Our Primary objective is most important, unless you can see a way to get to the roofs quietly with the Inquisitor, then we shall return and detonate from the installation.

I could set up out of range of their munitions and strike the squads and devestate them from afar. With Uriel's men I am confident I can show them the way of a Raptor and guide them at long range assault.

Talent: Forging the Bond: Allows me to share squad attack pattern with other marines, I'm assuming it could be done with Divine Eagles.

My first strike would be against the Tank, we must disable it, as it poses the greatest risk to us and the Thunderhawk. Korbin, if you had a shot from the rooftops then you could take it too. Remember, its about luring them out and away to weaken them and get the Thunderhawk.

If our assault is successful and the forces fall easily, despite their Asartes tactics, then we might consider infiltrating the base, either ourselves or with the additional support of our brothers.

What say you Korbin, can you get us there without being seen? Inquisitor Shar, you seem to know a thing or two about staying out of sight, do you have any powers or equipment that could aid us in either objective?

If stealth is an option to get to the roof, with or without a distractionthen we'll try the plan above. If its not possible, then we retreat now and detonate, protecting the Inquisitor...Just depends on what the marines are armed with and how many there are, Korbin rolled for that earlier.

And if its too much and confusing, just take us back by Chimera now.

EDIT: I see you answered some question before this post, gonna check those out.

The Installation

Almost seeming to respond to Othair's high emotional state the red fog suddenly leaps forward in a storm of light and sound and engulfs the marines as it boils out of the hall and fills the elevator shaft.

Take another T test (+0 or +20 with sealed armor) or gain 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 points of corruption or 1 point of corruption on a successful save.

As the warp assaults you many images and sounds pass you by in a torrent, too quick for even your post human brains to process. You have a strange sensation of falling but then find yourself standing out in a grassy field with a beautiful starry night sky overhead.

Where are you? What happened to the Installation?

"I have the ability to slip through space, a limited teleportation if you will, but I am getting tired, not sure how many more times I can do it and I've honestly never tried taking anyone with me." Shar Quinn responds. "Other than that I am tapped when it comes to helping with stealth beyond my own."

I'll wait to see what you think after reading my last post before saying anything further.

Korbin takes just a few moments to consider what to do. I am confident I can reach the rooftops and facility unseen, but was unsure of your abilities. If you can teleport and remain concealed, then it looks possible to get you there safely to pilot the Thunderhawk. If you aren not confident you can arrive safely and quietly, then you needn't risk exposing yourself now, remain with Sardus and the Eagles.

He then turns to Sardus, I think your idea is an excellent one with minimal risk and maximum effectiveness. If you can target the the heavy marines in your first couple of shots from the dense jungle, then I can concentrate on taking out the Tank from the rooftops. Once those devestators and tank our down, then your squad can move up while finishing off the remaining marines as they scramble. We mustn't draw their attention to us up top until the last possible moment.......he then considers something else and a light bulb goes off behind the visor of his helmet, once again smiling at his deceit, and deciding to share is plan:

If Sardus and the Divine Eagles can assault two squads at once, taking out their bigger guns, by spreading yourselves out, then the Chimera can move in to assault what remains, if not from a safe distance. Spread out, fire from all directions, it will be confusing and disorienting for a few moments, which is all we need to swing the tide in our favor.

Your a genius Korbin, I knew that cogitator for a mind you have would figure out a way for us to retrieve the limiter. hey says, with no thought of retreat now. Uriel and his men will come with me in the Chimera, we will be opposite of Korbin's approach, which means if you're seen, we won't be able to help....When our assault begins, we shall take out the rooftop devestators first, if Korbin hasn't. Then we target the remaining devestators, then specialist, then marines. We will be taking single shots and I expect you to make the most out of each shot. I will assist you and offer a bit of advice when we travel. Either they will retreat and we move forward, or they move towards us, spreading themselves out, and we clean them up more easily. Once the biggest threats are destroyed, then Korbin can support from the roof. Depending on what comes out of that outpost, then we either attempt to infiltrate and retrieve the device or we rendezvous with Korbin and Shar at location Echo and exfil by air.

