You’re not quite sure how things have escalated so quickly.

One minute you’ve decided to do something about Torch’s problems, the next you’ve found likeminded individuals, people of all types: adventurers who have heard of the town’s plight, or townsfolk themselves, and have formed a group at the Town Hall.

In front of you is Dolga Freddert, a dwarven aristocrat, one of the five councilmen and councilwomen of Torch. It’s been a few days since all the trouble started.
She looks at all of you, assessing you with sharp eyes while stroking the adamantine warhammer on her lap, and snorts.

"Well, well, well. What have we here? Another group of adventurers to try their luck at fixing our town. If it were up to me, I’d go solve the problem myself, but,"
she looks at all the empty desks beside hers,"everyone is either missing or unavailable, leaving me to do all the leading."

"The main thing, of course, is to find Khonnir Baine and bring him back alive. There’s 4000 gp in it for you. If you can also rekindle the flame, well, I’ll throw in another 4000 gp. Any questions?"

She had been waiting days, seeing the town panic, the brave head off never to be seen again. She had kept back, waiting until they called the meeting. She had been sent here a week before, her mission was simple, odd things where afoot in Torch, chaotic things, possibly demonic things. She was to get to the bottom what was going on, if demons then deal with them. She was given moneys and sent on her way. Now the day of the meeting, she waited until the talk was over then.

A hooded form to one side moves, there is a clattering sound as if hooves walked on the stones under foot. It stops, questions are being asked by others of dolga-freddert, teams are forming. The tall one now reaches up and pulls down it's hood then opens it's cape.

There at 7.1 stands a hell spawn, female, her clothing, black, red and silver steel, with the symbol of Asmodeus on her breast Armor. Armor that is intricately made Armor of silver red and black scales. Her skin silver and finely scaled, On her back a black cold iron great sword with red blood runes. A tool used in the hells for killing demons. Her white hair animated, her silver orb eyes surveying the room. In a clear hard voice she says, harsh over the questions and muttering.

"I am the Lady Rosa Luminnuss, priestess of hells king, Asmodeus, who will join me in collecting this reward. An even share of all that's gained in wealth as dictated by contract law. Each one who joins me gets 20 gold right here as a signing bonus and, as a sign of also of good faith."

She giggles a small pouch of coins.

"Do not wast my time if you are weak or feeble, or fear doing what ever is needed, I seek only the strong of body and mind! come see me if you are such."

That said she turns and walks over to a table, she sits down, waiting to see who comes.

The hilt of a weapon can be seen over the heads of many of the people int he crowd. Pushing her way forward to the front a little girl appears through the crowd. At a second glance while small, she is no human child. The eyebrows give it away, and shortly after she gently tugs on the leash in her hand and a beetle the size of her appears. Seemingly incredibly well armed with several weapons on her or tucked under her coat the gnome steps forward.

"Come on Tetsuda, we are finding Mr. Baine. Oh and you can keep your signing bonus but I will kindly take my fair share of the four thousand when we succeed."

Moving forward she jumps up onto a chair, leans down and scratches the beetles horn.

A large half orc steps in behind the small gnomish woman. Though quite tall he's a tiny bit shorter than the weird demonic woman. Wearing a suit of armor made of dull metal scales and carrying both a very large sword and shortbow.

"I agree with the lil' miss here, I will go and find Khonnir no matter what. I'll gladly take my share of the 4000 but I do not need the devil's money."

He owed Khonnir as much after taking him in so many years ago. The man could be in danger, probably was actually, and that meant he needed saving.

Rose looks at the gnome and smiles.

"Nice beetle, if you could just sign here."

She holds out a simple contract of joint venture, typical with no hidden closes. In fact it has the scribes name and address on it. Rosa's names is already on it.

"Don't worry I did not write it, you want be signing away your soul, it's a simple mercantile enterprise contract written by a scribe in town. It's just I like thing legal."

She holds out a silver point pen, the ink is red but not blood.

"You can sign in blood if you like, not much point but I know some like to"

She looks up at the Orc, her smile gets wider.

"If you wish me to keep my Devils money I will, but you sir, your just the kind of fellow we need in or venture company, I bet you cut deep with that sword of yours, much like my own. Sign up, join us."

