If I'm posting too much, I apologize and just let me know. This is my first play-by-post. Honestly, I'm just trying to keep up most of the time at this point!
I feel like I might be posting and ranting too much, myself. This is my second time playing any games on this forum at all, so I'm not terribly experienced either.
I spend so much time thinking of this and trying to consider strategies that work, so I always come back to throw out ideas whenever they occur to me. And yeah, work's slow sometimes.
This game has gone crazy! In the Wolves game Simon had 56 posts total, Sir Jiminy in the Mutants game had 40 posts total, Ingilstadt is already at 24 posts and we haven't lynched the first person yet! I don't have the freedom to post during work hours, so I'll fall behind somewhat at this current pace, but by all means keep it up folks, it's been great fun so far.
I am just glad I am not the only who is a mad poster, lol. It's really astounding how many roleplaying posts I have made between all of the PMs and the game posts.
Thanks for that. I have heard about the paizo chat when occassionally skimming through the FAWLTY threads.
Glad you had a good time today. Did you keep a transcript? I was feeling so rotten when I left work that I completely forgot. IC only. I don't think there is anything important, but just in case.

Yes, I'll need some editing. (removing time stamps, etc..) Hope your feeling better now.
Boo on feeling rotten. Get to feeling better and come back soon.
I've only been in a few Mafia irc and irl games before, but I've read a lot of play-by-post ones, and I don't think I've ever run across one this convoluted. I mean, no lynchings, no assassinations, all the backroom soft networking, the power trips.
Seriously, if any of you haven't gone back and re-read the thread in its entirety, do it when you get a chance. It is awesome.
Edit: Morning coffee = obtained. Cleaned out the parts that made no sense. Posting prior to coffee bad.
I'm actually pretty surprised how much plotting and scheming has happened before even the first proper death. I'm not super familiar with these types of games, but I don't think that's typical!
Wait...what?!? Doug, level with us....are there really assassins in this game, or did you set this up so we would just accuse each other and roleplay until we caught on? :P
Seriously, I am amazed. Despite Taraz's antics, I guess he hasn't insulted any of the assassins yet, lol.
All results thus far have been completely circumstantial. The end game list Rashida has requested I compile will spell everything out in detail. I cant say anything because as GM I must remain a completely neutral party. I've never seen a game quite like this myself either. I can assure you there are Assassins however.
If you want people to die I might suggest actually voting to lynch somebody.
I was totally kidding of course. That was a completely rhetorical accusation, lol.
Well, the rules say the protectors would know if they foiled the assassins, so hopefully somebody knows the assassins are out there. Cuz otherwise they are meeting up one after another, and that's no good. :S
I have every intention of starting this as soon as I get my internet back. Currently posti g thus from a tempramental phone that has issues with the boards. Should have access again next week.
How did I end up in So You Think You Can Dance: The RPG, I thought this was a Murder Mystery Tour?
The next one will be set in a bowling alley. People will be switching team shirts and gathering in little huddles at the bar and at the claw machine. When in Rome...
Taraz stroked the warm and noble kitty. He tried to do so firmly but with a gentle touch.
"Duchess, I truly admire the way you purr."
Rejected Draft #2:
The wastrel approached the noble kitty and rubbed her softly and vigorously. He scratched her, and she purred. Taraz enjoyed the vibration under his hands.
Rejected Draft #3:
Taraz knew exactly where to scratch the soft and noble kitty to bring forth the purr. The release of tension from him was almost audible.
Rejected Draft #4:
Taraz glanced at Rashida while he rubbed the kitty. Rashida was watching as Taraz made the Duchess purr with satisfaction, and Taraz smiled. It was obvious Taraz knew right where to scratch.
"Watching as Cassie makes her way to the buffet table, Vorian frowns, realizing that he, too, was quite famished. A momentary stride later and he finds himself with a bowl of some exquisitely exotic dish with a forgettable name."

Her names Cassie, don't forget it ;p
Who is also played by a dude. Its hard to mix that kind of imagery.
