Congratulations on being accepted, feel free to RP your gods while I think about how to best introduce you all.

Witch Queen of hell "Na-Rizzer" checking in

Looking out over her ranks of cowing Devils the 18' tall Witch angel says to herself.

"Arrr, So may souls to claim, and so little time to clean them"

She then looks over at her maps,

"The world needs shaping let me think on this"

So she is ready I think to start.

Current Points: 5

"How... tired, this land is."

"Like a sapling... slumbering, in the winter."

"Awaken, young sapling."

"Soon, the world will be born..."

Current Points: 20

"A fresh canvas to work with. I cannot wait to see what the final product will look like."

Current Points: 30

"Wow that's boring. Needs a lot of stuff, I got plenty for it in this one stash."

Temeron enters the stage nervously. Of course he has no reason to be nervous. After all he is a god. He created all those shadow creatures watching him right now. Created them just right now, just to have an audience for his speech, to be precise. But Temeron the Dreamer feels it is appropriate to be nervous for such an important speech, so he tries his best to be genuinely nervous as he begins:

"Friends! Fellow creatures of night and shadow! Let us build a world of color. Let us make colorful little things that grow and spread and scuttle around and let us call them life. Let us let them build pretty little things and let them give their pretty little things goofy names, like 'house' or 'kettle' or 'umbrella'. Oh, let's watch them build these things and scurry around with them and have them make their world even more colorful. And then let us fill their houses, kettles, and umbrellas with bright red liquid rock - and let us call that 'lava'. Oh, so much fun we will have!"

Everyone's looking good so far, I'm just waiting for the last player to check in.

All right, Remnant said that he'll post later today, so I'll get things started!
Just a reminder, if you ever are unclear about the Dawn of Worlds rules, there is a link to the ruleset in the campaign info tab.

Is every one ok with my god being the death God, good after lives being what other gods do , she has the bad one for evil souls etc. it's why she is seen as evil, because she punishes sinners. Thinking only the dead or gods / aviators can enter her realm.
The he,le being more like Haydis over biblical hell.

Current Points: 5

Yeah I think it's perfectly fine. Geiyara could really use some counter balance. If anyone thinks of picking up fire, that might be a good idea as well.

Originally I pictured Geiyara as more a God of elements, but I ran out of room for domains. Instead, I focused on plants and animals, which I think is a good direction to go.

Current Points: 20

I already got you covered on fire. I mean if my god is pretty much all about the mountains, might as well have volcanoes.

God of dreams (0 points)

Does that mean everyone who dies in our world goes to hell? Poor little fantasy world inhabitants.

The more I think about Temeron, the more I realize he is the Captain Jack Sparrow of gods. So if anyone of your characters could drop the line "You are the worst god I ever heard of" at some point, I would highly appreciate that.

Current Points: 30

I don't have a problem with Na-Rizzer being a god of death, but I do have a problem with her being the god of death. Gods are not untouchable, Na-Rizzer herself owes her godhood to this very fact in her backstory. Being the god of death means stewardship and impartiality concerning death. Being a being both of law and evil with a manipulative nature, Na-Rizzer does not fit that bill to me and gains enormously from the position. So being a god of death with power over the dead and a say over their fate, thinking lawyer from hell, I am cool with. Kinda like her meddling that way to be honest. Being the god of death with the ability to judge the fate of the dead and those without any god claiming them, not cool with. Thats my two holy words on that. xP

Also can we agree on a set number of main domains and sub domains. Seems to me like everyone is not even in that respect. Personally I have been going off the pathfinder gods, 5 main domains and 6 sub domains taken from the pool the main domains create.

As for Temeron, not seen enough of you to drop that line. But if you keep it up, you may just get it. ;)

I would prefer that everyone sticks to the standard number of domains, which I believe is 4+alignment.
To answer Pandorica's question, there will be NPC gods coming in every now and again, and the table is always growing and shrinking to accommodate them.
Teleron-If you want, I can have one of the NPC gos say that, I think I have a good one for the line later down the road.

I was taking Asmodeus but more a female Hades Greek god of the underworld etc.

His Domains are.