As she says this a young man come up to her side, he has two of his fellows standing some way off looking on, all of them spotty fasted farm boys, in a voice that sounds just broken he asks .

"Can I.."

"CRUNCH!"

His eyes go wide and holding his manhood falls over dubbed up. It seems that Rosa's armoured fist found it's way to his crutch. Looking down at him with a pain look.

"No you may not!"

Then she looks back to her new fellow trailers.

To speed things up a little bit and give you discussion…

How long ago did the flame go out?:

"It's been eight days, but only seven since the first explorers braved the new tunnels Khonnir discovered. Khonnir himself led his second foray into the caves just a couple of days ago-and he has yet to return."

Where's the entrance to these caves?:

"There's an underwater passage connecting them to Weeping Pond. Khonnir noticed a large number of human footprints on the pond's banks-he was there the day the fires went out testing the water to ensure it hadn't suddenly grown more toxic-and he realized that a sizable group of people had entered the pond but had not emerged.

Who made those tracks? :

"We don't know. Word about town puts blame on the Technic League, but I think that's too convenient and obvious an answer. Khonnir was hoping to find out more by delving deeper into the caves, but who knows what he found in there ... or indeed, if he's even still alive?"

How many explorers have gone into the caves before us?:

"Four teams in all, but only one came back to report what they found-Khonnir's first expedition. Khonnir spoke at length with the council before going back in, and he confirmed what his group told us, despite how outlandish it sounded. The first team was a group of halfling adventurers, the second a group of local thugs, and the fourth a small adventuring party devoted to the worship of Brigh from out of town. Khonnir's team undertook the third and fifth expeditions under Black Hill, and it was on the fifth expedition-his second trip-that he went missing."

What did they find? :

"The caves are inhabited by several enormous vermin and other scavengers, along with some strange humanoids who had the ability to blend into the shadows of the cave walls, and a nest of gremlins. Khonnir believed this indicated a deeper connection in the caves to the Darklands, but of more immediate interest was his discovery of a wall of solid metal deep in the caves. A wall made of a skymetal alloy called glaucite. He said it was like the kind we mine from the hills and surrounding plains, but formed into a structure with doors. It was near one of these doors that Khonnir found the broken automaton that he brought back after his first expedition."

What do we know about the metal wall? :

"Very little. Khonnir examined it himself, and confirmed that it was an alloy of adamantine and iron, and that one of the doors in the wall was locked tight but the other was open. He had planned on exploring deeper beyond that door on his second expedition, but who knows if he actually made it that far?"

What assistance can you provide us? :

“Once you're on the job, I'll give each of you a writ that you can show to any of the merchants in town for a flat 20% discount on any gear you need to purchase-I wish I could offer a greater discount than that, but that's the best I can do. Further, Val, Khonnir's adopted daughter, has closed down her father's tavern, the Foundry, for the time being. She's told me that any group that's going into the caves to look for her father can use the tavern, free of charge, as a headquarters and a place to rest between forays. Finally, the entrance to the caves is flooded. You'll need to swim a bit to get to the caves. Joram Kyte has agreed to cast water breathing on any group to aid in entering the caves-free of charge, of course. You can find him at the temple of Brigh or up at Crowfeather Palace when you're ready to go."

Of course, don’t read if no one asks the question.

Rolling her eyes at the contract and pen, Linpul waves her hand and shakes her head.

"Ah, a contract. I hope you will respect my choice not to sign it. Last time I signed something I did'nt read I was getting mail for about 2 years."

She explains.

"Plus if Mr. Baine figured out I went into the caves without his permission I'd be in big trouble. I'd rather not leave a paper trail."

Harvell Lendaro does not look like the adventuring sort. At the moment - by appearance and demeanor - he looks like an old scholar in a roguish masquerade costume. He wears well-worn light leather pants and vest, with a crisp white shirt. He has several pouches on a low slung wide belt, and what looks like a metallic hand crossbow without the "bow part".

Questions

As the Doctor signs Rosa asks.

"Where's may I ask, is the entrance to these caves?"

"There's an underwater passage connecting them to Weeping Pond. Khonnir noticed a large number of human footprints on the pond's banks-he was there the day the fires went out testing the water to ensure it hadn't suddenly grown more toxic-and he realized that a sizable group of people had entered the pond but had not emerged."

"Did he now, and who did he say made those tracks?"

