I've long known that Chakos fancy'd Liz, but he never acted like it (I think), so having it tossed right out there was a bit embarrassing for him.

As an aside, when Chakos started traveling the path of the Oradin, the Elf alternate racial trait for Oracles was to gain 1/2 level towards the usage of a Revelation. My plan had been for Chakos to slect that at 3rd class (7th overall) and 4th class (8th overall) levels, so that at 8th level, with 4 levels of Oradin, he would have 5 Life Links. Apparently there was a recent errata that changed 1/2 to 1/6. Chakos will never have 6 levels of Oracle. He won't go beyond 4th most likely.

With GM's permission, I'd like to change back my 7th level alternate racial from the 1/2 (err 1/6) of a revelation, to an extra HP.

If/When we make it to 8th level I can Life Link 4 people (blame an errata to keeping that from being all 5 of you and ruining my plan!) We'll need to figure out who is normally uncovered by my Life Link.


Well with some better positioning that might not be a problem, we just need to keep one non-melee person save in the middle.

I hope for those oozes to fall into the pit there!°

It is my intent to take my 4th, and last, level of Oracle at 8th level. That will leave me with 4 life links, and 2nd level oracle spells.

From then on, it is back to Paladin. Lay on Hands is the bread and butter of the healing side of the build, and piling on Paladin levels will make that better, as well as make me a better killer.

Mainly in-game. I'm frustrated that I threw off our dungeon raid because I opened the gas chamber that Ibuki had already identified and told me about. I just completely forgot about it. Then, I misunderstood about the situation with the kid. I thought it was only Ibuki and I left, while the rest of you had gone into town for spellcasting. I felt like my hand was forced, so I sent Syvlara in to stop the kid by force. Diplomacy didn't work out. I felt like I had the choice to either remain CG and have the town hate me for hitting a kid, or become CN and let the town poison itself. It was very much a morality challenge that had no right answer.

It was unclear to me where folks were at the time of the kid. some had said they were going for the cleric, but clearly someone was there to see the kid.

Syvlara, don't worry about the gas, it was gonna happen at some point!


Syvlara, don't worry about the dungeon or the kid. None of it was actually that important, and it won't have any repercussions to your alignment, or the party.

The book's title is the Choking Tower-so most of the stuff you are doing now is just setup and background-understanding the town and getting a feel for events. The real meat is the wizard's tower.

Ibuki should be able to craft the headband for half the price. I don't think there was much loot in the Aurora, just one room (A3 or 4, one of the early ones). Might have been some in the later rooms but the gas.
