Silverpaw Hawkstorm |
The ship is an "Ark" of sorts or it was suppose to be. Before Earthfall the Azlanti buit it with magic and steel, something called tecknology. The Ark was designed to roam the darkness called the solar system. The Ark was never used because of a plague according to one text another text says a disaster from beyond the stars killed them. Still another says an old enemy from the past wiped them out. I suppose we will find our answers here. I know our first stop is suppose to be something called the "moon scar". Silverpaw tells the party as they get ready to explore.

Wow wow wow, what? We aren't on Golarian anymore? This ain't good. I've got a nobleman back home who has some items that um, has some items he need removed from his manor, so you can just go ahead and drop me off, or whatever, or weird light me back like you did me onto this thing.
crap, now in addition to the creepy guy, the cat, and the metal man, i'm on an "ark" and not on a planet anymore. Totally should have stayed in bed this morning.
Ash are we still flowing Amalgus down a hallway? Is it just a hallway or are there other passages leading off of it?
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 if necessary.

"This is clearly the avenue that Groetus has chosen to assist us on our mission. I believe we're heading to the moon! How long will this take? What do we need to do?"
Amalgus |
Amalgus moves slowly, pausing to scan and investigate many things along the way. He seems quite interested in mapping the layout of this 'ark'.
Can I get a description of our surroundings? I'd like to take a tour.
GM Ash |
The hallway is long and made of smooth metal. The hall is about 10 feet across from wall to wall. It is about 15 to the ceiling from the floor. The walls have a strange light source, that provides about 40% illuminatation. As the group moves down the hall there is a smell. It is the smell that is associated with ancient things. There is a slight hum coming from all around the hallway. As the group comes to halt there is a door. It appears to to be two doors each made of unknown metal, there is strange mechanical lock structure were a door knob would be. There is a strange light that off to the right that is blue.
DM Ashman |
The door slides open to a huge garden with a dome. The height is 50ft from floor to ceiling with a width of 250 across from wall to wall. Because of the fauna you cannot see the other side of the room. Above you the dome shows the stars streaking by the dome. As the group observes the garden you hear the tussling of the plants ahead. What do you do ?
Narration Voice |
Cut scene away from the Ark.
The ship starts to change its course to the Moon.
On the Moon there is room that is locked away that stats to hum. The portal in starts to shimmer. Outside of the door three figures hear the puddle.
We must wake him to tell him that the sign has come true The First voice says.
No we must wait for the Chosen one to come a Second voice counters the first.
We must wait the Third voice says...
So the figures wait....
In the distance there stands a dome within it lies a city full of the forgotten, the makers of the city had long ago left. The inhabitants of the city left after a thousand years of silence. They moved to a jungle area under that was created a long time ago. They wait for the Chosen one....

Bad news there something in the plants.
Good news Big metal man.
Bad news don't know what he can do.
Good news some plants might be familiar.
Bad news Some plants might fight back.
Good news, some plants have poison.
Better news, I like poison.
there's something in there. Silverpaw, are there dangerous things here?
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 for the thing moving, and if there is any cover in the immediate vicinity
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 if there is cover to hide behind.

There is more noise in the Garden then hissing sound as the door on far end opens then closes. As the group waits for 5 minutes there is no other sound in the area. The group notices there is a total of 4 doors in the garden area. The one they came in from the one that mysterious noise went out of and one each side.
How do you want to proceed ?
Amalgus |
"It appears there is another life form on board this ark. Without knowing its classification we are unable to determine the next logical course of action. Further investigation is required."
Amalgus moves slowly through the garden toward the door on the opposite wall.

I use some chalk to place an arrow pointing up next to the dorr we just walked though
I'm not wandering around the mystery ship alone, i'm following the big guy Ernst scampers to keep up with Nycah and draws the shortbow, just in case.
Speaking to Nycah Do you recognize any of these plants?
perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 looking at the plants.
The Cloaked One |
"We should continue to follow the golem. It was here before us and seems to know its way around."