Uriel and his men, we do squad mode, Sardus leading, spread out around the outpost in support range, but probably in long range of the targets so we can use Attack pattern: Clean kill.

Clean Kill:

RAPTORS ATTACK PATTERN: CLEAN KILL
Action: Half Action, Cost:2, Sustained: Yes
Effect: In pairs or as a squad, Raptors can become even more proficient marksmen than normal, hitting targets at long ranges again and again with unrivalled accuracy. This is a favoured tactic of Raptor fire teams to lay down precision sniping on a target while their brothers move in to flank and destroy a position, the deadly shots so accurate that the targets dare not lift their heads from the dirt. The Battle-Brother and members of his squad within Support Range can re-roll Ballistic Skill Tests when firing single shots (i.e. not semi or full auto fire) with ranged weapons at Long and Extreme ranges. Additionally, a member of the squad may act as a ‘spotter’ for another member, helping him to find targets and judge distances. Any member of the squad may “spot” for another as a Full Action, negating any penalties to his Ballistic Skill Test against a single target provided he only takes a single shot (i.e. does not use semi or full auto fire).Improvement: At Rank 4 the Battle-Brother gains the benefits of re-rolls at Long and Extreme ranges with semi auto fire. At Rank 6 the Battle-Brother gains the benefits of re-rolls at Long and Extreme ranges with full auto fire. In both cases, the Battle-Brother may still only make single shots when benefiting from a spotter.

They will fire from afar, should get a suprise round, which first, we'll target the rooftop heavies, on Korbin's command, hopefully he makes it to roof and can be ready to take out some and then we all start on the roof. Once they are down, or Korbin/Shar can finish up, then the squad begins firing at the heavies in the 3 surrounding squads. 4 guys, each taking out a heavy and champion in the 2 squads, then Korbin and Shar can take out heavies in 3rd squad, or remain hidden and allow the Eagles and Sardus to finish up the normal marines from afar until the other heavies come in range, at which point they'd be the target.

Just explaining myself more clearly at the end, that should be enough to get this ball rolling, once everyone is in position, then we can begin, Korbin can roll for stealth and Shar?..if she comes..then you can just Roll the Eagles (and reroll) them in your posts. Anything else I need to say, do, or make clear? If you're ready, I'm ready.

Shar Quinn will hang back due to exhaustion until it's safer for her to come in or things get desperate, otherwise I'm ready.

The Chimera

The Marines set themselves up for their assault...

Sardus, along with the Divine Eagles and the Inquisitor climb back into the Chimera and descend to get in their positions. As Korbin makes his way by foot they keep a safe distance as not to alert them. During the short trip, Sardus shares what he can of his Chapter's attack pattern and makes sure the Eagles are up to the task. As they ride and Sardus takes command, he feels confident with his new brothers and worries little of the outcome as usual. Should they fail, the Chimera and Inquisitor could retreat and survive. When they've gotten as far as they can quietly with the Chimera, they unload and move out and into position. Sardus gives the Inquisitor a choice, not knowing her skill with a rifle and if she could fire at these ranges. If she does come, Sardus will place her nearest the Chimera for retreat, should their assault go wrong.

Entering squad mode, Cohesion 8. We will approach from extreme range and then slowly move up into Long range for their bolters.

Spread out men, stay within support range, make yourself a small target and stay within cover, make them come to us. Wait for my single, you know your targets, awaiting Korbin's signal.

While the Eagles take aim, Korbin set his launcher sights on the Tank and looks for a spot that could disable the main cannons. If things didn't go according to plan, that tank would be the highest priority concern in any retreat or advance.

