Seeing the new menace, Baldric rushes in the opposite direction the crowds are traveling... making his way around the well and wagons and moves to place himself between the crowds and the goblins as best he can. double move, it looks like to Q12 maybe As he draws close he levels his guisarme and prepares himself to make use of it...

Please be foolish enough to attack me.

Unsure as to if he actually hit the one in the burning tent, Satinder's ears shift to the commotion to the left of him. Immediately noticing a much larger group of goblins, he relocates and fires another arrow towards this new group.

Okay, I see how you do it then. It was honestly confusing not seeing that I hit it out of character, but getting a perception check instead lol. I kinda like that actually, it's definitely a lot different from a lot of GM's I've played under. Anyways, on to the actions! I'll move down two squares and fire at T7, the center odd one in that < formation. Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Travok turns to Zwain and mumbles, "You know, I think it's been at least a decade since I even saw a Goblin last but I just remembered why I hate them so much...Come on! Someone has to get between the townsfolk and the goblins!"

He rushes closer to the crowd while drawing his shield to get ready for close combat and shouts out "Move into the church! Hurry now before they get a hold of you! Get behind me! Run to the church!" He felt it was unlikely that the crowd would hear him in the chaos, but if only he could get a few to do as he suggested, perhaps more would follow.

With combat seemingly over, Vikh was about to conclude his blood-stirring song as soon as the verse was finished. Though when the goblins sang their hateful little song, he seamlessly kept it going on to the next verse, continuing his rousing song for any and all to share in the conjured rage!

Running toward the newest combatants, he kept his mighty greatsword held high in anticipation of the kill.

Round 4 Order: Vikh, Baldric, Zwain, Satinder, Travok, Rhiannon, Crowd, goblins

Vikh leaps down the cathedral steps and races around the platform stage singing his raging song all the while. (By my count you can go to O16) Baldric races past the Shoanti singer and edges himself closer to the goblin threat, ready to slash one with his long pole arm. Zwain contemplates going and stomping out the fires, but then the sounds of the goblins reach his ears and he hesitates.(Delay Action) Satinder shuffles down the stage to gain a better line of sight and lets an arrow fly at the goblins but the wind catches it and hit turns down and harmlessly hits the dirt. Travok hoist his shield and orders the crowds to seek sanctuary leading Zwain away from the stage ready to fight. (Zwain's Delayed Action) Rhiannon pulls her blade and follows after Baldric, coming up behind the Shoanti singer. As the fires continue to rage, the crowds rush away from the goblins, some headed towards the church others towards the well. Some see the priest and start to form a fire brigade.

The goblins advance. The first sees the dwarf and rushes across the plaza and takes a harmless swing at Travok. The second advances on Bladric, but is cut down before he can get close to the warrior. A third moves in and takes a swing at Baldric, misses but it's presence panics the crowd around Baldric. (Baldric at -1 on all rolls while still in that crowd marked square) Two more goblins rush across the plaza towards the dwarf, while the last runs along the shops headed north east with a gleeful cackle.

Sorry, Forgot you had Combat Reflexes. Yes you can take that AoO

EDIT for the above post...

A third moves in and takes a swing at Baldric, and he cuts it down like the first. Two more goblins rush across the plaza towards the dwarf, while the last runs along the shops headed north east with a gleeful cackle.

I'm not going to re do the map here, but it is dead in R9. Also the Crowd is not panicked so you are not affected by the -1 roll penalty.

male Human, Slayer 1

I know Vikh is supposed to go first, but he said he wasn't feeling well so in order to keep things moving I'll act out of turn... if I happen to be in the area of his song his let it wash over me, but I suspect I won't be (I'm not sure because I can't access the current map)

Baldric rushes after the the lone goblin that is cackling and heading toward the well. As soon as it is in range of his heavy polearm, he attempts to cut it down before it can cause any mischief.