"He did not say and we don't know. Word about town puts blame on the Technic League, but I think that's too convenient and obvious an answer. Khonnir was hoping to find out more by delving deeper into the caves, but who knows what he found in there ... or indeed, if he's even still alive?"

"So you do not know it is not the Technic League be behind this after all then, interesting, one more thing, What assistance can you provide us? In the way of goods and such"

Looking around two other groups can be seen.

“Once you're on the job, I'll give each of you a writ that you can show to any of the merchants in town for a flat 20% discount on any gear you need to purchase-I wish I could offer a greater discount than that, but that's the best I can do. You can find him at the temple of Brigh or up at Crowfeather Palace when you're ready to go."

"O we are on the job Miss, never fear, for the good of the town and all that, I will be over in just a short wile for that writ you offered."

Rosa says this wile leaning into to Linpul and whispering to the Gnome.

"As you wish, your word is your bond. Now as soon as you can get yourself over to that tavern as fast as you can, get us the best rooms before the rush starts, if you don't we will be sleeping in the stables. Also take one of the others and also find out just what this Val knows about what her adopted father was up to."

Once said she leans back up again.

Then in a clear loud voice she calls out to all left in the room not in a group.

"I seek one more to join us, is there another brave soul, ready to risk all for fame, money and a good course, come on this poor towns people need your help. Well meaning and able help, let's not disappoint them, because of fear, Stand up, risk it all and take what's yours "

She looks around the room hoping, As she dos the two friends of the farm boys now whimpering on the floor to her side. Come over to drag there comrade away, as they bend to pick the teen up, Rosa still with a smile on her face for the throng, says out the side of her mouth.

"If I see you three village cretins again, I will gut you alive and make skipping ropes from your intestines. New get home and leave real adventuring to the grown ups, go on.., there's is a cow some place that needs milking."

They hurry up and are soon lost to sight, heading for the door.

Rosa seeing the Doctor done, smiles at him, and says.

"Kids, you got to love them, little scamps that they are"
She says this with an approximation of a caring adult smile, it's a very close approximation almost there.

"So how about, once I have one more, you and me head over and see this Joram Kyte at the temple of Brigh, I do so like a Temple, and I bet he has some ideas about what has been going on here abouts."

Saying this Rosa looks around again to see if they have a taker for the last position.

Tarphesh places a hand on the fiend's shoulder, pulling her back as she once more intimidates the children, "I think that'll be enough. Just leave those children be or I'll arrange it so they won't even let you sleep in the stables."

He lets go of her shoulder before turning to Linpul, "Are we sure we want to do this? She seems just as bad if not worse than those Technic League scumbags. I'm not sure if I want to expose Val to her, she has enough on her mind as is." All three of them did but Val seemed to be hit the hardest by Khonnir's disappearance.

As far as staying at the inn goes, Tarphesh lives and works there so for him it's quite easy.

Let's give Rakdon some time. Either I'll move the story forward with him joining as a silent partner, or he can join your party later.

Once he lets go, she looks down at her shoulder where he held her, she takes out a cloth from her pouch and dusts off where he touched.

To herself she says.

"I see, your that type. It is good to know this now before we set off."

Then stands up to her full hight, looking down at the others, She is willow thin, she looks like a strong wind would blow her over.
She says to the group.

"So lets get one thing clear before we wast any more of each others time. I am a professional, from the sounds of it, some of you are local and this endives more emotional than mercantile for you. I have learned that those who let sentiment rule over logic rapidly become a liability in dangerous situations. Ruled by feelings they make calls that costs others their lives. The question I want answering now is, do you have the self-discipline not let emotions get the better of you and do what is best to get to your goal, I can help and I am now contracted to do so. You may not like me or my methods, but they get results and right now getting Khonnir Baine is the result your after. So lets be friends and make this work."

She is looks closely studying their reactions. She has made no threatening moves or actions, she really seems to be fascinated by what they will say next.

Looking up at the half orc Linpul only smiles.

"Maybe not Tar, but if we keep her quiet in front of Val she might not be that scary. I also don't think she knows how this part of the world works."

Hopping off her chair she stares at the tiefling. Dropping her gaze for a moment she reaches into her coat and pulls out a small blue tool similar to a screwdriver but different in odd ways. The handle has a strip of brown in it, the head seems to be split at several odd angles.

