"I'm going to sleep. Simply haven't had enough of a rest for how much I did today. If he has any wands, or alchemical stuff, bring it to my cart. If not, I'm off to bed. I'm getting a bit old."
The woman stands up, and begins to trawl back to her cart, climbing in and falling asleep in an instant, the Speckled Hurrum vanishing into light, and her crodlu lying down for it's own rest.
CL is now 6, and I now have a 3rd level spell, which I select Prayer.
My mystery spell is replaced by Dual Cursed Oracle for Bestow Curse, so that's there,
And my spirit spell is now available for 3rd level spells. Yay!
Also, my familiar can talk to me. As can my animal companion, thanks to the Totem guide archetype.

You found some alchemical reagents, like the gland from the forderan you fought earlier. A black necklace that feels magical (and the psychic detected it earlier.) Some food, and some water. Plus a bone knife and an obsidian knife he had on him. Seems like he was a sorcerer who defiled, instead of a wizard.

Josie awakens, eight hours later, her spells rejuvenated. She looks at the pile of alchemical materials lying on the ground in front of her.
"Oh heavens above, you'd think that girl would be more organized." the old woman said, muttering something about getting married or some other rubbish.
Either way, she checks her face with the Age Oil, which remains functional.
She then spends some time figuring out what she has gathered from the Defiler's corpse (How much it's worth).
Craft (Alchemy) checks: 1d20 + 13 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 13 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 36 (+4 from Aid Another, +2 from Alchemy Kit).

DAY THREE.
The sunrise was one that could get the caravan moving. Just a short time for breakfast, and soon the caravan was on its way. Leaving behind the defiler's body, of course.
It was up to the elves to bury it. So, in short order, the magical tree of life was left behind. And the group continued it's way.

Josie continues to think about what to make with all the Alchemical regents she had looted from the Defiler's corpse.
In the meantime, she spent most of her morning preparing a decent meal out of the stores of food she bought.

Veleron will decline the use of the necklace.
Veleron continues on with the caravan, concerns about the defiler furrowing his brow for a while. Though as the distance grows from the Elven Village, his mood lightens.
"Ahh, wonderful nothingness, much better."
While traveling he will focus on surveying the land, in an attempt to better understand the route, occasionally gathering small plants, rock, and dirt for study as they move.

Yes they can. How much they are worth altogether? 2,500 cp.

"I have some items I'd like to make," Josie replied, "But I still have to figure out what I need. If you need any alchemical remadies, I'm more than willing to help."
I'd like to make some Fire Ward Gel and some Hound's Blood, so I keep about 65 gp worth of regents to craft with. If any of you guys want any alchemical items, tell me.

Ambush! Zera yells, and rides up to the front to make sure the caravan gets stopped before they ride into the middle of it. She sends Zeek up to scout out positions, and prepares for battle.

"Well damn me." the old woman said, pulling out her Launching Crossbow, "We ought to have some time, best get things ready."
Josie prepares her spirit, choosing the Ancestor Spirit, using it to add spells to her spells known, and choosing the Intercessor hex.
She then withdraws a vial of Perfect Ice, casting Full Pouch while doing so, and loads it into her Launching Crossbow.
The lady also withdraws some Wrym Breath Bitter, casting full pouch again, increasing the DC against it's effect to DC 17, and against the sicken for downing it to DC 17. She then feeds it to her Hurrum, who downs it heartily. It then climbs on her Animal Companion's back.
Finally casts Unseen Servant, and has it hold a bag of Stagnant Fog, again cast with Full Pouch, to ride on the back of the Crodlu, and move ahead at the start of combat.
The Crodlu carries the Hurrum and the Unseen Servent, annoyed but accepting, and walks point.
She then continues to prepare- She casts Heroism on Azhul and any one other person who's going to be on the front line, which lasts an hour.
She then readies an action to cast Prayer upon the beginning of the combat.
hurrum save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Paranoid? Maybe. But I just had a character die in another game for not being paranoid enough, so I'm just being proactive.

As the others begin to act, he begins to growl, which grows deeper and more guttural as he Wildshapes into a Dire Tiger Or the closest setting appropriate large cat.
Veleron will then cast ironskin if there's a chance before combat ensues.

The ambush reveals itself to be a tribe of elves. All hungry for the items that the caravan is carrying on it's Melkillots. The tribe is suprised, though, that it's ambush has been sensed. This gives you the surprise round.

Josie's Readied Prayer takes effect, every ally gains a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves, and skill checks. Enemies within 60 feet take a -1 penalty on the same rolls.
I'm making some presumptions, but I presume that's okay.
As a standard action, she tries to decide whether firing a vial of perfect ice into the middle of the desert will deal any damage to the plants, and when realizing that it wouldn't, firing it at their ranged formation that is, preferably, at least 70 feet away, aiming for their centermost tile, as it coats the area surrounding them with a dangerous blue, as alien ice coats the land.
Her Familiar makes an attempt to Intimidate a the closest enemy, and the Crodlu moves into the combat area.

I'm pretty sure that Tarkahas' post was at the back of the caravan.
Tarkahas continues to concentrate until a Bull-like creature bursts from the ground 40' ahead of him.
Summoning an Aurochs (or whatever Dark Sun equivalent there is).Using my phrenic pool to give it conjured armor.
Once the creature is in place, Tarkahas pulls out his spear as he runs forward.
Double move. GM: how close am I to the elves?
