Darafane listens to Nadia and then says. Are you kidding me ? You have a map! What does it say? We need to warn or give it to the proper authorities. Your questioning the Dark one over thats all well and good. I know from my travels with him he is shady one but not once has he ever let me down. What he says is true. A few weeks ago this place was different and peaceful. Now Giants are running amok and the City of Suzail is under a spell. Ziago said you were a good person and that the Royalty here messed with your family or some such nonsense. Now you want to wait before something happens! Something is happening its called an invasion and we need to go to the aid of the others before the Light is lost here. If you are so selfish as to not want to get involved at least give the map to the next Knight we meet. I am traveling with Ziago to repay a debt.
What dreams are you having?

The Green Knight sits down on the ground in front of you and waits for you to answer.

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Nadia takes a deep breath. Easy girl, don't hyperventilate now. You opened your big mouth, go on. Tell the man what he wants to hear. She sighs. Ziago, you have been acting strange since you came back from whatever quest you two went on. I can't help but feel it may be related to this. We are friends. We are family. You can choose to keep things from me, but I will learn the truth.

She turns to Dara, too tired to argue & knowing full well she won't win. She lowers herself to the ground and takes the potion from Ziago. Fine. I'll tell you. We might as well rest while I do. Then we'll send warning to the encampment & head to the Stormhorms. We don't have much time, but we have some and if we use it wisely, we may be able to do far more than save a few soldiers.

Nadia explains to Dara about the man she's seen in her dreams, the strange man carrying a spear. It all just spills out, how he comes and seems to want to warn her about something, but she can't understand what. When I finally start to hear his voice, he dissapears. I can't keep up and I'm left wondering what it is he's trying to warn me about. For weeks he's been coming to me, like a visitation. But those aren't possible are they? The gods forgot about me long ago. Why would they send a warning now?

Darafane listens to young woman. As he listens her discription mathces that of the Eladrain Halfbreed he met from another quests.
It sounds like you are dreaming of Darahome the cursed. In case you do not know the tale, I will tell you. When Faerun was young the Feywild interacted more than it does now. The Eladrin the Fey came here and made war with the Giants. These Giants now are nothing compared to what they were. There was division in the Courts of the Fey. The Seelie and Unseelie, Summer and Winter if you will. During the time of peace between the Eladrin and the Giants there was prophecy given. That the two waring races would sire a child who would bring ruin to both. As it would happen the Winter Queen Lanarhea fell in love with the Frost Giant King Heraxes. They sired a child called Darahome. Corellon Larethian the deities of the Eladrian and Elves became furious. He brought news of this the Summer Court and the war returned to the Feywild. The Giants did not take this well and the Cloud Giants formed an army to go after King Heraxes. The Winter Court allied with the Frost Giants and fought both armies.
Darahome recieved a vision from a goddess to form a weapon that would kill giants. His father told him not to build but Darahome not belonging in either world forged the weapon. He then used it to kill his father and brothers. The war ended and Darahome vanished along with Ragenair the giant slayer. This obsidan spear was lost to time, till recently. The Zhents made a deal about 200 years ago with Bandit King who lived in the Halls of Evening Star. Me self, Ziago, and another companion found the weapon.
A young drow looking fella showed up and fought us. The good queen Lanarhera showed up to stop him but this Darahome left with it. And Ziagon and I left the Halls barely alive. We were going to track it down but Ziago got word for Ib Brewleaf that you were at Neverwinter. So we traveled north to get you. Now there are giants and spells at work, I think this all releated. What say you girl..

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

After listening to Darafane's tale and resting a while a look of certainty falls over Nadia's face. She know's now that her dream and the giant races attacking are related and dangerous magic is afoot.

Still a little weak, but gaining strenght from the quick effect of Ziago's potion, she stands, determined to make her next move. I must remember to thank Ziago; but that'll have to wait for now. She looks at her companions and she knows what she needs to do. I say you're right and everything is somehow connected, I just don't know how yet. So we're going straight to the giants. They are the ones we need to stop. If we happen upon any other knights, we'll warn them of the dangers that are coming, unless either of you wants to go directly to the encampment and warn them. But I will not sacrifice the entirety of the map to them, it is far to valuable. I say we move onward to the Stormhorms. There's something much bigger going on and I for one, want to know what it is; the strength in her voice shocking her by sounding a lot more sure of herself than she felt. What say you?

HP:31/31 | AC 13 | Int +2 | Warlock/4

Ziago looks over and says So we will go and kill giants. Outstanding! in the old days of the Feywild we hunted them. Now let us be a foot with this hunt. If Darahome happens to show up again I will kill him. If this Queen show up we will see what happens after all I may tickle her fancy.
Ziago mounts his horse.

During this time the group took a short rest and recovered hit points and spells used.