Everything seemed chaotic to Travok, he couldn't remember ever being in a fight inside a crowd before. Zwain's shouting and Vikh's singing just added to it and he fought the urge to join in on the wild rage. The goblin had rushed him quicker than he anticipated and he was left without a weapon. With a face full of Goblin he decided the best thing to do was to make do with what he had, at least he had his shield. He clenched his gauntleted fist and tried to give the Goblin a face full of dwarf to return the favor. By Torag he hated Goblins.

Vikh belts our his raging song and presses his way through the crowd. (30 ft to move to S15) His greatsword easily makes the goblin into two halves instead of one whole. Baldric maneuvers around the tent and strikes another goblin down, stabbing it in the back with his pole arm.

Satinder takes aim and lets another arrow fly striking the closest goblin with yelps in pain as the arrow finds flesh. Travok tries to punch the goblin in the face, but it just gives the dwarf a creepy wide smile and ducks under the stout fist.

Zwain takes a bow as the two goblins gleefully sit down and start applauding him. Rhiannon dashes through the crowd and gets behind (Flanking) one and swipes at it with her blade. She misses and it no longer is fascinated by the mage.

The crowd contends to move away from the fight, some heading to help put out the fire, others rushing towards the doors of the cathedral.

The foul goblin song continues ...
Goblins race and goblins jump
Goblins slash and goblins bump
Burn the skin and mash the head
Goblins here and you be dead!

I hope it will help you role-play combat choices and healing decisions during play.

Baldric turns back toward the center of the square to see what the remaining 2 goblins are up to, and finds that his ward is in combat...

You have got to be kidding, he thinks with a wry chuckle, this job was supposed to be nothing more than some free drinks and a place to sleep! And not only am I fighting goblins, I had to pay for everyone's drinks...

He rushes across the square just south of the fleeing crowd and takes advantage of his height and the length of his weapon to strike at the goblin from the other side of Rhiannon. assuming that killed it... as the goblin is still collapsing, he quickly moves next to Vikh's corpse and engages the remaining enemies. move to Y17, where I threaten the three remaining enemies (that might grant the hypnotized goblin-dog a new save, sorry).

guisarme: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20; for: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 = 10

Top of round 10

"Oh, la naiba!" Baldric exclaims, shaking his head, "You foolish girl..."

Varisian:
"Oh, $hit!"

"SOMEONE RUN INSIDE AND FETCH THAT CLERIC" he bellows "HIS SERVICES ARE NEEDED!"

As he shouts he swings hard at the last remaining dog, hoping to bring this colossal mess to a close...

power attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 aaaaand... nevermind...
potentially doing: 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (2, 4) + 9 = 15

Baldric frowns as he misses terribly... his mind turns momentarily to his old conditioning drills as he considers how long this fight has lasted and wonders if he needs to do more conditioning... the dog's snarling quickly restores his focus though and he takes a step back so that the stupid creature will have to risk an attack of opportunity if it wants to engage him... 5' step to X17. power attack is active so if it provokes my attack will be at +4 to hit, for 2d4+9

Zwains tears fall to the dirt, much like his weakly lobbed ball of acid.

END ROUND
TOP of 10

Baldric makes an effort, but his luck seems to have failed him this time as he fails to strike the last enemy and moves back out of the immediate threat. Satinder hears the warrior's call for help and leaps of the stage and runs into the church looking for someone who might be able to help. Rhiannon's wounds clot, but she remains unconscious on the ground in front to the savage goblin dog. It bounds after Bladric, who quickly drops his blade on the approaching creature. It's skull is split open as the man being dragged behind it cries out in pain.

END OF COMBAT

Rhiannon Stabilize Roll: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 1 - 2 = 10
Power AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 Damage: 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (3, 1) + 9 = 13

If 60 seconds has worn you out, you defiantly need more conditioning. A lot can happen in a minute of combat

ooc response:
lol- I don't think he's actually winded or anything... He was just having an uncharacteristic moment of self-doubt after missing so terribly ;)
