Draka walks toward the orc, whose feet are locked to the ground.

Do you want to kill him?

I really am obliged by the tenets of my faith to deliver him to Pharasma. But since Draka has raised an objection, I can always finish him outside.

LOL. The Deceiver is a psychopath. Levels in assassin?

Draka the Wide wrote:

To those surrounding the orc. "If you will permit me, I shall rid us of this fellow without further bloodshed."

<Draka plays with another of the ornate rings on his finger.>

Cordoba watches Draka and how he dispatches the orc without further bloodshed. "They haven't paid their bar tab you know."

The orc is struggling to escape: Strength check - 1d20+4=5

That's 2 ones in a row....!

"Roshan, check the bodies."

Been thinking about that but I'm still a few levels shy. Tell you later when I'm eligible.

"Hold still! Or we run you through!"

I'm going to give everyone a bit to state what they'd like to do with the cleric. He did, after all, kill Ryor.

Some of the patrons begin screaming in Kelish: "Kill, kill, kill!"

You have a few seconds game time to decide, he'll starting chopping through the ice soon.

Maximus says: Are you not entertained?!

Male Half-orc Fighter 2

Syd raises his sword to strike, and then drops it without striking. "Bastard." is all he mutters.

Excellent, spoken like a true hero.

Male Gnome Druid 3

Hoktsumisso move near the orc and clouts him on his nogging

Att 16 , Damage 10 , I did not add any bonus from the orc being helpless

'What's your problem! Do you want him to come back later and kill you?'

"Wait! It is not fitting that we murder a helpless opponent! Perhaps friend Draka, there is a temple we could deliver him to? A holy place that will seek to redeem his tortured soul?"

Nonlethal Coup-de-grace(?): Attack: 1d20+8=26, 1d6+2=7

<Ducks as Hoktsu and Domo thump on the cursing orc.>

"He is a desert dweller. I was thinking of sending him somewhere.... cold... from whence he shall not be coming back."

"Perhaps someone could disarm him for me?"

Draka the Wide wrote:

Domo tilts his head to the side. "That is... appropriate. I can abide by that. But first!"

<Domo will attempt to remove any visible unholy symbols that he can see.>

Hand waving.

Syd disarms the orc with a deft move. Domo pulls the symbol of Rovagug from its chest, but realizes the effort is futile when he finds another tattooed beneath.

Draka touches the orc and it disappears in a spectacular flash of light.

This could get interesting. I was going to have Rackham start getting back on the paladin track.

Male Half-orc Fighter 2

"Enuff. I've 'ad enuff." Syd says with great weariness.

"Ah, sirs. I regret that I was unable to aid enough to save your friend. You have my condolences. His soul will surely be favored by Cayden Cailean, for he fought with worthy friends. My name is Brother Domo, of the Monastery of the Inner Light and servant of Cayden Cailean." Domo bows low.

Male Half-orc Fighter 2

Syd looks at Domo with sad eyes, "Int yer fault, mate. Just seems we's got ourselves on the guttin' deck, and 's a toss-up wevver we're the gutters or the fish."

He sighs, "Sorry, bruvver. Syd's the name."

There is still the thief who tried to get into Aref's backpack... It appears to be Vass.

Male Gnome Druid 3

" Oh , Man ! That Was a Great Fight ! Did You See My Wolves ! There were three , three ! Usually There is Only a COUPLE Coming to my Call ! And then The Way The Man There (Cordoba) Makes BLOOD spurt only with his HAND . Are you a monk ? What Way is this called ? It should be the Way of the Leech ! And then Domo was EVERYWHERE! And then the way the FLAME did pass beetween the mob to burn the wizard there ! And then my wolves did TRIP EVERYONE ! And then we learned they were REALLLLLY evil since they DECAPITED someone! And then we sent the survivor to a cold hell ! Man, that was the best fight ever !!! "

Really really short pause

'Why were we fighting them for by the way ? '
'Where is the girl dancer ? This calls for a BIG drink ! '
'Do you think they have Magic items or?'

finally pausing to breathe and begin to cast
Pharasma

Spoiler:

I cast detect poison , not detect magic

The toothless man with a beetle ravaged ass: "How was that for a welcoming party, eh? You morons are on my turf now... not Katheer I mean. The city. People. My playground. HahahaHhAhAHAhHHAHaahahhaa."