"Ma'am, do you have any idea what this is? If not this is called an e-tool. It is used for breaking into areas blocked by technology. Usually no form of magic, nor strength of arm can break into these vaults or hidden areas. Khonnir Baine has gone underneath the city into areas that requires something like this to get in. Demons and devils are not the biggest concern around here, and survival of the fittest isn't the law of the land. Whoever has the best piece of technology is the law, as is whomever has the most skymetal. So if nobody has greeted you yet, welcome to Torch."

Putting the e-tool away the tiny gnome smiles and reaches up a hand to shake. With an impish smirk and a raised eyebrow only accented by her rather large eyebrows she continues.

"And yes, I do have a personal stake in this venture, but that doesn't mean I'm useless. There are rumors that a nest of gremlins lies beneath the city, I happen to be a bit of a gremlin myself."

Rose looks down as the Gnome talks, then sits down on the ground in front of her crossed legged, nee's at odd angle, her sword flayed out. She looks intently at the e-tool. Nodding as the Linpul tells her about the things of technology.

"Than you that was most Fascinating, I have seen technology, and you say it is the law here about's. Its seems I have much to learn.. You know I don't know your name, you did not sign."

Waits for a name, if one is given.

"Thank you Linpul, I did not mean to be rude, but I did mean what I said, emotions can become a problem if you let them get the better of you. As for Val, if you think she will say more if I say nothing then I respect that. Gremlins you say, a bit of one yourself. I would love to hear all about them."

She seems very interested.

Dr Lendaro then peers over Linpul's shoulder to see the device clearly. "E-tool you say? My curiosity is piqued. I certainly have come across some impressive technology since my arrival, and must admit I am anxious to see if your tool there can best these hands of mine."

Eyeing the ratfolk with an glint in her eye Linpul has a few choice words when she hears that robots are taking over.

"If you want to save the world go join the crusades in the Worldwound. That is probably a much larger threat than what could possibly save the world. Technology is part of the future, and the road to that future is paved with skymetal."

Back to the good Dr. while raising the e-pick to show the strip of brown on it.

"Well E-pick. Short for Electronic Lock Pick. Technological locks are fundamentally different from magical ones in that they don't rely on magic at all. In fact the locks are coded with the different types of skymetal. This one is a cheap tool, only able to access the most basic of locks and not made of skymetal. There are several different colors, each one can open it's own color and those beneath it."

EDIT: Brown e-picks are not associated with skymetals, only white and higher.

Yes, tech paves the world, but robots with the ability to learn can prove dangerous if they think we are obsolete and learn above and beyond us, so they should be programed with care, or if in the wrong hands they are dangerous and I think some of them are in the wrong hands, at least that is what I was told. Technology doubles every 7 years

"Yet emotion also is the only tool we have to prevent us all becoming debased, cold and moral-less." He shakes his head, "You say you're good at what you do and I believe you and frankly we could use some help. Try to focus on the task at hand though and don't randomly molest any more street urchins." Those kids had it tough enough without her.

"And where did you get that nonsense? Silvermount has stood where it stands for ages and all the robots came with it. If technology doubled every seven years it would have taken over the world already, yet here it is, confined to these lands." He knew Linpul was a little crazy when it came to technology but this rat was downright insane.

I need at least two people to decide on a course of action before I can transition to a new scene. Tarphesh and Linpul might want to show Rakdon that not all robots are bad, or Rakdon show them that there is danger beyond Torch.

Both Linpul and Tarphesh get a strange feeling, as thoughts start connecting in their head. There is a strange automaton and Val left home alone...Their sister had always been very inquisitive.

Female Gnome Hunter 6; Init +2; Per +13 low-light; AC 20/13 T/18 FF; HP 40/40; F +6, R +7, W +4

Yeah, I was thinking about that, perhaps we should get moving to the Khaine home.

Wondering about the robot at home, Linpul comes off her track about the wonders of technology.

"Well, if we want to get started looking for Mr. Khaine, I think we should visit the house, what do you way Tar? That certain object he brought back might give us a lead."

Rosa has been making notes in a small note book as they others talked of tech. She looks up from where she is sitting, saying in a half joking half matter of fact way.

