Morgan's shot just barely grazes Patchsalt's Lamellar armour and Genade also fails to hurt Kipper. Sandara stands at the bottom of the stairs and shoots her crossbow past Jerieth into Kipper's shoulder, He curses. Tilly runs up to Jord's side and helps against Patchsalt. Rosie climbs up by acrobatic stunt and swings her handaxe, wounding Kipper.

Reinald retreats, unable to wound Plugg anymore and wounded himself, makes it back to the others. Jerieth finishes the casting of her summoning spell then turns and lunges her rapier up at Kipper, wounding him in the leg (while continuing to inspire courage).

The celestial hawk appears behind Plugg and distracts him with its sharp talons. With a growl he turns with his cutlass and cuts it out of the air; the hawk, now unable to sustain its presence on this plain flashes back home. "After him Owlbear! They are traitors and must now forfeit their lives!" Owlbear looks towards Reinald and sees Jord, "Owlbear don't want hurt friend." Plugg yells back at him, "You don't have any friends! You are my slave, now kill them or it's the hotbox for you!" Owlbear runs in fear from Plugg towards Reinald and Morgan. "Owlbear not go in hotbox. You die, Owlbear sorry."

Kipper swings down at Jerieth with his two Kukri and slices a nasty wound in her arm (9 damage). "You blue freak witch. I'll teach you not to strike at me!" Scourge sends his whip out again at Tilly but she jumps over it, dodging the attempt to trip her up.

Jord and Patchsalt barely miss each other in a duel of blades and mace as the nimble gnome proves her combat prowess. "My blood or yours, the sea will be sated," she says to Morgan.

Sandara channels energy from the from the bottom of the stairs, the burst is mostly contained belowdeck but a portion of it shoots up the stairs healing Jerieth, Reinald and Sejanus(now conscious). Rosie and Tilly move in but Patchsalt still evades their attack.

"Eat fire!" Sejanus, freshly roused from unconsciousness, twiddles his fingers in a magical sort of way and a gout of fire bursts forth.

burning hands: 4d4 ⇒ (2, 3, 2, 3) = 10 fire damage in a 15' cone. I'm going to try to avoid hurting friendlies, but winning the fight is more important.


Might want to roll a concentration check though. You could take an AoO if you don't. You can avoid Tilly or you can avoid Rosie but you can't avoid both your allies.

The fight continues but Genade and Jerieth are unable to make any further marks on the enemy. Plugg appears in his doorway, stepping over the body of Aretta and aiming a crossbow. "Kill them all men. We don't need them anymore, our destination is mere days away."

"Friends help Owlbear. No hotbox!" Owlbear turns around and runs at Plugg and with a powerful blow(crit!) knocks the wind out of him. "Fine, I won't put you in the hotbox. I'll put you on the bottom of the sea!"

Kipper doesn't like being surrounded so he maneuvers back and attacks Genade(6 damage) and Rosie with his two Kukri. Scourge sees an opportunity and seizes it, moving in next to Rosie to flank with Kipper, sinking his hand-axe into her side and she cries out in pain.

With all his allies fighting and his bane enemy surrounded, Morgan realises he has no clear shot. Stepping back to get a clear shot on the Captain who now fight only with Owlbear, he launches 2 arrows in quick succession.
I think where I have moved to puts me clear of a cover penalty.
Would be nice to think that my first possible hit wouldn't roll a 1 for damage!!! We are taking a beating with nowhere to run!


Morgan there is a corner there between you and Plugg so +4 for him for cover. Remember you have precise shot so allies engaged in melee don't 'get in the way'. Corner or no, your first shot was JUST good enough.

Sejanus' flames fizzle in his hands and he realises he'll soon have a few blisters from that.

Morgan shoots Plugg leaving him clutching his hip, severely wounded now.

Tilly keeps trying to wear down Patchsalt with no progress and Rosie calls out for help and wounds Kipper though she is near to death herself. Sandara casts a spell and then rushes to Rosie's aid touching her with a healing spell. "Thanks Sandara." Genade tries to help in the fight but Kipper keeps him at bay.

Reinald and Jerieth both attack the gnome but she manages just barely to dodge all the attacks. "Worthy opponents all of you. I shall perform rituals over your bodies when this is over in your honour." Patchsalt says.

Plugg retreats into his quarters and closes the door before Owlbear can follow. Owlbear smashes on the door trying to break it down. "No more hotbox!"

Kipper looks angrily at Sandara providing healing for Rosie and strikes out fiercely at Rosie, Just die you ugly wench!" She is wounded and falls to the deck with a scream. "Who's next?" he says with a laugh. Master Scourge steps back and tries to trip Reinald but the whip cracks where his feet were just a moment ago.

The captain fled, Morgan swings his bow around to the other fight. Seeing Rosie go down, he looses 2 arrows, but snatches the shots, sending them wide.

Patchsalt grins as Jord steps away from him to nurse his wounds. "Surrender is acceptable." He focuses his attacks on Reinald leaving several bleeding cuts(10 damage), "Your turn." But just as he speaks he is awash in flames. Patchsalt, Tilly and Scourge all are hurt from the flames but they manage to avoid the worst of it. Tilly has her back to the rails and attacks Patchsalt as she tries to step away (towards Jord). A blinding golden light bursts out from Sandara and heals all those on deck(8 HP). "Your captain retreated, you're outnumbered. This fight is over. Accept Besmara's terms and live to fight another day." Reinald speaks straight after her and drives the point home.

Genade and Jerieth?

"Surrender? Oh, please don't! I haven't gotten to kill anyone today!" Genade sneers at his foes. Despite his words, he stays his blade and steps back from Kipper, waiting for a sign.5ft step foreward on the ship, ready action to attack anyone who approaches with hostile intent.


Kipper and Patchsalt look at Master Scourge for direction. "When Captain Harrigan finds out about this he will hunt you down. How about we let you off at the next port and you get as far away from the shackles as quickly as you can and you might have a chance at living." Scourge says to the mutineers. "You might have the upper hand here and now but it will be very short lived, mark my words."

What are the officers quarters on the Roll 20 map please? and is area outside any of the doors in big enough to accomodate a large person?
