Devil-spawn and Demon-taint: A Fiendish Take on Skull & Shackles

Press-ganged to serve aboard the Wormwood, the crew with the outsider's touch must struggle to stay alive long enough to sate their desire for revenge...
Deader:
Which deity do you follow? Doesn't need to be known by the character, just for my reference in case I want to use if for anything. (I'm happy to massage domains slightly to fit if needed.)
HP should be higher - as you're now a level 2 character.
Not sure if you adjusted your attributes - but I'd be happy for you to do so if you wanted to.
Skill points also look like they're only for a 1st level, so you can spread some love there.
And out of combat healing is usually the way to go in Pathfinder so if we can come up with a wand of cure light wounds at some point, we'll be in pretty good shape.

I don't think Deader knows what deity he follows. I think of his connection being more along the lines of a 3.5 Favored Soul than a normal priest. It's not so much that he chose a god to worship as it is that some god or outside power chose him (or, if he did chose a god, he doesn't remember it)
Of all of Pathfinder's gods, I think Azathoth is probably closest, though the story told by Cedrick could still work just fine.
I think I'll leave those details up to you. As a Dark Tapestry/Undeath cleric I'd imagine his deity is something Lovecraftian and madness inducing. I'm going to start working some kind of stargazing into his narrative which will be his version of "prayer".

Wait...
Looking through the pathfinder wiki, I see that the Dark Tapestry is a collection of gods. They can be worshiped as a pantheon. Even better, Cthulhu is actually listed in the wiki, complete with portfolio and domains.
Cthulhu is the patron of madness, dreaming in the sunken depths, sleeping in a city of corpses.

I'm thinking of re-skinning created/summoned undead as being once-living creatures twisted into things unrecognizable by the touch of the Old Ones.
I'm getting all kinds of neat ideas. Necromancy is usually about taking things that were once alive and reanimating them. This would be more like using eldritch power to twist things into abominations that defy the conventions of what it means to be 'alive". Less "Night of the Living Dead" and more "The Thing".
Man I wish the Alienist was still a viable prestige class.

Madness is another cool domain which would fit you perfectly or Madness with the Nightmare subdomain. Void(Dark Tapestry) is nice as well, but you seem more down the Madness/Nightmare/Insanity direction the way you have been playing your character. That way as you recall things, it could be like waking up from at terrible nightmare - that was real.
On a side note, as I haven't had a chance to actually meet the animal I havent been able to (non meta) buy into Animal Handling, may I buy a rank in it so that I'm not completley useless at handling my mutt when I get it? :p
Nachni should be all leveled up. She's definitely going to keep gathering information on crew members and trying to get them to our side. Will see about a post tomorrow.

I thought about that, but I don't particularly like the abilities and spells granted by the Madness domain.
As a cleric with a lower than average spell-casting stat, it's better to pick spells that don't allow or require saves. Basically all the madness spells are Save Negates.
I think the Dark Tapestry domain is good enough in terms of granting crazy-based powers.
Cedrick - yep, no problem with banking a skill point away to whip out when you meet your canine companion.
Deader - Cthulu is indeed a solid choice, and I wouldn't have problems with reskinning of abilities / summons to suit otherworldly entities from behind the curtain.
Technically the closest water would be in the kitchen, though there are a couple of other means in the main hold to kill a small fire available (canvas and such). As you were actively trying to make the fire spread I'll be taking that into consideration moving forward.

Welcome back, you returned just in time for whatever is going to happen next. DMVoV has been silent for a day or so, but I would expect updates before long.
Welcome back Fish, and updates will be incoming tonight my time. Had an epic day at work followed by an evening of musical theatre so didn't get a chance for many posts yesterday.
Cedrick has been rather politely biding his time to start getting even, Hornblower on the outside, Swearengen on the inside... first start to bring the crew onside, then show Jerky-man is weak and losing control, and now starting to cut off his eyes and ears (and hands).
You know, I liked the fact that the dice gods helped us -I am certainly unaccustomed to their favor- and gave the scene a nice feeling of turning the tables. Not to mention making two supposed warriors and killers actually look like that for a change by going into a mini-blitzkrieg and quickly and efficiently dispatching their foes.
Aaand another body ends up being served up on a platter to Cedrick and Joneth. With Deader and Obisyth in varying degrees of trouble for disobeyance of orders (plus... you know setting the ship on fire and all) this should make for a very very interesting denoument.
Cedrick is happy to leave it at two, but if this isn't going to work then he is more than happy to go again, no point needlessly killing too many people.
Tis a pity that there probably isn't much cooking oil left on Deader when Obisyth dumps water on him... Otherwise I could have fun with how the attempt to help is actually a hindrance ;)
As in, putting water on an oil fire doesn't put it out... it just spreads the fire around - or makes a flaming volcano if you attempt it on a burning pot of oil.
But the fire on Deader is more likely just from his clothes by now as he smeared most of the oil off on the way over.
Perhaps a good day to have crow's nest duty? Nachni is staying put up there for now. She sees no advantage in disobeying orders and leaving her post given that it would undoubtedly take too long to get belowdeck and she really has little clue what is going on.
DM Suffered a slight critical existence failure when travelling to the East side of Malaysia. Combination of 11 hour work days turning into 15 hour work days and a complete failure of internets at the hotel.
Not pirates fortunately - but was ensconced here - which we didn't get to by helicopter... but via this method which is basically jumping from a ship that's moving up and down up to a meter with the swell onto a static platform - fun.
In game update incoming... though am presently typing one handed with baby on chest.