Korbin moves closer, looking for an opening in the squads and how he could best access the roof unseen. He needed to find the right access point to ascend the roof with his grapnel and climb. It wouldn't be an easy task, but he had faced worse odds in his past. He needed to use his mind more than relying on agility, his size larger and heavier, he had to wait for the right moments to move when the sounds of the jungle and shadows could aid him. When his team was in position, Korbin made his move:

The Chimera

Shar Quinn and two of the Divine Eagles spot for Sardus and Uriel and a marine. They wait for Korbin once their shots are lined up.

Korbin sneaks carefully to the outpost and, hidden in its eaves finds a place to climb to the roof.

The Chimera

As the Marines prepare their attack the doors to the outpost open and a massive being the size of a tank comes stomping out.

Armored in mastercrafted terminator plate and armed with massive power claws large enough to effortlessly eviscerate a Carnifex this giant is haloed by the terrifying power of the Warp.

He turns and looks right at Korbin as he exits, his finely made features smiling in sinister glee as he looks upon the loyal marine.

"I have been waiting ten thousand years for this Korbin, and now it is time." Says the beautiful and terrifying being.

Korbin feels his gut clench as he sees who this being is, recognizing the glaring all seeing eye motif on his breastplate and feeling the power radiating off him that could only be from a God!

It is Horus Lupercal, the Arch Traitor of Chaos himself, returned after ten thousand years to slay the heroic members of the Death Watch!

He raises his clawed hand and unleashes the power of the Dark Gods themselves at Korbin.

The Installation(?)

Aterro finds he is cut off from the Installation's Vox network. Looking around Othair realizes that the plant life here is far different than in the jungle, with healthy grasses and old, widely spaced deciduous trees dotting the landscape.

Are you on a different continent? Or...a different planet?

The horizon lights up as you stand there, flashes of light that are familiar to you; large scale weapons discharge. There is a war going on here.

Othair realizes something else, the skies are clear of Tyranids, this is definitely a different planet.

The Installation(?)

Just where has the Warp taken you?

The Chimera

Korbin climbs stealthy up the outpost until he finds himself just under one of the devastators on the wall, he can flip up onto the roof from here if he wishes or stealthy pull the traitor marine off and slay him.

Luthar initially rejoices at being in a better more natural place, but knows it can't be real, it must be the corruption of the warp that has so strongly clouded his mind.

Damn that Inquisitor and her accursed toys.the Rune priest thinks to himself, walking slowly and moving cautiously. While more at ease than in the confines of the installation, Luthar convinces himself the ground beneath is nothing more than an illusion. One that must be fought.

The Installation(?)

Luthar finds that though the Warp is swirling powerfully, if invisibly, around the marines the world they find themselves in appears very, very real and even tastes different to his heighten senses then the jungle planet they left behind, wherever the Warp has taken you it isn't an illusion.

Up ahead you see the flashes for small arms fire as two groups of combatants burst from the woods, battling between themselves with eldritch grace.

They look almost human but are not, dressed in fine colored silks and glittering jewelry the beings fight each other with strange pistols and elegant blades.

Getting a closer look at them you know who they are: The Eldar. However, they don't appear to be of any of the groups you are familiar with, as they are dressed neither as the Craftworld Eldar or the Dark Eldar but seem to have a style reminiscent of both in different ways.

There appears to be about a score of them on each side and they are screaming at each other in their melodic Xenos language, seeming possessed of a passion bordering on insanity.

Toughness Test versus 70 for sealed armor. Toughness test: 1d100 ⇒ 61 Success

Apothecary Morgan takes this new setting in stride knowing that while he was knowledgeable in the matters of the warp he had no warp talent and therefore he wouldn't know how to return to the facility.

"Some warp sorcery must have brought us here. I don't know how we may return but until then there is a battle ahead to be won in the Emperor's name."

Striding forward Apothecary Morgan continues until he hears the strange voices of the eldar. Listening closely Apothecary Morgan attempts to determine what they are talking about.

