casting your last spell. the small fungus is 10 feet away from the big one. I should also add though your attacks are hitting the big fungi's damage seems to be healing in small amounts
