Dawn of Worlds

Suddenly, you appear in a circular room. At the edges, stone pillars support the vaulted ceilings, as windows look out into the nothingness beyond your home. At the center of the room is a massive table, surrounded by chairs. At your appearance, each reshapes itself, seeming to welcome their owners. Next to Geiyara, vines grow from cracks in the floor to wrap around the chair legs, while the very substance of Teleron's chair seems to fade in and out of reality.

The table itself is nothing more than a carved map. Currently, it depicts a single large, flat continent. It is roughly rectangular, with a small piece of land at the southwest corner jutting out into the surrounding ocean. To the east, a small island rises from the ocean depths.
Imagine the main continent looking something like a larger version of Connecticut, but with no geographical features.

All right, let's get started! For round 1, here are your power points. Edit: Wow, those are astonishingly consistent. I'm glad to see that you're all starting out on a level playing field.
Na-Rizza: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
Aurus: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
Teleron: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
Geiyara: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11
Moranus: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
Miolla: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9

Pinging so it can be on my Game page

The Witch Queen of Hell "Na-Rizzer" Comes into being in the hall of the gods. She makes no move, but Her eyes narrow as she studies her fellow gods for an instant then she moves quickly to her seat and is the 1st to do so. A simple seat of Black Adamantine, Mythral Silver and a little blood copper Red, By her side a place for her Spear and whip.

She looks at the others with her Silver Orb says in a polite clear voice.

"Please my fellow gods, let us sit, for this is the Hall of creating and this, I believe the well-plan of creation. So many years some of you have waited for this moment, to be gods at last with a world to make. I think this promises to be most interesting"

Then she sits patently and waits for the others to take there seats.

Description
She stands some 18' tall with a Crow/raven on her shoulder. She is not dressed ostentatiously but in simple Black, sliver. On her head is a simple Adamantin crown. She is however stunningly beautiful, with a powerful regal air about her. Her Silver orbs for eyes look intelligently at you. Its very hard to read her face, or emotions she holds herself with near perfect rigid composer.

A simple and silent spark announces Aurus. Something that any with what little knowledge he allowed of himself knew was deliberate, for his presence was beyond even the greatest of beings ability to detect. He did not seem to move as flow towards his seat. When the first to speak was the hellish queen Na-Rizzer he merely smiled beneath his covered mouth and produced a shock white lock of hair that the goddess knew instantly to be hers. Letting it fall from his hand it returned to her with grace through the air. He did not take his seat but leaned against it while remaining standing. None the less it shifted in form, strangely so as if it could not make up it's mind what to be, yet in moments it retained one form over the others. A high backed darkwood chair with silver fur trim and brown leather padded stitching on the seat and arms. His symbol crowning the top in a carved insignia yet with real wakizashi embedded along with a glowing spark cradling a coin pouch in midair above it.

He waited for the others, his eyes alone exposed and speaking of mischief yet to come or perhaps already done.

Getting it on the game page too, will try to add more detail to Aurus tomorrow too. ;)

Na-Rizzer smiles at Aurus as her hair falls back into place.
In a knowing voice she says.

"I was wondering where that had gotten to"

She pulls a book and pen from her sleeve, opens the book.

With some satisfaction she says

"Arr the 1st crime is committed, 'theft'"

She spells out and writes in the book,

"with that the book of sin is started, thank you. But we can get to names soon, I think it only polite we wait for the others to take their seats before we introduce ourselves don't you."

She slips the book away.

"O, If you steal the book, take the pen as well, make sure you jot down the acts, I like to keep it up to date."

Her smile never wavers her deeply intelligent eyes look over the others as they sit.

Well, who's going to get the ball rolling? The world awaits your commands.

Slowly, the roots around Geiyera's chair grow. Twisting and turning they wrap around the chair and each other until finally forming a tree no taller than 6ft.

The branches grow and spiral in all directions, each sprouting leaves of colors ranging from mint green to scarlet. The trunk then begins to shift, revealing a roughly made female figure within it.

Her skin is a mix of bark and flesh, with specks of brown, green, and pale pink. One of her eyes is covered in moss, the other is white with a brown iris and black pupil.

Her hands are made of intertwined branches, and her legs, barely apparent, are rooted into the tree. She naked body sways in the wind, for the mother of nature is not ashamed.

"I... live" is all she says.

This is roughly what she looks like

How many inches can we shape land in one turn?

Waiting on the others GM and then I hope into's as we are the new pantheon of this new world. A meet and greet may be in order before the scum of clamming land :), also are there other NPC gods?

Na-Rizzer nods at the plant woman.

"Nice to meet you, Mother of life."

Because there is no map, just describe what you're doing. I'd like it to be relatively reasonable, but you can certainly create large formations, such as islands, forests or deserts in a single action.