Apothecary Morgan has the ability to speak the Eldar language so he will try and see if he can gain any insight into why this fight is happening.

The Installation(?)

Aside from the random death threats being shouted back and forth the one thing both sides are doing is shouting a specific phrase.

"Zhou Ue is the Inheritor!" On one side and; "Cain Tao is the Inheritor!" on the other.

Space Wolf Assault Marine 6

" I think I like you Apothecary. Practical, to the point and with a first thought to fight. Can i burn the fiddly little xenos yet or do you want to shoot them first?"

This is as real as you and me, no illusion. Wherever we are, we need to survive first. Getting in the middle of another's battle serves little purpose, for we may be beyond the Imperium with little or no hope of reinforcements or resupply.

The Rune priest pauses and observes them more. Can anyone understand what they say?

Korbin signals his brothers, knowing where they should approximately be, he's confident Sardus' command of the Eagles in his Chapter's way will work and Korbin moves to take out the devastator with his Axe in a surprise attack, taking a moment to aim for the head before striking. Sardus and the Eagles move into position, as one of the Eagles suggest spotting for him, the Raptor chuckles lightly and pats the man on the soldier, gently so, while in the terminator armor. I assure you, by no fault of your own, there is nothing you could do to improve my shot...Grab your gun and move out, target the 3rd soldier on the roof nearest to us one in position. Even without a spotter we can still use the extra shot. Fire on my command. After making sure everyone had their target and in their sights he signals Korbin they are ready and waits for the first solider to fall. Taking aim action, +20 bonus for next BS test.

As he gets a reply signal from Korbin, knowing his brother is already in positions assures him and gives him greater confidence in their plan. He readies the men now under his command and safeties are unlocked, targets are spotted and chosen. Based on Korbin's entry, he should have the rear guard from their position, thouhg he couldn't see Korbin, he knew he woudl be there. He would watch for his brother's move, if it didn't gather attention, he wouldn't give the order to fire, he will wait until the last possible momement to open fire. Knowing his men stood ready to take out the marines on the roof at his command, the set his aim on the tank and searches for a weakspot in the armor, hoping to bypass it and atleast disable the main guns. Not sure how tank is positioned in relation to us, if its to its side or its rear is facing us, not sure the best place to attack it,trying to disable main turrets, but I’ll let you and the dice decide.

Just making these rolls so you don't need to wait, they can be timed depending on what happends to Korbin, if he's silent and can deal with a few, then wait, but if things ever go wrong, then initiate this attack and that of the others with the Kill Clean Attack Pattern, Cohesion cost 4, 4 remaining. Let me know if I need an additional command test, not sure how that talent is used.

If it makes a "critical" differance, then my Deed "Angel of Death" allows a successful hit to ignore AP, I would be willing to use that for this combat with my RF shot, if it meant the difference in disabling the tank.

"Stop, let them kill themselves, they are yet unaware of our presence let's keep it so for now. We might learn more." as Decius refuses to move like a mountain.

You have two choices, you can either take another Concealment test at a -30 penatly to slip away and remain hidden or start combat, in which case you have 24 hours to post your actions and the marines do not count as surprised.

The Installation(?)

The frenzy with which the Eldar tear each other apart is shocking to behold. Though obviously equally skilled in both offense and defense they attack each other all out, desperate to kill each other and in just a few moments of combat their numbers are reduced by a third.

Aterro is dumbstruck at the change in scenery. Words form on the tip of his tongue to caution the apothecary, but Decius is first to voice concern. His is ready to adopt such a position.

"I concur with you, Brother Decius. We know nothing about the two forces in this fight, and so to join would be action without purpose! Apothecary Morgan, if you can establish some kind of dialogue here, that would be note-worthy. Otherwise we must needs practice the old adage that Discretion is the better part of Valor. To attack one side would definitely get us enemies, but has no guarantee of gaining us friends."

