Doom Comes to Dustpawn

Dalviss Crenn, ex-adventurer and proprietor of the Mineshaft Inn of Dustpawn (in eastern Isger, near the Drumish border) has sent an invitation to each of you, asking for aid. A meteor recently crashed somewhere in the hills, several miles to the south of Dustpawn, but Dalviss believes it to be a ship from the far reaches of space. The townsfolk scoff at his theory, and to save himself further ridicule, and get to the truth of the matter, Dalviss has turned to you to find the crash site.

Nothing too major. Are Cloak of the Dark Tapestry and a Handy Haversack okay gearwise?

Oh, and I left one of my feats open in preparation for the ACG Divine Grace feat if that is cool.

Sorry I didn't post earlier, I was at work earlier (I work most of the week and my schedule fluctuates) and got back recently.

I'm pretty comfortable with my character; but if there is any need/chance to "Tweak" him, please let me know and I'll do what I can.

What is the guidelines for Special Items? How does that work?

Rolling HP for you.

1d5 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 1 = 10
3d4 + 12 + 3 ⇒ (4, 4, 4) + 12 + 3 = 27

So your total hp are: 11+10+27= 48HP. Haha, The same as before (even with the wrong formula I gave you initially). ;)

You can take my rolls or you can roll your own. I think I did pretty good, though.

Yeah, was still thinking a staff. It'll be a very iconic part of the character, because Gii considers it another holy symbol, even if it isn't technically one.

Quick aside - is the Leadership Feat available later on?

@Paul: I wouldn't know where to begin honestly. I've never played a switch hitter before. If I have feats to spare it usually goes to skill focus or the like to make out of battle skills better and tend to focus on one thing in combat. Sorry I can't give any advice.

Well, I had considered swapping out some of the classes into more of a Lore/Tracker type rather than a more "martial type" like his is now.

I can go either way, part of what was going to guide my decision is what would help the party most.

Right now we have a cleric, paladin, summoner, oracle, "trickster" and (of course) then me.

Like I said, I'm flexible right now; just curious to know what you all think would help the most.


@Paul: I think we might hold off on adding any further characters to the game at this time as we have more than enough. We don't want to be dealing with someone's squire/1st level cohort as well at this stage. Sorry.

I've only got ~49gp left, otherwise I'd grab a Light Horse (Gii is a pretty small guy by adventurer standards, I think).

Hey guys, just got home recently.

I can't afford a horse, unfortunately.

I do like my special item, though. It's pretty cool :)

Still considering a possible tweak to the character; if it happens, it'll be adjusted soon. Though I'm not sure how it will go... so far I feel like we've got a lot of casters, I had thought of the Lore Character lean to be partial Bard so he can offer a few tweaks on Arcane Magic, but the current build is pretty good; just not sure how useful it will be in the long run.