Edit: Oops, somehow I think the dice roller changed my dice results. Originally it was all 8s and 9s, which is why I said it was so even. I wonder what happened, but it shouldn't have a big impact this early in the game.

Moranus walk towards a chair, each step having power beneath it. As he gets closer to the chair and the map his eyes widen. "Well would you look at that. I have been practicing my mountain making for a time like this." Moranus sits down and the chair turns into what looks like a chair carved into a boulder.

This is the chair

"I am Groo....Geiyara"

Not my original intention, but I thought I should get that one out of the way

Geiyara speaks incredibly slowly, so much so that it is likely to bore the other gods.

She faces the tall white haired woman and nods respectfully, her leaf hair swaying as if in a breeze.
"I.. greet you. Strong ... leader"

She then faces the large board and, with the growing of her index finger, makes a circle in the very center of the land.

"Big trees" She says

A large forest erupts from the soil, sprouting giant sized oaks, their large branches lurch in all directions like flailing limbs frozen in place.

A large collection of trees like this, covered in moss. It's meant to be a deep, old forest. Similar to the fangorn forest in LOTR.

Geiyara spends 9 points to create 3inches worth of deep forest in the center of the landmass

Aurus smile did not waver at the queens act. Who said he stole it, limitations of thought was law. Freedom of thought was part of his essence. All the lies in existence made not a difference to him. He saw the earth mother make her first creation on the world, he liked it. A fine place for many things. He watched the others, remaining silent and observant but taking no action just yet.

Aurus is passing this "turn". Too few points.

GM just spotted no one has taken Death as a Domain, so I am going to add it to Na-Rizzer and make her the The Witch Queen of HellDeath. She will take NON of the sub domains or judgement, that is not what she dos. That's for other gods to decide if a follower has been good or bad and its soul on death should be sent to hell for punishment ever lasting or perpetuity and then its afterlife. Only her followers are quarantined a post in hell for all time. Death I think Death has to be in play or everything will be immaterial an why would it need gods etc. :)

"Greetings life God Geiyara I am 'Na-Rizzer' The Witch Queen of Death. The Ruler of the nine Hells from the Gray lands of perpetuity and judgements halls and down to the deepest punishment pits. As you will give the gift of life so I will offer the gift of Death. All mortal life will walk our road, we are its beginning and end, you the alpha and I the Omega."

She strokes the Raven on her shoulder.

"And if the life you craft has souls that seek to follow a god and a gods promise of an afterlife. Then on death if such gods pass failed judged on a soul. Then it will enter my realm, the hells. There to be punished and cleansed to a point it pass judged to the afterlife or be judged dammed for all eternity. This is my being and my calling, I am like you, but a servant to our fellow gods."

Her voice is even and collected.

Then she bends over the map

"I see nothing that needs my attention at this moment"

Also no spend

Geiyara turns again to "Na-Rizzer"

"Life... cannot be without death...

Creatures must eat... must contest for food... must balance

I ... do not hate Na-Rizzer...

But

I will rage... rage against the... dying of the light..."

She then turns her attention to Moranus

"I .. greet you... Mountain Man. I am ...Geiyara. We... both Gods... of the earth."

Moranus watches as Geiyara makes a large forest in the center of the map. He then listens to Na-rizzer talk about life and death. "Interesting, you two can have your fun with that." He leans forward and looks over the map for a moment. "Geiyara, you may have all that is above, but I will get all that is below. I hope that sounds fair to you." He sits back in his chair with his hand on his beard as he thinks of what to do first.

Not spending this turn.

The Erratic Lord produces two brittle brightly colored stones in his hands. He shows them around with a sweeping gesture of his outstretched arms and finally lets them touch each other, above the center of the map.

With a mischievous grin on his face, he starts rubbing them against each other. Bright dust starts raining onto the map.

Creating a small desert made of colored rocks and sand, a bit south of the forest (shape 1 unit of land for 3; 3 remaining)

Up to this point, Temeron the Dreamer had not spoken a word. But now that is is sure he got everyone's attention, he introduces himself with a bow.

"Greetings, my fellow godlings. You may call me Temeron. You may call me by any other name as well, if that suits you better. Really, I don't want to impose any rules on you. One to give life, one to take it, as above so below, and ... well someone with an appreciation of hair it seems. Looks like we've got everything important taken care of. Excellent!"

Temeron points at Na-Rizzer's book and asks: "May I see that for a moment? ... and also the pen."

If she gives it to him:

He opens a new page and writes:

Temeron: defacing the book of notes.

Underneath he draws a picture of a peacock that fills the whole page.

Then he closes it and hands it back to her.

She hands him the book and Pen, then when he is done she takes them back, after She looks at him slyly.

"Arr, the 1st book critic and with that, we have ourselves two tricksters gods. this WILL be a happy world. Humm... half of my work is already gone."