<Waves his dagger around at the people who are now staring at him.>

"Them. Ooooooooh, you're gonna love this."

Hoktsu:

Spoiler:
The dagger used by the rogue is poisonous. A bottle hooked into his belt would seen to be the source of the venom.

<Draka stabilizes the man. He also stabilizes the rogue who started the fight. For the others he can do nothing.>

"Roshan, have Zebul throw these on the cart and take them somewhere. The dead out through the hole. Quickly, quickly. AKILARA! XOSHANA! RAEADRA! BRING THE WINE! Sit down please everyone."

To Aref quietly: "You've outdone yourself, what in the name of Sarenrae have you brought back from the sands this time?"

"Everything is under control. Everyone have a drink as our good host suggests."

The Deceiver wrote:

Cordoba:

Spoiler:
You feel your blood burning from the rogue's poison. Another fortitude roll please...

1d20+3=14

Cordoba grits his teeth as he realizes the seriousness of his wound. "More wine I say!"

Your body fights off the poison, or maybe it was the wne that did it.

For Pharasma

Spoiler:
You think we'll reach level six; if yes, I might go try the assassin PrC with Book being my initiation kill.

Male Human Sorceror 3 EXP-3450

Draka, I apologize for dis disturbance and all we have brought to your house. It seems we awoke some demon in de desert and he has followed even when we thought him gone. He takes the body of the weak-willed and uses them as a noble uses a concubine and them then discards it when done, used and worthless. Or dead. I must figure out how to destroy it permanently. He seemed to want something from my pack. Probably de book. I vish to have some time to study it's mysteries. Pulsifer, I vould velcome your help in examining dis book.

Private room? VIP room? You do know what happen in those places?

Aref, this is from a spoiler when you first sat down in Draka's:

Spoiler:
You keep you backpack close by. A weird green light spills out for a moment when the closing knot comes untied and you lash it closed again. Nobody seems to notice.

Would anyone care to theorize on its potential uses?

Hoksu, loot forthcoming.

Sorry, hard to keep track lately. I think it might help trap the spirit/demon thingy.

Hey, The Eye of Aroden! It may be the key to capturing our body-snatching demon!
detect magic on the Eye, in private(the basement hopefully)! trying to determine auras.

Before everyone goes upstairs to the private room:

Roshan is quick frisking the bodies, but while he's calling off some of the eager patrons Hoktsu snatches a satchel.

Hoktsu:

Spoiler:
Contents:
  • gem: tourmaline (120gp)
  • gem: alexandrite (600gp)
  • gem: deep green spinel (90gp)
  • bull's strength (potion) (300gp)

Upstairs in a luxurious private room.

The room is large with cushions and drapes. Two archways lead out onto balconies facing the north and the east, but they are closed off with a heavy iron grating right now. A large, intricately tooled lock keeps them shut.

After Draka pulls the curtains that separate the room from the hallways, Aref pulls out an emerald orb with a yellow core. It's enormous and judging from its coloration certainly priceless.

    Zubuneffri kivalt he whispers.

    Aref:

    Spoiler:
There are auras of divination, enchantment, and conjuration. Enchantment is dominant, and indicates strong. The divination aura is also fascinating, indicating multiple effects. Whatever it does, it's powerful.

Hoktsumisso looks a little incredulous when he see the servant looting the corpses while he didn't fight but he looks around and see the others do not react .
He then looks at what he has picked up and smiles
Then he go back to his place saying to Brother Domo
'Come , Brother Domo, and let us speak of this great fight . It seem the others are either dead , escaped or too proud to speak with us ! '