"There was no random about it, I may have just saved their lives. Kids like that seeking to head off into the unknown, an unknown that may have cost a number of others their lives already. Just think about their poor weeping mothers back on the farm. You should be thinking me not giving lessons in ethics and morals."

She chuckles standing

"And I always try to focus on the task at hand, so now we have that out the way, shall we go and see this Val you know."

She looks at the others to see if they agree.

"Ah yes, crushing them to save their lives, how noble." He snorts in derision. Deciding the woman thing isn't worth the effort he once again turns to Lin instead.

"It probably is a good idea to check up on Val and that thing. She has been complaining I'm babysitting her too much though so perhaps you'd better start the conversation."

Linpul and Tarphesh lead the group to Khonnir’s place.

You head west from the Town Hall, cross the bridge (north atop the large hill is normally where the purple flame shoots up) and find yourselves at the Foundry Tavern, where Khonnir lives. East of the tavern is a foundry, hence the name, that Khonnir rents out to smiths shaping skymetal. Slightly north of the two buildings is Khonnir’s residence.

The tavern itself is usually busy and filled with merriment as it is a popular place to hangout, however it seems closed today. The foundry is also closed as there is no smoke billowing from its chimney.
Linpul and Tarphesh knows that Val closed both after her father’s disappearance.

Before you can get any closer to the three buildings, you hear a loud crash from the northern stone building and a female scream. You see a young Kellid girl dressed in machinist’s clothing fallen on the ground, looking up at a metallic construct. It whirls its metal arms and appears to be getting closer to her…

Round 1 - Init 19 HP 11/11 AC19
Its dark in a strange town with groups of arm others all around, Rosa has her sword ready, resting on her shoulder, point up.

Rose like the others is shocked by the crash, he screaming girl and metallic construct whirling its metal arms. Then years of training kicked in, she did not think she just acted with clear purpose. The solder of hell went again to war. She moved toward the metallic construct. Her hands on the hilt of the great sword resting on her shoulder. It comes down in a moment, then an odd thing happens, the great blade seems to fly out of her grasp, strait at the construct, its point seeking it.

Hand of the Acolyte TH1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 DMG 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 2 = 10

Kn check to see if she knows what this thing is 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Fail haha.

Then the great silver blade is instantly back in her hands, she holds it out and shouts.

"Hay TIN-DEMON!! The Girl dos not want to dance with you, but I will!"

Trying to make herself a target for the thing.

Move 20' then

Hand of the Acolyte:

Hand of the Acolyte (Su): 6/day
You can cause your melee weapon to fly from your grasp and strike a foe . As a standard action, you can make a single attack using a melee weapon at a range of 30 feet. This attack is treated as a ranged attack with a thrown weapon, except that you add your Wisdom modifier to the attack roll instead of your Dexterity modifier (damage still relies on Strength). This ability cannot be used to perform a combat maneuver. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Linpul groans as the robot bursts through. Releasing the leash she snaps her fingers and points at Val and clicks her tongue.

"You have got to be freaking kidding me! Val what did you do? You know we weren't supposed to touch anything on it."

Tetsuda attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3This is if he is able to move into attacking range, if he has to double move to get to Val he will.

That's a nice trick. First, you move 20' before throwing, correct? Because they are about 50' away. Second, I don't see the ability that makes the sword go back into your hand. If you could point that out to me. Otherwise, your greatsword is off in the distance now.

Dr. Lendaro looks at the robot and believes it is a Repair Drone. However, exposed wires and circuitry sticking out of a cavity in its chest, makes it look like it is malfunctioning.

Anything else you'd like to know? You can have one question.

The doctor fires a shot from his pistol, blasting apart the drone's right hand and leaving a stump of blackened metal.

Tetsuda scuttles forward at an alarming speed until it stands between the automaton and Val. It tickles her with its legs.

She yelps before realizing who it is, and turns to see Linpul.

"Dad said it was a repair drone so I thought if I fixed it I might find out what happened. So, I tried everything I knew to repair it. But, you have to believe me, nothing I did worked. Then, when I went to get a snack, it just went haywire!"

She wipes at her face.

"I swear it wasn't me, Linnie."

You may also ask one question about the drone.

I'd want to know first what attacks it can use against us.(Attacks then Damage Resistances will be the Standard Operating Procedure order of importance for me.)