She says with a smile, snapping her book closed and slipping it away.

He returns her smile, as he protests: "Not gone, but changed. You had a book of sins before, now you have a book of sins and peacocks. Now the question is: does that make the peacock a sinful animal, or does it make me a sinner?"

She nods and pulls from under the folds of her clothing a number of books, in fact the same number has gods.

"Unlike my sister who takes her time and fills the world with life, I have to know what that life did. Must is with out free will and as such dos as fate dictates its life should be. Fate is not my area that sits between us all as we shape this world. No I follow things that have the gift of free will. The ability to chose and outcome, take an action of there own validation. Everything with freewill has its own book of life. Listing all the events with in it derived from freewill. You will note the ones before us are our own. They have no end as we are immortal. But we must always remember that even our immorality is relive to this reality outside of it we may be as mortal as any being we craft. From the books you, I and others can decide if a soul or being of free will is fit for an afterlife you may wish to craft. As the god of the Dreamlands you may wish to place them with in dream itself. My sister may offer them rebirth into life once more. The god of the earth may wish to place them on the plan of earth to become elemental's say. As gods that is your propagative and right. I am Death I do not judge I but keep records that you at any time can peruse as an aid to your Judgement."

She puts the books away into her clothing, then sits back.

"I will bring the dead to you with their life book. It is up to you as their chosen, you will then decide to allow them to pass on OR to hand them other to me for punishment and reconsiderations. Any with out a god will have no afterlife but fade into the weave of the world. As the god of magic about that."

She moves her hands to indicate the map.

"I may be and evil god, and that is really down to perspective. Few see death as anything but evil. But when a life ends and is judged needing of punishment. The being will spend time in my underworld. The punishment will be simple and utterly fitting. Their book of life will be read to them, every small hurt, every tinny harm done to others will be examined. Before them will be every being they stole from, every life taken, each pain inflicted, every lover scorned, and being being the hurt or harmed will have there chance to ask the dammed, why do they did as they did? there will be no hiding from shame, no twisting or spinning the truth, Nothing will be hidden, all will be exposed. If after that they are unrepentant well they will be mine to claim. I shall craft them in to a Demon or Devil as I see it and place them with in a layer of the 9 hells there to suffer my wrath. Think on it, what more fitting a punishment"

She crossed her legs and held out her hand inspecting her nails.
In a compassionate voice she says.

"You may think me curl god, unfeeling, unkind, but I hope you will see this is the very hight of kindness."

She put her hand down and looked at them all once more this time with a hard look of a God making a point.

"What is the purpose of sentient life if it has no end point from witch assess its value and worth. This worlds history and myths will be built with such lives. Heroes and villains will shape the very ideology and cultures of souls and civilizations. I have said all this so you known I care most deeply about our world and what may become of it. I care for the beings we will craft and the history's they will forge. How we Judge ourselves as gods comes down to how we mange and shape our world. Destruction for a gods amusement alone is futile and infantile."

She looks over at Dream and theft now her voice is hard and direct.

"the acts of a children with playing toys, and a petulant ones at that. One god tugs a girl hair in the playground, the other doodles in his school book, petty mischievous behaviour something I would expect from a one day old god. Is this what we can expect from you two humm. Childishness?".. While you have been thinking on high-junks, my sister has made life, Father Earth looking into how to shape the land. I have been thinking on the after life and how later the world may be Sheppard with beings of freewill. We seem to take our responsibility's to this world seriously. So as god to god how would you judge yourselves, sinful? fitting for this world?, capable of crafting it to greatness? able to do more than play games with it?"

She unlocks her eyes from theirs. When she talks next its sounds like an understanding mother talking to her kids.

"We shall see wan't we. We can only hope you two tricksters are capable of more than petulant and child like behaver."

She looks once more at the map studding it in detail, its seems the telling off is over.

We could move on and have them join later, as if they had merely been saving points since the beginning, or we could stay in this round until they join, or we could move on entirely and I could either reopen recruitment or select another player. Aurus for his part gives off another mocking grin from below his covered mouth. But the senses of gods were great and vast, so was his intent, below that charm was for the first time sense his arrival a sudden power that belittled his form and threatened even fellow gods. The queen had erred with him.

"You speak as if you know us, as if we are some how less. Then I invite you to read that tome you claim is mine."

If the tome is opened, it is blank. Every page is empty and clean, Na-Rizzer knew nothing of Aurus nor would she ever.

"All that I am, is my own. Only what I give will be otherwise. You can not steal from me, for I am simply better then you in that. You do not judge, so you claim, then your tomes are nigh worthless. A account of actions devoid of emotion, intent, and character. Pen them if you must, but life is not so limited. Then why would we be so. Caution queen of death, we are all equal lest you forget. We do as we wish without need or obligation to explain ourselves."