Domains: Evil, Law, Magic, Trickery, Fire
Subdomains: Arcane, Ash, Deception, Devil, Divine, Smoke

So 4 Domains 5: Subdomains
I do agree with OmniChoas [Who seems to want to represent Chaos] in a way, but your idea of a god of death my not be mine or others. Hades was anything but impartial, He was resentful and super intelligent and manipulate. Had problems with his Jock brother. Lets face it, classic mussels over brains story

The Greek idea of life was that being grate or doing great deeds meant more than the later idea of sin good and evil, If you lived a boring safe life then off to hell you went. Being a tyrant meant you did great things so A better afterlife for you etc.

How ever I am going to drop law, and shift her to NE so she is a true counter to
NG Geiyara "The Tree of Life"
Also she is ruler of the underworld not the hells now. Think that works better, then undead, Demons devils come under her, and she keep the peace and stops a blood war braking out. The layers of hell then are LE/NE/CE with three layer in each. Seems fitting.

This will mean she loses the law part, and the "fighting Chaos".
But I am ok with that. She is cantered on N Evil

The Law / Chaos lines will have to be covered by other gods.

Earth Law V Thief Chaos may be cool, you steeling his riches etc.

this would also make a nice male/female gods cross over, But that's not up to me.

Her
Domains: Evil, Death, Knowledge, Nobility, Fire.
Sub Domains: Demon, Devil, Fear, Aristocracy, Thought, Corruption.

She has nothing to judgement, souls are sent to her for punishment WHEN they have been Judged evil, sinful bad, or they are hers to claim.

Really bad souls she promotes into her ranks of underworld monsters.
So some may see that as a good afterlife. Tyrants. monsters etc

EDIT and expanded

Name: The God of Death "Na-rizzer"
Titles: "Queen of the underworld" "Lady Death" "The Temptress" "The Mother of monsters"
Type of god: Greater God
Aliment: NE
Origin: The beginning of the world
Home location: The underworld / Hades / The 9 layered Hell
Domains: Evil, Death, Knowledge, Nobility, Trickery.
Sub Domains: Demon, Devil, Fear, Aristocracy, Undead, Corruption.
Symbol: A Skill of any kind
Colors: Black and Red
Animals: The Raven
Weapon: The Scythe
Worshipers: Monsters, assassins, Undead, evil do'ers, Tyrants, Rulers, ruthless Power Seekers, Devils, Demons, Slavers, Witches, Evil cults, Drill Sargent's, Executioners, politicians, killers.

Mythic history:
The Queen of Death "Na-rizzer" came into being with the beginning of the world. As a being of vase power who's rain stared with the beginning of time with her sister Geiyara "The Tree of Life". Geiyara made the 1st mortal life bur for it to be mortal Na-rizzer had to offered it the gift of death. Death is the means to make space for life's growth and offspring. So the 1st things died and became part of the underworld. A dark mirror of creation and life. To "Na-rizzer" the taste of death is sweet, so much so she has always sort other dead things to add to her underworld. Most of all souls with sin, which she finds most sweet of all. Once eaten she places them in the ranks of the underworld, there to be punished or made into monsters.

Seems better.

==============================

She has nothing to judgement of souls and she dos not have fate or judgement as Domains.

Souls are ether,

1: Sent to her for punishment WHEN they have been Judged evil, sinful bad, by others or there gods

2: They are hers to claim EI, they give themselves to her.

In this way, corrupted or Really bad souls may seek her as she may promise them that after death she will place them high into her ranks of underworld monsters. Tyrants. monsters etc may seek that and that is why they follow her and work her evils plans.

So she is an Evil being who's highly intelligent and supremely manipulative by nature and need.
Why?
well she has to.
1: Bring death to all mortal things,
2: Rule over monsters within her realms and reach.
3: Find those that would hide from or cheat death.
4: Find ways to claim more souls into her lands of death.

So yes she is the god of death, she controls the fate only of the dammed souls that get into her hands. She is always meddling with the world with her complex plans etc.

The cool thing is you can then have Monsters that ether join her, made by her or reject her. good souls gone bad my become really bad to gain favour with her. She is seen as the enemy by most, as death often is.
After all life will rage ageist her.

I have also changed her back story to reflect this shift in her being.

Every world need a ture villain.

Current Points: 5

I'm perfectly fine with having a specific counter to Geiyara. Hopefully though, you will also take part in your own creations, rather than always destroying/corrupting my own.

