The crack of Dr Lendaro's pistol reverberates through the chamber. "Ha... even the rotting vegetation is after us."

Rakdon and Rosa are only sickened once. I'm just reminding you.

Rosa's Fire Bolt shoots off past the blob and strikes a far away stalactite. It loosens it enough so that it falls into the water with a crash.

Dr. Lendaro turns his attention to Rosa's blob, and fires with a clear shot. His bullet pierces through fungus, mold, and rot. You hear air hiss from the creature as it deflates and sinks beneath the water, dead.

Tarphesh, Rakdon and Tetsuda have an action. The mounds are adjacent to Tetsuda and Tarphesh.

With Tarphesh now engaged Tetsuda attacks the fungus trying to sink his mandibles into the fungus. It appears as if his aim is true with a weak delivery.

Tetsuda plunges his mandibles into one of the mounds pulling green foliage from its body.

Tarphesh cleaves through with his greatsword. The ooze deflates and sinks beneath the water.

The last fungus mound stretches its body and swings at Tetsuda.

slam Tetsuda: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 141d3 ⇒ 1

The jelly mass bounces off Tetsuda's hard shell.

It is Linpul's turn. Afterwards, everyone else may act.

Female Gnome Hunter 6; Init +2; Per +13 low-light; AC 20/13 T/18 FF; HP 40/40; F +6, R +7, W +4

Ah, Linpul simply moves forward and climbs down, it's the same action economy as falling the 5 ft and landing prone since that's how falling works.

Moving as quickly as her little legs will take her, the gnome plants her lucerne hammer down the ledge and does a quick scramble down.

Climb: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 1 = 10

Linpul sees the remaining fungus mound strike Tetsuda and wobble in aftershock. She also sees two leftover blobs mostly sunken in the water.

It is everyone's turn besides Linpul. One blob remains adjacent to Tetsuda.

"I have no understanding of abominations such as these. My one suggestion would be to stop letting them touch you." Dr Lendaro swaps his pistol to his left hand, and draws his rapier.
He stabs at the air between the nearest blob and himself while struggling with his footwork... "this terrain is unacceptable for proper fighting..."

rapier: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Tetsuda pierces through the jelly of the last fungus mound. As it dies, a small cloud of green particles floats over the corpse.

The battle is over.

Rosa sits down if she can on a rock, or leans on the wall, she throw up again, then wipes her face with a cloth.

"The whole bloody place is out to make me sick, lets get out of the Demons A** hole of a cave and somewhere less pestilent."

After taking a few moments to recover, you all try to climb up the five foot ledge, instead of taking the water path, moving deeper into the cavern.

A collection of stalactites and stalagmites choke this low-ceilinged cavern, making it difficult to squeeze between them. Matching stalactites close in from the five-foot-high ceiling, giving the impression of a maw of needlelike teeth bearing down on one another. A dead half-orc sprawls on the ground near the cave's eastern entrance.

Local 10: Who is that?:
The half orc is Parda. She joined the thug's expedition, but was a generally nice person and friend to many people in Torch. Parda was a popular brawler in town. It might be a good idea to bring her back to town for proper burial.

Heal 12 : What killed her? :
She has several short-bladed stab wounds, mostly in the back. It is likely this is what killed her, or bleeding to death.

Perception 10 : Search the body:
Her body has already been looted. Her clothes are all that she has left.

Lin had already seen the half orc but knew nothing of her. It was a shame hearing that she was a local. Who would stab somebody in the same expedition?

"When we are done in these caves we should bring her back to town. I don't think I ever met her but I'm sure her friends would like some peace of mind about their friend."

Dr Lendaro raises an eyebrow at Lady Rosa's words, then looks at the rock formation. "I'll not rule that out of the realm of possibilities....
I was assuming a dagger or other blade. However, considering how many interesting ways we have already found to die, more the pity to go so mundanely.
"

He nods to Linpul "I would agree."

As Rosa passes the body of the half orc she stops a moment and places her hand on it.

