The fearsome orc stares at the psychic sorcerer, her mind temporarily broken by his magic, the chainsaw still whirling noisily in her hands.
The two heads of the ettin scream at Yvell, as his blade slice across her arm. [b]"I'll replace these chains with your entrails!
Yvell roars back, " Not today you wont! We've killed Helskrag and taken down Meyanda, survived horrible wraiths and even your fanatical suicide channelers! What makes you think you will fare any better!? Give up while you still have a chance little ones, for there may be no other time for you. LOOK as your orc companion is currently dismayed. "
Yvell spins his blade readying for another swift strike.
"Heh, judging by the appearance and skill, you're just the woman I was asking to fight.... LET'S DAAA..nce.... And you're magically stunned... Ooooohkaay." Muga seems totally hyped to fight Kulgara, fingertips lightly brushing over the hilt of his blade, practically shivering in anticipation. They stood, face to face, each waiting for the other to.... Oh, she's just standing there with her mind crushed.
"Sigh." He said, not actually sighing, but saying the word 'sigh', "I'm never gonna get a fun duel in this crew... But I came here with a job to do."
" Heh, you act as if you can stand against her. I saw that strike, she is far worse than the half-ogre or Helskrag " Yvell parrying a spiked chain lunged at his head.
"Heh, I didn't fall to either of those, so maybe this lady's just my level. We'll never know, will we?"
" You didn't fight either ... " Yvell sneers.
"Oh, rather, they were too afraid to engage me, instead preying upon weaker targets. I remember putting more than one slash into Helskrag's back." Muga was clearly enjoying the banter, as it was more entertaining than unleashing strikes into a foe unable to fight back.
" Who are you calling weak? Enemies focus on the strong and leave the weak be. I put as many cuts into that hag as you, but sure I invite you to stand up against it when they arent distracted. Y'know.. talk the talk.. walk the walk. " Yvell wasnt upset, it was more he was confident he was correct though the fight was no less important.
" If you WANT to have that fight later.. You act like you cant just knock her out and have the duel. When we arent distracted with MULTIPLE ENEMIES! "
"Aw, sorry man, I meant it kinda sarcastically-joke-ily. It's hard to get the tone right when you can't see my eyebrows and I'm wearing a mask."
Muga slashes into the "stunned" orc, the blade digging deeply into her body. The orc boss remains standing, gritting her teeth on instinct but eyes staring directly at Uriah.
" Hrmph maybe you should get a mask for when you are being sarcastic then? "
Val rushes casts a spell then rushes to Aerons aid.
Phylla stands in place and doesn't do anything. She sends in your minds, "I could scream if you want. That might be effective."
Aeron slashes at the orc with her black blade scimitar before taking a step back. "I nearly was knocked unconscious," he/she says with no expression.
The orc collapses from Aeron's attack as the blade slices into her stomach. The red blade falls to the ground and stops whirring, no longer loud and echoing.
The ettin whips at Yvell with her spiked chains, making a few strokes with both of her weapons.
Muga watches as the Ettin unleashes a blow after blow down on Yvell to little effect.
"Well, you don't seem to have much punch." Muga lowers his blade and slowly saunters behind her, provoking her in more than one sense.
"Right then..." He lets loose a careless swing from below, knowing that regardless of how lackadaisical he chose to be, the ettin had to pay attention to Yvell.
But, he was apparently far too careless, underestimating the strength of her hide.
Yvell move his blade to parry the left side's attacks, knocking one to the ground and barely deflect the other, however, that led him to being open from the right side. A glancing blow leads up to a devastating strike that hits him full force into his chestplate and ringing his core while the spikes wrap around and tear flesh on the way back. Yvell was wounded surely but he could clearly fight own. A portion of his wounds transferring to sweet Valtyra, Yvell regains focus and shouts orders.
" Urgh blasted giant! You take me for a weak if you think your attacks will drop me. Helskrag was much more brutal, filthy as she was! Try and see if we can get the orc alive, she clearly knows how to use that weapon and is likely knows more about our opponent. Valtyra include her in your healing light if possible. Phylla retrieve that Weapon the orcess dropped before she is raised. It proved deadly, I rather she not use it again. Aeron get ready to knock her out again non-lethally if she awakes. Uriah, if you can assist wit this two headed she-beast. Muga and I will try to cut her down! "
With that Yvell dug in close and aimed at the Ettin's Gut, Slicing vertically upwards. Taking advantage of the positioning Muga provided and Phylla's great blessing.