Geiyara "The Tree of Life" wrote:

Very much so, one of her titles is the "Mother of Monsters" If she dos not make them herself she will enrage other gods to make them. She will also need to make lands for them. So expect from her some undead, ware bests and all the nice things you like to find down a nice old Dungeon hehe.

The 1st thing she is going to try and make are Dragons, But I fully see other gods taking them off her or even SHOCK HORROR making them good!! She will not be happy but she is the balancing villain type and so she can't always get her way.

GM how much do Dragons cost 22PP?

But rememberer she will always be working her plans, hehe
We already have a god of shadows so she will of course enrage him to make some dark and evil undead shades and ghosts.
Thief god may make some bad things, Drow?
Giant's and dwarf I think will be the Mountain man thing.
Humans, Elves, etc your.
Gnomes our lord of magic/fey etc

Well you get the idea, yes she will be making as well as tainting.

But I see also a balance, more ying and yang thing more than always at war. You never know losing sometime may be part of her plan to keep a balance in place. She may after all love her sister no hate her.

Like I said, I'll be creating humans naturally, and other NPC gods may create other races as well, if I think it's appropriate. I'll do my best to not screw with your stuff unless it really fits, but I will definitely have other gods pop in every now and again. Please let me know if I'm doing well with the other gods, as I'd like to try to make them an entertaining side-part of the game, but if they're too much of an influence, please tell me and I'll have them act less.

With regards to creating dragons, I'll let you create them for 22, which is what it says, but please try to keep them relatively balanced. Some of them can evolve into true dragons, which will obviously be far more terrifying, but for the sake of game balance I'd like the majority to be about the same power level as standard races. Same goes for all other races created.

Edit: If everyone could do what Aurus did, and have their point total underneath their name, I'd really appreciate it.

But I'm already CN.

Actually I think we have a perfect cross now, with the thief being N.

Plus I can already see the plain hard working god of earth being the polar opposite of the exuberant god of dreams.

Current Points: 30

All I will say is Aurus is complicated, he is N for a reason. Don't think he is on anyone's side for good or ill. He may help you, he may hurt you, or he may just mess with you in some strange or seemingly pointless way. It is never simple with him, keep that in mind. xD

Temeron if you want chaos, have at it. I never claimed it. I won't step on your toes, well maybe sometimes but not in a constant manner.

It do's sound like Temeron and Aurus, The First Thief like to do the same thing, two whimsical trickster gods who mess with morals hehe.

Current Points: 30

Concerning monsters, unless Aurus gets a lot of points. Not really worth it at this point. We have a plain flat world to build on, not much for any race at the moment to have.

God of dreams (0 points)

Aurus, no problem here. I think we will get along nicely. I don't mind another trickster god. Nor would I mind another chaotic god for that matter. I was just playing upset because Na-Rizzer seemed to have overlooked me when looking for a chaotic counterpart to the earth god. Sorry if that came across wrong.

GM sorry forgot you where doing Humans.

Temeron, Sorry for over looking you, yes of course you would be a great counter to earth / reality I should have spotted that. But remember that was OOC here not in game play, as the moment we know little about each other in game play.

PS:
Right you pear of Jokers mummy has just given you a telling off.
So be told, hehe.

I have messaged our final player, and will do so again tonight. Should they not respond by tomorrow evening, you as the players have a decision to make. We could move on and have them join later, as if they had merely been saving points since the beginning, or we could stay in this round until they join, or we could move on entirely and I could either reopen recruitment or select another player. Thoughts?

If they still do not get back to you after tonight, I would be happy to see recruitment open again for another player.

Current Points: 30

No worries Temeron, it's all good fun. Now watch me let mummy know we an't no kids. Big bro has your back and look I got you a new book. Don't worry about where I got it, check out the peacock drawing. xP

All god fun, she is after all the baddie, if she is the butt of jokes and the one you fight agilest I am fine with that.

She I hope will be the nightmare that kids have every night. Also the master of the place those that steal go to after death.

That is unless you offer an alternative to thwart her evil plans :)

Hoppy to move on to round 2

Indistinct Gender: Rd 8 3 Pts being saved

Just posted as I think some of you all have noticed

Miolla is mostly going to stick to their own area and act pretty out of touch until we make our own race, then focus on that one and seem like out of it until provoked.