"May you find yourself in whatever afterlife you believed in."

She then moves on, as if nothing had happened.

Rosa, Dr. Lendaro, and Tarphesh have to stoop down to move in the smaller cave.

You move to the next area.

A dark cavern opens up here, its twenty-foot- high ceiling thick with stalactites. A rocky shore overlooks a placid pool and stream, fed by a trickle of water leaking from a narrow fissure to the north. A small garden of toadstools and dark mold grows along the banks.

A small humanoid creature with white skin peers at you with white eyes through a small leather hood. On the hood is scrawled a single word. It looks like some kind of large humanoid frog.

Undercommon:
The word is pet.

"Well..." Dr Lendaro vaguely points to the hood "If it has the decency to dress itself, it must have some amount of intelligence.", as he loads his pistol.

"You are outnumbered. I suggest you let us pass without provoking us. Our methods of self-preservation have proven to be deadly to your cavern chums."

He steps forward... "Move along now."

The frog thing lets out a croak that echoes across the cavern. It flashes sharpened teeth at the doctor. You see claws on its webbed hands and feet.

Slightly behind the frog and bobbing in the water is what looks like a body. As ripples of water crash against it, you can see that it is missing some of its extremities.

"That thing stands guard over the dead or is feeding, if its feeding"

Rosa flips her sword onto her back, where the clamp device holds it in place, silver light shimmers down the veins of her armour. She pulls out her whip and lets it splay out along the floor, then with arm swing around her head, she sends out out in to the air where there is a.

This one has been bugging me, how does Rosa have whip prof? Asmodeus' chosen weapon is the heavy mace therefore you get heavy mace proficiency. If it's Diabolism as from Faiths and Philosophies then that grants no proficiencies of any kind. Regardless I think we can walk past without upsetting the little beastie. Tetsuda holds action until next turn unless the creature attempt to attack me.

"I think we can leave it alone. Tetsuda defend me if it attacks me. In the meantime let's keep moving."

Linpul double moves, keeping it within reach of her lucerne hammer. If it dares to strike her Tetsuda will intercept with a charge.

Acid flies from Rakdon's hand. It misses the small frog creature and splashes into the water behind him.

Tetsuda having dealt with the frog thing attempts to strike back.

Tetsuda Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 +2 more to hit if flanking

Tetsuda's bite will not be striking home but maybe her hammer will.

Lucerne Hammer: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 181d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 +2 more to hit if flanking.

"Take this you ugly frog thing, I do not like my friends being blinded... nor do I like being blinded."

Tetsuda lunges to bite the frog, but the amphibian monstrosity raises its feet to dodge. Linpul's hammer crashes into the frog thing's face, pushing it to the side. A mix of spittle and blood flies from the creature's mouth and falls into the pool.

The blindheim looks like it is in serious pain. Its left side is bleeding profusely and a large bruise covering nearly all of the left side of its face is a deep purple.

Rakdon's acid splashes into the blindheim's bright eyes, blinding it for a second. It hisses and with flailing claws tries to wipe it away.

Tetsuda bites the frog while its distracted taking a chunk of its white flesh.

The frog lets out one final croak before it sinks down to the floor dead.

Battle is complete.

Rakdon, Tetsuda and Linpul notice something in the distance. Beyond the frog creature's corpse, bobbing in the water, is the top half of a body.

Also when people are blind, you should probably tell them what's happening. Lol.

I take it this Blindness wares off, if not we all heading back to town, and a very short game this will be.

As Rosa's sign slowly comes back she looks around, Dead frog, some body's or some such, and a hurt bug.

She then walks over to Rakdon and with a curt swift move of her hand clips the Ratfolk at the back of his head, like one would a child.

"Next time you attack with out warning, something we are trying to get around without a fight and I personally cut your limbs off and let you fight it with only your bad breath, Do You understand!"

She looks him hard in the eyes, wile holding a very big sword, so he understands she means every word she just said.