The threatening power coming from Aurus vanishes as quickly as it came. Were he not being looked upon by gods he would vanish along with it, yet even their omnipotent perceptions found it hard to focus on him now.

"You have made yourself clear. Some seem clear to you. You seek to make those that are unknown to you, clear."

His mocking smile this time is just that, mocking the goddess.

"You have my sympathies, I doubt you will gain the clarity you seek."

He shot Temeron a wink.

She looks sideways as her fellow talks and flashes his anger. After he stops she looks at him a moment then throws her head back and laughs a cold hard evil maniacal laughter, it chilling sound reverberates around the hall of gods for a while.

"O god of theft, please stop"

laughter again.

"O, sympathies for the Devil, that is rich, you have me there"

She then says wiping a tear from her eye.

"and we need no divine book to know you, actions always speck louder then words, Your 1st impression then is one of a childish trickster then charmer and a Joker, but under that we find one who likes to hid himself and his actions and with no little pride behind it. humm I think so, yes I think we should call you the God of Secrets more than the God of Theft, being secret seems to be by far the bigger of the two occupations."

Then she says in a helpful voice all advice and sweetness, reaching over and patting his leg in a friendly way.

"So that all said, claim yourself God of Secrets, take a rest.. think on what you will add to the world we make.. We are indeed all equal in power but not as yet equal in deed."

She then sits back and points are the God map of the world.

"Who will shape it next?"

You can feel free to RP, but it seems that we are at an impasse until we gain a 6th player, unless you would like to have said player enter into the 2nd round, in which case we can move in.

Slowly coming down from the ceiling is a soft beam of pale light. It coalesces into a form, a little male, a little female, a bit of both. With a almost stiffness to it, the next to arrive takes the closest spot that is open and looks down on the tableau below. It has no clothing, but no real need of other as such as well. Slender, too slender, too tall, too gangling.

Pardon the tardiness, I was taken with looking all over creation when I noticed you all gathered. It takes time for light to reach some places

As you watch, the table expands to make room for another seat, this one made of an ivory-colored stone. A bearded man appears beside it, nervously glancing at the pocketwatch he pulls from his tailored waistcoat, which seems to be made of a papery material. Before your very eyes, ink scribbles criss-cross his clothes before being replaced by new words.
Pardon me, I'm afraid that I'm here on behalf of my master, while he takes care of business elsewhere. I'm Fleschet, the god of scribes and herald of the king of gods, the great and noble Alakhmen! I consider myself a patron of the arts, of words and their meanings.
He patiently waits for introductions, before continuing in his rapid, breathy, voice. Ah, but how rude of me to take up your time, I shall be about my work.

With that, he waves his hand across the board, creating a small valley at the center of the island that lies to the east of your continent. On behalf of myself and my master, this shall be the beginnings of a great civilization! Although, of course, that may very well depend on your definition of a civilization. Good day to you all!
With that, he vanishes, and the table shrinks once again to accommodate his disappearance.

Aurus glanced at the so called queen but said not a word. He was not one to repeat himself. His existence was one of contradiction towards the gods, for if they were as untouchable as they believed. How could he steal from them, walk upon their domains unbidden, and be a slayer. Children learn from their mistakes, only adults believe in absolutes. So he would prefer to be a child for all eternity then even a moment as an adult, less he find himself dead from with in and without.

Temeron returns Aurus' wink.

Then, after a moment, he looks puzzled, as if only now realizing that he has no idea what that wink was all about.

When Miolla arrives and introduces themselves, Temeron is seemingly impressed and nods approvingly.
"I like your style, moon. Henceforth, I shall create the most beautiful things and dream the most colorful dreams under your silver light!"

And thus it was established that people would sleep and dream at night when the moon travels the sky, or would stay awake working, hoping for a late night creative breakthrough.

His mood darkens when the scribe visits. He contains himself while the visitor is present, but once he left, Temeron snarls:

"'Patron of arts', bah! Comes in here and acts like he is something better than us, just because he is the king's favored god." A puzzled expression appears on his face again. "Heeeey, wait a moment. Who is this king anyway? We aren't ruled by a king, are we?"

He turns to Na-Rizzer: "Do you know anything about a king? Do you have anything about a king in your books?"

Turning to Aurus: "You don't know anything either, do you? I mean: if we had a king, you would have stolen his crown already, right?"

"Anyone else ever heard of that king before? Moon, did you see the king when you were traveling the sky? Geiyara, any sign of a king in your roots or treetops? Mountain god, any kings under your mountains?"

Turning a sly eye to Moranus.

"What if you desecrate mine. Seems to me like your picking a fight. I don't tell you about what I will do, if, you do something. Yet your telling me what you will do, if, I do something.
