What came before...:

Six months have passed since the War of Souls, an epic conflict that spanned the world of Krynn. After 39 years when the Gods have been silent and magic flowed unrestrained by the Moons, the Gods of Krynn have returned. The first among the Light, Paladine walks the earth as a mortal, while the Dark Queen Takhisis lies dead, leaving their places vacant among the heavens. Ansalon still bears scars of the decades where evil reigned upon the world in the Godless times. The Dark Knights of Neraka still subjugate numerous lands and the wicked minotaurs have begun a campaign of conquest. Many among the righteous and good have suffered in the Age of Mortals. Solamina's forces are weakened by the war, the elves are in exile, the Kender lands burned to ash and the dwarves in ever conflict with their darker brethren. Decades ago, the Companions saved the world from the brink of ruin. Now once again, heroes must rise and bring balance back to the world. Will you be among them?

Does the map as it is show where we started? I think that KOS and I would be closer up a bit.


Can't edit the map or token. I usually make Gabriel large to reflect being mounted.


The map shows you just how far you've got after they unleashed a blast of arrows against you. Drawing 300 feet on a map would be inconvenient.

As for the map, I don't know why the images don't move. We'll just have to hold things off until this evening when I can edit the properties as I can't access my Google Drive from where I am.


ah, if they are 300' I will still smite the leader and have my horse run 200' preparing to charge next round.

Terevalis, was your intelligence a 19 or a 20 at the start? Remember that you got +1 intelligence from the test and a stat boust for level 4. Did you put that in intelligence or somewhere else?

My int is now 21. I've put all bonuses there.


moving to discussion. You don'g get strength and 1/2 and then strength again on overhand chop. Overhand Chop is a special attack action that does double strength instead of 1 1/2 strength. That is where you are getting the extra 2 from. I see what you did. Here is the post from the guy that wrote the archetype explaining it if you don't want to take my word for it.

That is still pretty good damage.


yeah damage is still great :). Two handed fighter is pretty good at it especially at these low levels.

The irritating thing about 2H-fighter is that once you get iteratives, you can only use overhand chop or backhand swing, not both. The accounting is a bit obnoxious.

I guess I'll take the bow. It provides the same bonus as my current one, but is magical at least. With an actual thief in the group, I can pump some points into survival and maybe actually track something once in a while.

How far away are we from m the the tomb?


Leaving at 4 today heading to Tampa. SCA event tomorrow and them floating the river sunday with friends and family won't be posting until sunday night or monday. Just giving a heads up.


Another 1/2 day travel. You'll reach it in the evening. It was roughly a day's travel into the Silvanesti forest. You've travelled 4 hours of it and spent an hour surveying the minotaurs. Another 4 hours and you'll reach the tomb area.

Highgod would I be able to apprentice him or at least sponsor him?


You could sponsor him. As for apprenticing him he's too young to be taking in the road. Best way would be for him to submit himself to the tower of Khuriman tot for training.

That is fine! I'd pay for his training. As his sponsor he would have to wear black robes until he was tested correct?


Depends considering it will be Zoe who would be training him unless you can devote the time which you can't really because you have a quest to accomplish and adventuring to do.

I have had an unprecedented week of work at my job and doing a lot of overtime and have been far too busy to do postings for the game. I feel your pain. I started this week also with huge amount of work, that would be for about 2 months, with no day rest until work has been completed. Well nothing new for me working 60 consecutive 14 hour days, without a day's rest during the period. Though afterwards I get plenty leave to cool down. I will generally post every day, but might not be very frequent.
