The party advances down the northern passage in the caverns, with the bunny ranger keeping his eyes open for any more signs of trouble. Layers of sand coat the floor, kicking up into little clouds as the party walks across it.

There's a pair of bat-eared, purple-furred creatures hiding among the rocks of the cavern walls--they're holding jagged slivers of metal and snickering to themselves, ready to pounce on you as you pass.

Sia advanced with her friends staying towards the back of the group and making sure to step only where one of them had stepped safely. She wasn't keen on running into and triggering one of the traps that was mentioned.

Alas, no one in the party has time to react to the bat-eared, purple-furred beastie that leaps, cackling, out of the darkness to stab the bunny with a sharp piece of metal!

The sharp piece of metal goes straight into Inlé's booted foot. The tiny gremlin giggles with malicious glee.

Inlé looks down at his stabbed foot and then back up at the creature before narrowing his eyes. "Yeah, you're gonna die." he says before swinging.

Inlé speaks the truth. His sword slices into the gremlin's neck with brutal efficiency. Although there's some resistance at first, the blade goes all the way through and separates the creature's head from the rest of it, sending dark brown blood spurting every which way.

Ducking the large swing of the big sword he darted forward and jabbed at the creature with his quarterstaff even as the rabbits blade seemed to cut more than a big chunk from the creature.

Celen rushes the second gremlin hiding in the back, chuckling at its partner's gruesome demise. It chuckles even more when it ducks underneath the priest's staff swing.

The little ankle-biter jabs at him with a jagged bit of metal...

Damage: 1d3 - 4 ⇒ (1) - 4 = -3

...and only succeeds at giving him a bruise before it giggles like mad.

Eyes narrowing at the situation, Edynn focusing assessing the distance and angle with those in combat ahead of her. Drawing her handaxe, she sends the melee weapon tumbling end over end, past Inle and Celen, to slam into the goblin creature.

With another gremlin still attacking Celen, Sialea focused on where the tiny menace was and made sure she was between Waffles and her target. As she focused on thoughts of solid magical force and emotions of pain, bundling it together she sent a missile of solid psychic magic flying out. Much like earlier it zipped around bodies, between legs and ears, and slammed into the gremlin foe.

Edynn's axe hits the gremlin squarely in the head, and it gets pushed in deeper by Sia's force missile. The beast falls over dead, its blood soaking into the sandy floor.

There's another tripwire in the passage to the party's right. It stretches across the floor, and looks like it's linked to dozens of jagged metal pieces affixed to the ceiling.

He pat where the creature tried to stab him with a slight frown. He was out of pratice with his studied arts obviously. He would have to work on that. He glanced back towards waffles and Inle, grasping the his holy symbol and letting positive energy flow out to heal everyone

Reopening his eyes he continued to look about, more of the little things were bound to be about.

"Another trip wire.. here by this passage." He called carefully moving towards it and using his quarterstaff to point it out (but keeping the end of it a good six inches away.)


Waffles is very appreciative of Celen's healing. His nose stops bleeding and returns to its natural shape.

"Thanks." Edynn replies, pulling her axe out of the goblin's skull and cleaning it off. Following Celen, she nods as he indicates the tripwire, making sure to step clear of it.


The party safely crosses the cave without triggering the tripwire, and continues onward to the heart of the gremlin nest.

A veritable mountain of scrap and junk is piled in the centre of this surprisingly large cavern. The sounds of giggling and manic chittering fill the air, followed by the *clanking* and rattling of jagged metal being shifted around. Sitting atop the mountain of scrap is a larger gremlin than the group gathered at the pile's feet, a crown of spiky, rusted metal sitting atop its oversized brow.

The king gremlin glares at the party as they enter, pointing a finger at Inlé in particular and jabbering angrily. The other gremlins in the cavern turn, meaningfully twirling little pieces of metal.

Edynn's boot connects squarely with the gremlin's ribs with an audible *CRUNCH*. She feels a flash of pain in her foot--it feels like she just kicked a rock. The gremlin doubles over and collapses, blood pooling around its carcass.

The gremlin king yaps angrily at Edynn and leaps at her, a sharp sword appearing in its tiny hands!

The blade gets stuck in her leather coat without hurting her.

"Nice!" he calls out as Edynn jellies one of the Gremlins. Hopping up he slashes back at the king with his much larger sword.

Inlé's sword hits the gremlin king, cutting a deep gash across its chest. His sword doesn't bite as deep as it should, however.

With the sudden onset of hostilities Sia made to put herself between Waffles and the gremlins. She liked the little creature and didn't want to see him get harmed and gestured to the creature as she said, "Stay behind me Waffles." With that done she focused once more and sent an added burst of energy into it as she sent the bolt of force, now larger than normal, to slam into the goblin king.

1 phrenic point to use focused force on my magic missile.

Sia's missile of force streaks towards the gremlin king... and bounces off its head. Its skin ripples where the missile struck.

He grabbed his holy symbol and channeled a blessing using Nethys affinity with magic to bless his companions with accuracy and more courage.

Casting Bless, +1 to hit, +1 to saves versus fear

He too readied the quarterstaff and stepped in front of Waffles, the poor guy wasnt ready to be a combat lantern yet.


The three remaining normal gremlins leap at Inlé, brandishing more chunks of metal and stabbing at him. One of them teleports behind him!

Moving to maneuver the gremlin king between herself and Inlé Edynn brings her elbow smashing down on the gremlin king's head.

Agravated at the agility and resilience of the gremlin king to her magic Sia pulled free her sling and put a bullet into it as she stepped back. She began to whirl it around and around and then let the projectile fly at the nearest gremlin.

Taking a cue from Sialea, he pulls out his crossbow and fires at the goblin she let loose on.

Celen's shot flies over everyone's heads.

The gremlins keep up the attack, with one of them stepping away from Inlé before teleporting behind Edynn to stab her...

One of the gremlins manages to stab Inlé in the back of his leg. And the gremlin who teleported behind the android almost drops his metal shard after over-extending on his stab.

Glancing quickly over her shoulder, Edynn shifts her weight, one foot shooting back to drive a kick into the teleporting gremlin's ribcage.

Edynn feels the gremlin's ribs shatter and crumple underneath her kick. The little beast drops into the dirt as a sickening *sucking* noise fills the air.

The gremlin king stabs at Edynn again...

Damage: 1d3 - 2 ⇒ (1) - 2 = -1

...and finally manages to land a blow. Edynn feels the sword nick her elbow.

Tired of getting stabbed and constantly missing the King, Inlé turns his blade on one of the non-royal gremlins.

The annoyed bunny's blade slices through the gremlin behind him like it's made of parchment, killing it in one strike.

With little fighting left to do Sia was content to wait now. It was best to let those more...physically oriented, deal with the remaining gremlin.