As the acid leaves Nadia's hands the Orgre cries out over the pain. Then the statue glows and lighting bolt strikes from it. The Orgre goes down in ball of lighting. A unicorn then appears from the darkness with Darafane on the back. Ziago makes his way pulling his wand. The unicorn is black with a purple mane.
Be at peace drow. I have no quarrel with you or with you girl.] The unicorn says to Naida and Ziago. Darafane seems be asleep. His armor is bent and broken in spots.
Lurue has heard her champion's call.. I come to help and to aid you in this moment. Do not fret Darafane sleeps and is healing well. As for you Ziago, your patron sends her blessing as well A blue flares on the horn and the wounds on Ziago heal.
You need not worry young maiden. Lurue is generous to those who woudl aid her. Another flash of light and Nadia's wounds are healed.
When the Green Knight awakes tell him Lurue is pleased. The darkness that threatens this land will not be tolerable to the Lady of Light. She will aid him when he calls. In the morning you will find a road north into the mountains. That is one you seek. Be well..The Unicorn drops Darafane to the ground gently.

HP:31/31 | AC 13 | Int +2 | Warlock/4

Ziago looks stunned and then say Did not know the gnome was favored..

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Nadia looks just as stunned as Ziago, Did... Did that just happen? She looks at where her wounds previously were Yes cupcake, they're gone. How is this possible? He must serve his goddess well. She says more to herself than anyone else. Looking at Ziago, who's gazing at his non-existent wounds with the same perplexed look she knows she has. Well, since there's no imminent danger, let's get Dara and let him rest. We should be fine until morning. But should probably leave at first light though. What say you?

HP:31/31 | AC 13 | Int +2 | Warlock/4

While the gnome sleeps. I want to ask you, what is your first memory of me? Ziago asks.

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Oh he wants to remember. Why does he want to remember? I hate remembering. You know he won't let up, just tell him what you remember.

Nadia sighed. Since when was Ziago so sentimental? She sat, legs crossed, close to the fire. She made sure to be in clear view of Darafane's sleeping form; the messenger may have said he'd be fine, but she was still skeptical. The gods haven't been exactly kind to her.

She hated remembering, and when she did; she tried to remember only the good times, and there weren't very many of those. Finally she could see the earliest encounter she saved of her mentor. She looked at him; a far away look in her eyes. The memory was vivid now, and as she remembered, she spoke.

I was young. Not much older than the small child we met at the inn in the village a few days back. I was full of fancy then, craving companion & attention. She smiled a forlorn smile. Remembering those days was very rarely pleasant, why her mentor was making her do so now was confusing. I was following my brothers everywhere, mimicking them, trying to learn what they did to get my father's attention. Ha! Oh, how it vexed them.

One day I was running through the orchards. I don't remember what I was chasing, but I do remember chasing after something; a shadow perhaps... I recall a figure amidst the trees. I'm not sure why, but I wasn't afraid. Perhaps chasing my brothers had made me fearless, perhaps I was just foolish.

I didn't know it was you at first. But I knew not to be afraid. I spoke of the figure among the trees that night and every night after for weeks, but I was quickly dismissed as a stupid child. 'Don't listen to her. She's cursed anyway. She's destined to be mad.' They said. But I knew better.

She stopped abruptly, it was so silent around the fire she almost forgot where she was. She looked at Ziago and scoffed at herself You must've thought me just as foolish and mad as they did for not running from you that day.

HP:31/31 | AC 13 | Int +2 | Warlock/4

Yes had a I been normal for my kind you and our brothers would of been dead. That is if I was drow. Ziago says. He looks deeply at her and then smiles. I also remeber when I took you from your castle, and you had that little tryst with the peasnt boy. Ziago sighs.
I warned you that would not end well for you but would not listen to me. Tell me about the time I took you on your first adventure? Ziago says.

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Nadia threw her head back and laughed. A hearty laugh. That poor boy! The look on his face! How was I to know my magic was as wild as it turned out to be? She squealed at the thought of the peasant boy. He's lucky to be alive! I thought for sure we'd be killed by morning.

She smiled an easy smile at her friend. They'd had some adventures these last years, many of them good. She remembered their first adventure like it was yesterday. . . Our first adventure!?! Oh that was so much fun! Suddenly she was quiet. I can't remember. Why can't I remember?

She knew Ziago would know something was wrong, because he knew her better than her own father did. Ziago, I can't remember. One minute it was there, now the memory is gone. Panic was starting to set in. This can't be happening. Not yet. Eyes wild, almost consumed with a fear that surpassed anything she'd ever felt, she looked to her mentor for answers; he'd always had answers before. Ziago, why can't I remember?!

Darafane wakes up and says Will you two keep it down. He sits up and looks around. Did we kill those bantits? What about the orgre?
What happend Naida

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Nadia fights for composure and looks at Darafane. Oh the usual. We faught, we almost died, your goddess saved our hides. We didn't know you were favored in such a way. Yes, they're all dead. How are you feeling? Do you think you can move?