He then grips his fist a fiery aura healing himself slightly.
"Try is such a strong word." Muga responded in relation to his blade that had glanced off uselessly.
" They TRY.. harder... "
Val sends up a quick prayer and channels.
Uriah draws a slender wand from his belt and levels it at the two headed giant.
However, the black negative energy ray (Ray of Exhaustion) fails to strike the creature....
Muga knocks aside the monster's flail with the flat of his nodachi.
Yvell's blade splatters blood across the room. The ettin's two heads roar in fury.
A flash of light emanates from Valtyra healing everyone.
Aeron moves in and slashes at the distracted ettin.
Phylla moves over to the red blade and picks it up. "Right, boss,"she sends sarcastically.
Draigs swings her chains at Yvell and Muga.
"... Mmm... Not bad, I suppose you're worth some effort." After having deflected the first chain, the ettin quickly adjusts, hitting him and Yvell easily through his guard.
This time, he wields his weapon properly, both hands on his blade as the hint of challenge brings an aggressive energy to Muga's normally dull unamused eyes. An upwards slash simple, but vital.
Val sends up another prayer and sends more healing over the party.
" Blasted joten-wench! I'm growing tired of you! "
Yvell takes the opportunity to cut low along her knees this time.
"HAHAHAHAHAAHAAA!" Muga is enjoying the moment far too much to fuss and not take the opportunity given him.
Muga delivers the final blow, slashing upward and splitting the two halves of the ettin into equal bloody pieces. The halves fall back and slam to the ground.
Yvell looks to Muga and nods; he goes over to inspect the orcess now that she was disarms to ensure she was alive. " How is everyone else when it comes to resources and vitality. That was a nasty trap to have the others be fodder then strike. Intelligent though we proved stronger than they intended. I assume she is stable or dead.. Val can you make sure.. I did not note if you wave effected her or not. I rather not go through this entire complex ignorant. "
Yvell also loots them thoroughly while the car-process is being administered.
"Hmm..." Muga glances over at Phylla, and the red blade. He walks over, hand held forward "Mind if I take a look?"
Phylla hands the blade to Muga. "Try not to cut yourself, Muga-servant."

Yvell picks up Kulgara and slings her over his shoulder.. she was quite heavy. Yvell always found that troublesome when it came to Orcs. " I'm checking out that room from before "
Yvell moves about the same comfort.. he was used to heavier armor so it was more becuse he loathe to carry so much. He swiped the card in the slot and put up his blade.\
Yvell opens the door using the green keycard and sees a small room.
The wall of this chamber are obscured by banks of mechanical devices, flashing lights, and panels displaying messages in an alien script, images, and mysterious markings that shift and change with astonishing speed. The air is warm and smells slightly metallic, while a high-pitched drone emanates from all corners of the room.
Yvell looks around confused by the amount of technology inside he tried to Identify some.
" Anyone understand what all is inside here? "
Uriah looks around the room.
"Uh... A library for machines? The information whatever it is, shifts too fast." Muga gives a guess, not really caring.
Yvell sighed, Kulgara's weight was quite something " I've seen things like this before.. sometimes if they flash they operate.. something in the place. Other times they give access to places or turn them off. I just don't know what they might do.. I don't see anything in Androffan. "
Yvell inspects the room for anything else of import.
Yvell lays Kulgara down and has Val or himself bring her back to consciousness, she was unarmed tied up and fairly disabled. e also wouldnt allow her too doe something like bite her tongue off.
When she awoke he stood over her and spoke. " I may not fully be up on orcish culture but I am sure the victor gains the spoils is normal for your kind. You have lost to us and thus would like to speak with you if possible.. with you in control of such. You are a strong opponent no doubt but your devotion is misguided. Much like the orcs from above. Tell us who you are, what you know, and Why you follow this Hellion? "
"... If I beat you unconscious, then woke you up claiming your god was imaginary, would you answer any of my questions?" Muga raised an eyebrow at Yvell. He is carrying Kulgara's weapon, but not as his own. He is holding it as a squire might carry his knight's blade.
" If someone spared my life and I lost when my faith was fully invested in said god and they had something to say I would at least listen.. if not simply to evaluate the situation. Then again I do not value strength over everything else.. Muga. Nor did I say her god was Imaginary.. that is folly if they provide actual benefits. "
