"Right! Adamantium for robots. My game's a bit off today." Nyssa studies the malformed robot(Green), then steps up to attack the thing with her plain steel sword.

Nyssa slices through exposed wires and one of the robot's broken extra arms. The scrap-bot grinds to a halt, body twitching ever so slightly.

Kraig takes a step in and punches the robot, despite his non-adamantine fists. His punches are enough to send the brobot to the ground and roars, "You ain't my brother, brobot!"

Hellion laughs, and a strange glowing multicolored hammer appears on the screen. "Feel the power of my Chaos Hammer, apes! A multicolored waves explodes from the screen.

It hits everyone except for Valt and Tessara. If you are lawful or neutral, make a Will save, DC 18. If you are Lawful and succeed you take half damage and are not slowed. If you you are neutral, you already take half damage and can halve this damage--also you are not slowed regardless.

Chaos Hammer damage: 4d8 ⇒ (5, 8, 2, 5) = 20
Slow effect: 1d6 ⇒ 1 round

The remaining scrapbot stares weakly at Nyssa.

Hmmph! Nyssa grunts in disdain. The demon's mighty chaos hammer does not the slightest harm to her chaotic, suli spirit.

Nyssa hacks at the last robot in an effort to bring it down.

Valt looks around with worry after Hellion's performance.

We will have to look around for those panels, and break them on sight. That ability to cast through them is very bothersome.

Iophiel attacks the robot again, hitting it with precision.

Damage: 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (6, 1) + 13 = 20


You can target the screen, if you want. It is on the map now. Part metal and glass.

Nyssa severs one of the robot's arms as she finds a weakened portion of metal her blade easily slides through.

Tessara cracks and breaks the central glass of the panel. The screen fades to static then darkness.

Iophiel cleaves straight downward through the scrapbot's center. Its body twitches, halves falling down and wobbling.

Battle is over.

Čemifobbar comes out of his bloodrage. Disappointed his swing didn't have much affect. "Hmph. That chaos hammer didn't affect me either."

"I wonder what's behind this door, then?"
He will inspect the door behind the robots (leading to R5).

Nyssa peers around Čemifobbar's large self, into the room beyond.

A bitter stink of chemicals with an underlying reek of decaying flesh fills the air of this cavern. A platform of gray metal, worn smooth and free of dust, extends over a ten-foot-deep pit filled with rubble-strangely polished rubble.

"Phah! This smell reminds me of the smilers!"

Čemifobbar will walk carefully into the room. With Gunshy's great club in hand he'll have a cautious look into the pit, using his darkvision and/or low light vision to see if he can see anything more interesting in the pit.

Čemifobbar uses Tess' mirror to look around corners. But still keeps his club, "Gunshy" in hand, expecting trouble.

Nyssa keeps at the ready, in case there is some sort of creature living in the polished rubble. Maybe the cultists polish rubble as an act of devotion. Nyssa smiles at the thought. Not likely. Some sort of creature, always some sort of creature.

"Takes a certain sort to live in a dump." Nyssa absently replies to Alexis' comment.


Cemifobbar sees nothing as he looks into the pit. He can see a few decomposed dead bodies, and other scraps and junk.

Iophiel can see some kind of liquid creature, a blob of some kind, hiding within the trash. Other than that, there does not appear to be anything useful in the pit.

"Doesn't appear to be anything interesting here. That thing in the pit might be a good way to dispose of the bodies of the Orc and his acolytes. Apart from that, we might as well just seal this room and move on.

"Thanks for the use of your mirror, Tess." says Čemifobbar, as he hands Tess back her mirror.

"Should we get ready to go down those stairs we found? I think we've looked at everything there is to look at on this floor."


When you are ready to go further...

A flight of metal stairs descends along the other edge of a partially buried metal structure here. A door allows access into the structure from a landing below, while brilliant lights cast illumination out to the south, into a large, damp cave. Far below, a pool of foul green fluid bubbles and smokes.

"Yup." Nyssa nods her head in agreement. She draws a dagger, while looking around the area, the pool is probably not the only dangerous thing about.

Tessara doesn't sense any magic.

Nyssa doesn't see anything interesting. The stairs to the right are blocked by mounds of debris. There is also a closed door to the north.

Satisfied that no nasty critters are lurking about, Nyssa moves down the steps, closer to the pool. From there she studies the pool.

The pool looks to be made of Numerian fluids, which have a wide range of effects, some negative and positive. There seems to be something at the bottom of the pool, but it is difficult to see.

Nyssa peers into the pool. 'Something down there. Maybe we can snake it out with the troll's grapple gun."


Climbing down is 15 feet, or so. Or you can head to through the door to the north. You can see some kind of path that wraps around at the lower level also. Where do you decide to go?

Trusting his senses, Čemifobbar goes ahead and opens the door.

Anything would seem safe with a roll like that! Just role playing the fact he knows he's very perceptive and probably doesn't give a second thought to getting it wrong (which would be metagaming) :P

Nyssa turns her attention to the door the bloodrager has just opened.

On the other side of the door is an L-shaped hallway that turns right. There is a door to the left and right of the first hall, then another door at the end of the turn.

You can hear a faint humming on the door to the immediate right. There is a keycard slot with a green stripe beside the door.

"Well, let's see what we have here." says Čemifobbar as he enters the hall to check out the doors there.

"Oh goody, now we get to hunt for the color coded keys again..." Nyssa mutters with quiet sarcasm.
Nyssa moves to the next closest door and listens with her ear pressed to the metal. Also noting if this door is color coded as well.

You can see that the other two doors do not have keycard scanners.

Cemifobbar does not hear anything through these doors, nor does he see anything like footprints, or other things of interest.

Nyssa hears a thumping noise. A few seconds later she realizes it is her heartbeat.