HP 39/39 AC 16 Int + 2

Don't be silly girl my goddess would not spend time on the likes of me. Yes I can move thanks to Ziago here. He must of given me his last healing potion. So what where you babling about? Something about not remebering? Darafane says to Nadia.

[occ] This counts as a long rest [/ooc]
Ziago is fast asleep.

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

She smiles at his disbelief. She'd be skeptical as well had she not seen a unicorn coming forth from the statue. Nope. No healing potions. Your goddess favors you, though I'm sure we'll pay some kind of price for her assistance. She called herself "The Lady of the Light" said the road we were looking for heads north into the mountains. Why would I lie about that?

Naida lasts words hang in the air. Dara justs looks at Ziago sleeping and then says We need rest woman. Then procedes to go to sleep. Leaving Naida to her thoughts..
The next morning at first ligth the group assembles and starts to make their way north up the mountain. Several hours go by as no speaks. As the group moves down the path, a side path appears to the right. You can see that it leads to cave.
I think we should stop here. Ziago says.
Why? Dara asks the drow.
I have a strange feeling... Ziago says to the Green Knight. Dara without question says Ok Ziago if you have a "feeling" I trust it
What does Nadia Do?

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

After a restless night, Nadia has no desire to question Ziago. His gut's usually right and she needs to let someone else call the shots right now. Ok says Nadia we'll do things your way Ziago, we stop here.

The group moves up the path and nothing happens. As Ziago gets close to cave. He says to everyone Do you hear the music?
Dara tries to listen Perc check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Ziago looks the two and then says I wonder..Follow me weapons out and spells ready. He pulls is rapier out. He starts to walk in to the cave. As you enter the cave the first thing you notice is that feels old. You walk for what seem like forever. The tunnel is about 40 feet by 80 feet high. Like something big could move into here. After while you enter a huge chamber. It is large 300feet wide and 400 feet in height. There is a huge pile of gold and various items laying about.
A dragon's lair Ziago Darafane says in gasp.
Do you see a dragon here gnome! Ziago says with glee. He starts towards the pile of loot next to him.
A shiny lamp with a ruby calls to Nadia.
Ah my saviour is here A deep voice says to you and to you alone.

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Nadia looks around, shocked to hear the voice, Did you hear that? she whispers. She doesn't wait for a reaction and walks towards the lamp. She can almost hear Ziago telling her it's not going to end well, much like he did with the peasant boy. But she can't help herself and reaches out...

Ah yes Rings in your head. You grab the lamp with the big ruby. The lamp feels warm to your touch. Ziago looks over and say Only you would grab a lamp in a dragon's lair! Grab something else girl. There is enough gold and gems here to buy a kingdom. Maybe even bribe the giants! Ziago says with glee.
Dara walks around the pile and pulls out a girdle and a huge sword that transforms into a rapier all of sudden. By LurueHe says.
Look for a green cloak mistress a voice says
roll for percpetion you get advantage on this !

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Why? Why do you need a green cloak? Who are you? She thinks. She doesn't know how or why she's communicating in her head, but somehow it seems natural. Though what the voice wants or it's intent with this cloak isn't clear. Something greater than herself is pushing her to look for it. perc check 1d20 ⇒ 8 She tries to be methodical in her search, carefully studying the area close to where she found the lamp.

Nadia sees a green cloak lying next to several bottles. Each bottle has various liquids. A skill check with Arcane will tell what is in them DC is 15

Skill check 1d20 ⇒ 6

Nadia picks up the bottle and has no real clue what it is. It could be a potion of Lesser Healing, Barkskin, or Wild Magic. What does Nadia do with potion?

Female Aasamir Sorcerer / 4

Nadia has no clue what the potion does, but she's really more concerned with the cloak in the voice in her head. She shrugs and puts the bottles in her pack. They could be useful in some kind of way later on, or maybe she can ask Dara to figure out what they are.

Nadia holds up the cloak and then puts it on. Dara and Ziago start to call out for her. Nadia where are you? They almost yell in unison. Nadia lowers her hood and reappers.
Ah a cloak of invisibility Ziago says
About that time a terrible scream comes into the cave. The dragon has returned. Your only exit is blocked. A Young Black dragon comes into the cave.
Thieves you will die...No one steals from Black Fang! The young Dragon yells

Great... a black dragon, cause that's all we need. Any brilliant ideas genius? I bet not huh? All day talking to yourself and now? Not a thing. Wait... I heard Ziago say invisibility cloak. Maybe if I just... maybe I can get close enough, surprise him...

Nadia quickly pulls the cloak tighter around her body and quietly moves to find a better angle on the dragon, hoping it won't discover her before she can cast her spell. She finally reaches a safe enough distance and casts magic missile aiming every single one of those puppies at the dragon's chest. level 2 magic missile 4d4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 3) + 1 = 14
