Thank yee gov'n'r, shalls we continue down is 'ear corry-door?
ting continues down the corridor until he comes to what appears to be a three-way-split, with a room at the end. He stops and carefully looks around.
Hmmm. Ting would like to take 20 on perception here at the crossroads to see what he can see ;)
GM Baerlie |
Ting and Hans entere the room at the end of the tunnel. A mound of what appears to be rotten vegetables, fruit and excrement sits heaped in the middle of the room. A bulging lether sack rests atop the mound of garbage.
A single forlorn kobold sits in the middle alcove in the northern part of this cave, her arms, legs, and snout tightly bound with rope and her body lashed to iron spikes driven into the cave wall. She squirms and wriggles.
Feli2 |
Felicitas, not far behind follows slowly. Seeing the kobold bound she looks right and left before moving closer and using her knife to open the gag.
"Hush, be quite. Maybe we can help you!"
GM Baerlie |
"I'm here because the others are a bunch of spineless cowards who'll just do whatever their idiot chieftain Roaghaz says. And I did not want to do that." the kobold says. "I already thought you look like you're changing things 'round here! I've suffered enough at Chief Roaghaz's stupid whims. I'll help you!"
GM Baerlie |
"You have to know that I'm not a member of this tribe. My own tribe was attacked by gnomes some time ago and I'm the only survivor. I came here to look for a new home, but these kobolds here are evil. They made a plan how to lure the wizard into the tower and kill him. I told them to leave the humans alone, but they did not listen. The chains are my reward." the kobold says. "My name is Nighttail. If you let me go, I promise to aid you in reaching Roaghaz and, if you can help me kill him, I promise I will take over the Blood Vow tribe and swear they'll never bother the humans again."