Mostly

Miolla comes out at night, mostly

Excellent, I'm glad to see that we're good to go. That said, I think it's time to move on to round 2!

I'm keeping a list of the deities that have made an appearance in the Campaign Info tab, just for reference. So far the role-playing has been amazing, keep it up!

Order of play
Fleschet God of scribes [herald of the king of gods]
made A valley
Alakhmen [King of the gods]

Whos up next.

Aurus: Rolled(6, 5) +4pp +1 = 16 [gets +1 for having under 5 points]
Miolla: Rolled(6, 4) +6pp = 16

Geiyara: Rolled(5, 5) +2pp+1 = 13 [gets +1 for having under 5 points]

Na-Rizza:Rolled(3, 3) +6pp = 12

Teleron: Rolled(2, 3) +3+1pp = 9 [gets +1 for having under 5 points]

I'm not overly strict in what order you post, so the only time the order really comes into play is if multiple people try to affect the same thing. That said, thank you very much for helping out and clarifying all the random stuff I post, I really appreciate all the help.

Edit: Just a heads up now, I created the "King of Gods", primarily as a plot device to see what you guys did with it. You don't have to worry about an omnipotent being messing with you guys, he was mostly just a good way to introduce Fleschen.

Current Points: 30

May want to name your terrain? I plan to if I ever get around to making my own. I just think unless we have a real detailed map with a grid, it's going to get real confusing real quick if we have more then one of any terrain feature. Which we should. ;)

Not to mention in Temeron's case, we may want to have it's unique trait down somewhere.

Talking of maps and such,

Miolla The Moon wrote:
Spend 3 points to make some rivers and so forth.

Miolla where on the map would you like your 1' of Rivers to be?

I think we are doing N/S/E/W etc so NE or SW etc are ok I think as well.
We may even have cost as a location.

GM whats the Inch grid of the map, in the PDF is about 30'x15'

Na-Rizza, what maps are you talking about? If you mean in the rulebook, that's just an example, and since my drawing skills are abysmal, I'm afraid that we don't have a map. For the purposes of inches, I'd assume that the continent is 15x20, and that the island is 3x3.
Naming things is definitely a good idea, and I'll try to keep an updated list of geographic changes you've made, so that if you need to remember something, we have a reference source.

God of dreams (0 points)

How about a google docs spreadsheet for a map?
We could make different colored cells, add text and comments, and it wouldn't require any drawing skills to speak of.

I'll take a look at it and see if I can figure it out, I'd love to have a map, so I'll see if I can make it work.
Edit: Okay, so the basic map is up and running. I'm still messing with it, and it's definitely not very good, but it's better than nothing. The link is in Campaign Info.

God of dreams (0 points)

Can you check the permissions? I get an error message when I try to open that link.

Also would you mind to surround the links with [url] tags to make them clickable?

Indistinct Gender: Rd 8 3 Pts being saved

Lets have my rivers and such touch the coast in an e\w fashion (following along my path so to speak)
Otherwise not too concerned as to where they are

Temeron, I surrounded the link with [url] and [/url], but it didn't seem to do anything, but I think I fixed the link, if you want to take another look at it. I don't know how to make it so you can edit it, so you'll just have to tell me where to put things.

Miolla-The link to the map is in the campaign info tab, could you pick a square to have them in, you can only affect one inch at a time, unless you choose to spend more points.

God of dreams (0 points)

No, still doesn't work for me. I still get a message from google that the document doesn't exist.

Try this:
inside the spreadsheet, click the menu "file", then "share...". Then click the small text in the bottom right that says "advanced". Then there should be something like "private. only you can access" with a link labeled "change". Click there and then click "on. anyone with a link".

Concerning the url tags, seems like you need to write it like this:
(url=https://something)Some Text(/url), but with square brackets instead of round brackets

Current Points: 30

Why am I the only one who has acted in the 2nd round. Come on even Temeron gave me no reaction. xP

Don't get me wrong, all this tech stuff is appreciated.

God of dreams (0 points)

My plan was to look at the map before spending my points. Sorry to keep you waiting.

Current Points: 30

No problem, personally not yet interested in making any terrain so my options are kinda limited and making small adjustments here and there. Just glad we don't have a weather god, he may get mad at me. ;)