As Korbin swings at the Marine and the damage isn't enough, his scream gives way to warning and Korbin knows the element of surprise is lost. Take the shot. is the only thing he says, hoping his brother can act fast enough and their aim true.

Double checking: Do you want Sardus to attack the tank now?

Sardus sees his brothers attack and watches as the traiter marine stands and screams from the attack. Korbin silently signals the Eagles to fire as he unleashes the Emporers fury upon the tank and remaining men on the roof, trusting Korbin could handle himself and leaving the rest to fate.

The Outpost

The Divine Eagles drop the two other visible from the ground Devastators; one armed with a missile launcher and the other a lascannon, leaving the Champion and one lascannon armed Devastator remaining.

Sardus' fire strikes the tank on its armored flank and blows out the tracks, immobilizing it. Another Vengeance round deforms and destroys the autocannon sponson facing the loyal marines as yet another disables the swivel track of the lascannon turret, making it unable to turn.

The tank is still active but is effectively disabled from where the marines are current standing.

Korbin gets another round of actions before the Traitors go.

Korbin sees the tide turning and has to decide quickly what to do. He knows that one other marine remains and this one blinded, but he can't get to a ranged weapon fast enough and is left little choice but to finish off the blinded marine with less finesse in a last second gambit. As he hears explosions below, sounding like Vengeance rounds from a heavy bolter, Korbin understands his focus should be up here. While the traitor marine is momentarily blinded he releases the executioner ax with his left hand and breaks for the other marine, leaving his arm pointed and firing a concentrated blast of promethium from his deathwatch relic engulfing the marine and hopefully not ending his pain too slowly.

Don't know if cover is available or if the other guy can see me...not sure if I can just move towards him unseen or he knows where I am and need to take cover. What is the distance, might charge. Is Korbin dealing with the Champion here or the other?

He would ideally create some distance before doing it if possible, not sure if he needs to "disengage" the enemy as an action and/or what penalties/bonuses would apply for being blinded...I had also considered dropping a grenade at his feet, but not sure how that would've been done, if a BS test would be necessary to simply "drop" a grenade..also, not sure if I'm "engaged" so didn't want to drag it out...if possible, for future ref, please let me know how you'd handle/allow such things.

PS. What happened to the third marine firing without a spotter? I guess he missed? just keep him in mind for the next rounds, as it might be essential vs this overwhelming force.

The roof is a 20 meter square with the Thunderhawk resting in the middle, there is little cover on the roof itself besides the ceramite lip encircling it and a few crates. The Champion is 10 meters away in front of the gunship and the remaining lascannon marine on the other side of it under a wing.

I'll let you move out of combat with the current marine as he is blinded(auto fails bs tests and vision based tests and has a -30 to ws) it's not in the rules that he doesn't get a free attack if you move without disengaging but it makes sense in this situation.

You don't need to roll a bs test to drop a grenade but it does count as an attack, as it is dramatic though in this instance to drop one as you attack the champion I'll let you use a fp to do so if you wish.

All the marines fired, typically one shell isn't enough to slay a marine so I just rolled his attack in. In general I don't roll when Npcs fight each other, I just do what makes sense to me, If you don't like that I can take the time to roll out them fighting for combats your in.

Do you want to flame the Champion, charge him or do a different action? And would you like to spend a fp on a special action to drop the grenade at the marines feet and blast him? (autohit)

I believed there were only 4 men on the roof, maybe one wasn't visible before? If the Eagles dropped 2, and I'm fighting one, that leaves the champion, but if there are actually 2 left, then I'll definately use the FP to drop the grenade and charge the closest one with my Axe.

If there is only the Champion left and the guy I'm facing, then keep my post above, flame and then moving towards the Champion 5m (my half move)

Didn't even roll damage for the last attack. oops, long day, just got home from work.

2d10 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6.

