The campfire burns brightly in the dead of night. The darkness threatening to swallow the light and the warmth as the flame begins to die down in cinders. The five adventurers occupy the area around the flame...

Tangle lies at his usual position atop Wexleys belly. Lazily staring at the dying flame and glancing at the others sitting around it. Hoping one of them will go and put more wood on it.

Teigra sits at the edge of the firelight, glancing around at her strange new companions, still not quite sure how much she trusted them. Her gaze travels slowly back to the dying fire thinking about all that had happened since they landed on this strange island...

Male Ifrit Oracle/2

Goumranth scratched one of his small horns as he watched the fire die down. He noticed the discomfort of some of his new companions and decided to go get some fire wood. "I am going to get some fiwewood, would anyone like to join me?" He positioned himself to see all four of them, since he wouldn't hear them moving or speaking. As he finished his question he felt a strange burning near his heart, he rubbed his chest to make it feel better. He thought about this oddity that he had since he was little and what it meant, not even being touched ny the power of life itself had aleviated it.

Turning myself from the warmth I face him and shake my head to answer no, "It is probably a bad idea for a blind man to search for wood suitable to burn." I face the fire once again in despair that vision was granted to me in an illusion, wandering what cruel being would torment me so with that which I have lost. Hoping to get to know who I have placed sudden trust in I sit awaiting talk with my new companions not knowing their feelings as I can not see their expressions, I would feel uncomfortable breaking uneasy moods.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2

Ser Riply Worthington, Esq. extraordinaire sat watching on the fire slowly die from the comfort of his folding chair. His eyes flicked to Wexley, his mind contemplating a full nelson maneuver. But that would leave him exposed to his rival's pet frog. Troubling. He would have to learn to speak dinosaurian to request a true duel, instead of these spur of the moment spars they've engaged in thus far.

Worthington sprung to his feet when Goku offered to search for firewood. He could not suffer he greatest friend on this island to go alone into the dark night! "Come, dear squire! We shall find more firewood then even I can carry!" He punctuated with grandiose arm movements. "And you, Dead Man! Would you not be MOST suited to search for wood in the dark?!"

Lee Sin replies in a heavy voice "Typically yes, however my mind weighs heavily on me, I wish to rest a while to set it at ease."

Lee Sin smirks and turns his head to towards the rogue, "However, if you fear the darkness and need me to hold your hand as you search, even with heavy thought I'm sure I am still capable of that."

Lee smiles with his comment knowing humor helps to turn thoughts away from worries.

Male Ifrit Oracle/2

Goumranth looks from the blind monk to the orc, hoping a fight doesn't break out. In order to alevite the tension he intervenes. "Now, now, theiw is no need to be mean, we awe all in this togethew. If Mr Lee Sin wishes to come or not is his choice." He looks to the monk and states, "I do agrwee with Wiply, if youw blindness is not a wecent pwoblem and you have become acustomed to it?" He forms the last as a question.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2

Riply leans forward towards the once-dead monk. Slowly his large tusks curl into a grin, "But of course my good sir, the dark is a frightening thing indeed! Good to hear you'll be joining us then, mine good sir!" Without waiting for an answer, Worthington reaches down and reaches to pick the monk up by the collar and toss him over his shoulder.

Lee laughs as he finds himself persuaded to join his companions on there night time walk. "Of course I will join you then" Lee says to the orc.
Lee turns to the oracle to respond to his comment forgetting he is deaf, "You would have to define recent," he says as he smirks recalling the events before losing his sight, "though I can honestly answer I do believe I have been blind long enough to feel accustomed to it."

Male Ifrit Oracle/2

Goumranth was able to see the monks lips move, so he was able to read his words even if he could not here them. "That is good, losing one of youw sences can be fwustwating. I sometimes ask what the gods wewe thinking when they took my heawing, I guess they figuwed the ability to heal was a decent compensation, it does help I am able to wead lips. Though some people have mentioned that I have trouble with the r sound, does this still hold true?" Goum follows his new companions in search of firewood, knowing the dark would hold no problems for his darkvision.

Teigra remains crouched on the edge of the firelight as the orc, the blind monk, and the deaf oracle head off into the woods in search of firewood. As they disapeer into the darkness she turns her head just enough so that she may see the last two remaining party members out of the corner of her eye. The frog creature remains atop his pets belly also watching the three leave the camp in search of firewood, seeming pleased by the turn of events. Teigra shifts uncomfortably, trying to think of something to say...

Tangle watches three of his new companions leave, glad that he didn't have to leave Wexleys warmth. He then turns to his other new companion, the only one who's "egg wasn't half boiled".
"So miss Teigra, where were you before the fall into this paradise?"

Teigra turns to face Tangle, looks at him for a moment, and then scoffs. "Paradise? You call this paradise?" She shakes her head to let him know she realizes he did not mean his comment seriously. She stares off into the darkness and sighs heavily, "To be honest, this is the most excitement I've seen in awhile. My life wasn't all that thrilling before this. I left my home about 40 or 50 years ago and moved to a city off the beaten path. I lived my life with as little contact between myself and any other intelligent lifeform as possible. I took odd jobs every now and then, just to make enough money to get by. A simple life." She looked back to Tangle, "And what about you Tangle? What's your story?"
