Hskavati |
RP-wise, Hskavati isn't the type of paladin that tries to push their worldview on others. While slightly naive (she tends to believe what people tell her, unless it is either proved wrong or she know otherwise), she is aware enough that she know people rarely change. She tries to be pleasant to everyone that she meets, no matter how they treat her. However, she extremely dislikes people who abuse animals, as well as those who purposefully destroy things of beauty.
In combat, she will typically offer most sentient enemies at least a chance to surrender. Unless/until they surrender, she will attempt to bring them down in ways that will not kill them (nonlethal). Additionally, she refrains from attacking them until they have made any hostile action against her or her allies. She will also attempt to do this (and try to convince others to as well) for creatures that cannot willingly surrender, such as animals or beings who are mentally controlled. However, she does not extend this offer to obviously evil entities, such as fiendish/demonic forces or individuals who raise the dead.

Heres a very rough draft of my submission. I still have some fine-tuning to do on his equipment (such as consumables etc) but I think the major idea for him is here. Gonna be pretty cool using a pistol to buff my spells OR use my spells to buff my pistol haha.

Manus Ferrum |
TerrorOfDeath submission here.
Manus didn't have much of a life outside his father's smithing shop, except for the occasional customer he had very few people to talk to. Well in trying to use some new material he caused the forge to explode, destroying the forge, fatally injuring him self, and was knocked unconscious. His father was determined to help his son, so he had started working on a project while his son was unconscious, working none stop for several days. Finishing it the day before Manus woke up. After awaking a week later after the explosion, he was horrified to discover that his arms were amputated. His father rushed to him to calm him down. He then revealed that he had been working on new arms for Manus. Ever since Manus then he had made it his personal to goal to thank his father for what he did by doing what ever he can for the shop. After a couple of years, his father comes down with a sickness that can only be helped by a very expensive medicine. So after hearing about the old women's request and payment he couldn't refuse.

Drat, I was hoping that it is available at level 3. Oh well, it is good to know we can get a discount on magic items from Mira. I think I will go easy on magic items such as getting maybe a haversack and a thing or two. Will have to decline the scabbard though. Lenna is a secondary fighter. She is more focused on the casting area. Btw, I finished fluff. Only crunch to go.

Wrapping up Sunreturn's sheet soon and uploading it.
Still working out equipment and an oracle's curse.
What do you think of this 3PP curse for an unhurried plant creature?
Phlegmatic [3PP]
Source Oracle’s Curse, copyright 2014 by RJ Grady, published by Tripod Machine.
Your spirit is unhurried and you move only with purpose and after due deliberation.
Effect
Your initiative check result is limited to your curse level, but you can never be made flat-footed. You can still lose your Dexterity bonus to AC if you are immobilized, or if an opponent feints you or is invisible.
At 5th level, add calm emotions or hold person (your choice) to your spells known.
At 10th level, any time you move no more than 5 feet in a round, you gain a luck bonus to AC equal to your Charisma bonus, but no more than half your curse level. This luck bonus to AC improves your CMD as well.
At 15th level, you gain immunity to fear.

I'm fine with that. Doesn't seem OP, a book-keeping pain, or otherwise problematic.

He finally awoke to the jolt of being carried over a shoulder as it seemed he was exiting the lab. He quickly looked back to see his father dead on the floor with several big gashes and a few burn marks. The lab was all messed up, and on fire. And a person sized mound of what looked like red meat on a table (Yep, that’s all your gonna get. You’re welcome). Looking at his captors he saw people he had only heard about in stories. These were adventurers! But they had killed his father! And, speaking of..where was his mother? So he asked. His question was not followed up by silence, per’se, just several rounds of wrenching. Maybe they were sick? Kendis got sick sometimes and it caused him to throw up. They must be sick. And one of them would cry whenever they looked at him. She wore some cloth robes that had the same symbol scattered everywhere on it. Kendis thought it looked silly but eh..They never did answer his question about his mother, quite adamantly actually. But they took him with them wherever they travelled. (I’mma stop here because there is so much more to tell, but I’ll leave that for another time…)
Kendis was told what had happened eventually and as such lost all faith in…well anything really. He gave a metaphorical middle finger to the gods, his father, and that adventuring party (Because apparently a simple casting of confusion is a TPK. Thanks fighter and barbarian!) Anywho, After that he pretty much just went into business for himself. He’d take quests that were intended for full groups and succeed easily. Apparently he just couldn’t die, weird huh? Oh and many tried, fret not.
So his personality is, as you’d expect of a person who gave a finger to all and thinks he can’t die. That being said, he has a great wit and a….’good?’ , albeit dark, sense of humor.

Thanks for the submissions, all! It was a very tough process narrowing the field and picking a party, particularly with so many faces I've had the pleasure of playing with before. Here were my final selections but if someone has to drop out for some reason, I might PM some of you to jump in:
Mira
Zoltar
Sunreturn
Lenna Obon
Those selected, jump into discussion. To the rest, I hope to see you around soon!