Total: 10 E, Pen 5, (-20 test to dodge)

One other thought, with the other guy there 10m away, couldn't I not move myself around, putting the marine between me and the Champion and blast them both with promithium? That is my first choice, and I can still deal with the last guy (if hes really there) afterwards.

As stated earlier:

Yuugasa wrote:

A squad of Marines is 5-10, in this case 10 per squad, the tactical squads are armed with bolters except for 1 champion, 1 specialist and 1 devastator each. For simplicity sake I'll say each champion has a power sword and plamsa pistol, each specialist a melta gun and each devastator a lascannon.

The Jungle is dense but there is a clearing 30 meters wide all the way around the outpost where the jungle has been cleared, the squads are not in any sort of cover and are at equidistant lengths around the outpost. The Devastator squad on the roof has 1 champion and 4 marines, two armed with lascannon and two with missile launchers. You can stealth your way onto the base at a -30 penalty.

Really it's up to you whether you want to go after the limiter or not at this point, this is one of those player choice moments.

Sorry for the confusion this is one of those times a tactical map would really help. The marine you're fighting is standing at the lip but I'll let you leap up on it without testing to blast them both if you like.(so you catch them both in the blast)

I'll wait to see what you decide to do before working out damage.

The Installation(?)

After many long moments the Eldar nearly finish each other off until literally only one of them is still standing, a champion in fine jewels and silks that, through skill or luck, has remained unharmed. He pauses for a moment to move amongst the bodies, finishing off the wounded, including those fallen from his own side.

Korbin leaps over the side and sprays two of the traitor marines in fire, catching them off guard and unaware. As their flesh burns Korbin leaves them for the moment and charges the remaining soldier with his axe in hand.

That's the second time I've missed a guy in combat, I was just in a hurry and thought I was right, too lazy to re-read original post. I'm sorry and I won't let that happen again, I'm usually right, but got so many games and numbers to keep track of I need to find a better way of organizing combats for myself. I like the PC narrative focus that your comabt has, I'd be a lot of time and rolling for every NPC, I agree its not always necessary in every situation.

It's all good, especially when descriptions happened possibly days or weeks of real time before, add to that no visual cues and it's hard to remember every detail every time. Asking questions is good, like you have been doing, it helps all of us get on the same page and know what is happening.

Real tired right now, will post combat related stuff after I get at least a little rest.

Apothecary Morgan glares down at the final eldar.

"They appear to be fighting to become some sort of inheritor."

Aiming his bolter at the remaining eldar Apothecary Morgan begins to approach. As he gets closer he speaks to the eldar in his native tongue.

"In the name of the Imperium stand down eldar, and identify yourself."

Decius doesn't know why we are approaching the Eldar, but it is clear he cannot leave this place alive or in chains after haven seen them.

The Installation(?)

The Eldar sees the marines approaching and declares: "What in the Underworld are you things?" his eyes wide before turning on his heel and running away.

Aterro takes a deep breath. Just once could we talk to a Xeno before we need to shoot it? How many armies of Eldar must surround us before we are allowed to have good manners?

"Take pause, Apothecary. We have him greatly outnumbered, and this is our best chance to talk to someone not surrounded by an Eldar army. Make request of him to engage in dialogue so we might find out at least which Throne-forsaken planet we are on. We have neither Crusade Fleet nor support so we shall not be Cleansing this planet any time soon. And try to ask nicely. Certainly the Emperor's Truth shall come to this planet in time, but that is not the priority just now."

The Outpost

Injured marine dodge +10,-20, 35 vs 1d100 ⇒ 79

The injured marine collapses as the flames burn him down.

Champion dodge +20, -20, 50 vs 1d100 ⇒ 83

Test to avoid catching fire. 50 vs 1d100 ⇒ 15

The Champion is seared by the flames but stays upright.