Move 20' then ** spoiler omitted **

The silver blade slams straight through the robot's core, knocking out a strange assortment of metal and glowing circuitry. Twitching violently, the automaton looks to be slowing down its exaggerated movements.

Dr. Lendaro wrote:

Dr. Lendaro's knowledge:
This malfunctioning robot drone only has a slam attack. Ones in better repair have a net and healing capabilities.

Seeing now the damage her blade had wrought, Rosa waits a moment, as the thing seems to be powering down. Her years of training kept her still and under control, gone was the flamboyant half-Devil the Rosa was a cold hard military killer and She's not taking any chances.

She moves to be next to Val, pointing at the ground around her.

"Form cycle around the girl, protect her and stand ready! Someone who knows this tech-nolo=gee go inspect that thing, let us know its dead. The rest of you be ready, it may not BE dead or there may others behind this things attack, wait for the all clear from the one doing the Inspecting."

Then next to Val some 10' away holding her blade up ready to hit any coming there way, she then slowly turns 360, looking for other targets and dangers beyond them.

Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

This is Rosa at her core, these are the skills she brings. Ok there may be no danger now and maybe just the one bot but she is paranoid as a flaw and takes no unneeded risks."

Rosa does not see any other movement.

Rubbing her face and leaving a stain of grease across her facial tattoos, Val runs past Rosa and Tetsuda and throws her arms around Tarphesh.

"Tar-goo, I was so scared! She sobs a little.

Thank you so much for saving me!

Rosa seeing no danger, and now not caring about the Girl wile she's with the others.

Rosa waits letting the others got on with looking after the girl. She moves something on her arms and her clothing changed, once again the long cloak and hood, hiding most of her face, her grate swords on her shoulder. She walk over to the odd drone thing, from out the bottom of her came her tail ferrets around close to her for odd parts that has come off it. Letting them into her cape and up to her hands. Unseen out of site.

Massaging her temple, Linpul walks over to the drone to make sure it's really out this time.

"Common occurrence in the wastes of Numeria? Sure, common occurrence in town? Oh heck no. Normally these are kept underground or outside of town. Mr Khaine brought this one back and told us not to touch it. Maybe it fixed itself while you were out Val?"

Scratching Tetsuda's shell she plops herself down next to the sobbing girl. Her tiny hand reaches up and rubs her back.

"Hey it's okay, you didn't know this would happen. At least it didn't explode like that one... those two... those times when I was messing with stuff when I was told not to."

With an eye on the drone, Dr Lendaro smiles slightly and answers Lady Rosa.
"This device is called a pistol." Dr Lendaro reloads after he holds the bullet up to show Lady Rosa. "It fires projectiles similar to sling pellets with a small controlled explosion. Not terribly complex in concept, but the precision required is not insignificant."

that edit was odd over did my last post

She had asked him about the device he had used to damage the drone.
She came over, His reply fascinated her.

"fascinating, yet I have never seem a sling shot do as much damage as your Bull-et did just. When we have time I would very much like you to show me it's capabiulitys Doctor."

Tarphesh smiles as the gall charges and hugs him, "I'm just glad you're ok Val. You really should be hugging Tetsuda, he really saved you." He knew she didn't really like the giant bug but teasing his little sister always was a fun thing to do.

"Now we figured we're going after Khonnir, try to find him down in the caves. Do you know anything that can help us? I mean, you're his apprentice as well as his daughter." He signalled to Linpul that the gall was al right. She was more scared than hurt.

Val smiles, then looks at Linpul and Tetsuda. "Thanks, Linnie. Oh, and your bug, too, I guess."

She thinks for a moment. "Well, dad went to that secret place under the lake again. But it has been far too long. The first time he stopped after seeing the big metal door and bringing that thing back, but I guess he went in further. Tar-goo, I'm really worried. Dad's a powerful wizard, he should have been back already."

Val bites her lip. She motions to Dr. Lendaro and Rosa. Do you think you can trust those two? They look kind of weird," she whispers. Val has forgotten about Rakdon.

"Well, they are the ones who just took out the robot so I say we give them the benefit of the doubt. The odd lady just promised miss Fredert she'd find dad and she's one to keep her word I think." He gave his two companions a concerned look followed by a smile. They'd have to do.