Champion parry, ws 55, +10 balanced vs 1d100 ⇒ 57

The Champion parries Korbin's attack then he strikes back with his powerblade:

Ws 55 vs 1d100 ⇒ 58

Ws 55 vs 1d100 ⇒ 67

His blows fail to connect, meanwhile the other traitors become aware of the attacks and their rough locations.

The Thunderhawk begins to growl as its turbines begin to spin and power surges through the gunship.

Your turn.

Sorry for the delay, was doing Easter stuff. Also Korbin if you meant you where charging the lascannon marine on the other side of the Thunderhawk we can change it, not sure if you can make it around the Thunderhawk and charge him in one turn though, also how did you attack with the flamer and the axe in one turn? Edit: the surprise round was when you brained the first marine.

End of previous round, going to spend my reaction to attack with Servo Harness
Korbin's advance wasn't as clean as he'd hoped, and as the Thunderhawk began spinning to life, he knew things would turn from bad to worse if he wasn't quick to react.

The Champion parried his attack and the sting of the promethium threw off his aim, even if momentarily, causing him to swing wild and in haste. When the timing is just right, his breaching auger spins to life and strikes from the side, seeking to impale the distracted marine through his armored sides as he swings wildly.

Use my reaction for that round to attack with Servo harness, eqquiped with Breaching Augur Installed on Servo Harness

New Turn

Korbin comms his squad:
Thunderhawk powering up, I may have to take out our ride, take care of the remaining marines up here. If it takes off, get the inquisitor to safety. Don't worry about me.

Korbin then thinks about what he could do to disable the power on the ship from the outside, something he would be able to repair quickly, but enough to keep her down and unpowered.

INT 65 + Trade (Armourer) +20 vs 1d100 ⇒ 10 7 DOS

Then as calculating as he can be, he considers boarding it and using it against the ground troops, but not sure if his flying ability would suffice. However, if the Inquisitor could warp inside, then he could man guns and support his squad with more firepower than he currently wielded.

Could that be the inquisitor now? How else could it of powered up, unless there were men already aboard that he missed in his initial observations.

He ignores the lascannon marine on the otherside, hoping his brothers could cover him long enough while he focused on the task before him. He keeps as much between them as he can, even using the Thunderhawk as a shield, hoping the marine wouldn't dare use his gun in such close proximity to it.[/ooc]

That might take a half action to think of something, may even consider using my reaction if it meant still having a full action to do something, like with my Logis Implant? It might give me some enhanced targeting information or critical power system lines.. If necessary I'll spend a FP to keep that thing on the ground somehow.

It's got 2 rounds after this to power up right? Can't believe I missed a crew, do the guns looked manned? Korbin will try and stay inside the firing radius of the Thunderhawk, maybe even enter it if it can't be disabled from the outside.

Sardus, satisfied with his hits on the tank hears his brother's comm and swings the heavy bolter over towards the roof. He switches to Dragon fire rounds and fires off a single round in the area of soldier, but it goes wide and misses.

BSs 65, +10 Bolter mastery (75) vs 1d100 ⇒ 98

Jam: Weapon is reliable, roll 1d10, only 10=jam.

1d10 ⇒ 8

He then replies over the comms:

Focus fire on the rooftop soldiers, Korbin needs time to disable the Thunderhawk. If it takes off we need to hold fire and retreat. Inquisitor, I don't want you exposed if the Thunderhawk gets airborne, unless you can warp up there and take out the pilot he says with a half laugh sarcastically, but seriously partially wondering if it were within her abilities.

It would be risky, but if her and Korbin were aboard, they could take over and offer critical support against the remaining soldiers. We must concentrate on the heavy soldiers, they pose the greatest risk to us and the Thunderhawk should we commandeer it

"The eldar refused to open a dialogue with us, and is currently fleeing to bring an eldar army down upon us. Now isn't the time for talking it's the time for action."

After saying so Apothecary Morgan will begin to follow the eldar trying to keep it within sight of his bolter.
