Ellipsis, I feel for your rolls.

Yeah, this is getting painful. Hopefully my rolling won't get us all killed.

On a different note, I will be out of town this weekend, so feel free to play my characters as normal.

Great comment, Bal. What? You don't think Wardja can guess that Sav uses a deck to commune with dead relatives, Chaos demons, and Eldar farseers? lol!

No worries, Ellipsis, and don't worry, as Lorm knows, the rolls eventually even out.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Actually Eradico none of the above lol. Look up the Heretics Wake Deck in the Inquisitors Handbook for a good laugh.

Hey Rook, how's the snow? If it takes a few days for you to answer I'll know why with all the blackouts.

Wasn't it just yesterday you said you were looking forward to summer and normal weather?

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Heh, yep. We were pretty fortunate, still have power even after what is clearly the 'trick' portion of this Halloween storm. I spent a lot of the day outside shoveling some of the wettest, heaviest snow I have ever had the misfortune of slinging. Not to mention half the branches in the big dead oak in the back yard decided to come down. My brother-in-law's handy chainsword took care of that, though.

Still, this was like a sucker punch this early in the season. I was going to post both campaigns tonight, but am running out of gas after all the heavy lifting today. I did manage to drop a few posts in Sons of Jericho, though. I should have some time to do Oremor Affliction on the usual off-day tomorrow though, I just want to make certain I am fully awake before posting the details of the next scenes.

Summer seems very far away now, but we're hardbitten New Englanders, so whatever doesn't kills us makes us more bitter and cranky, lol.

Trick or treating with the kids on Nov. 3rd seemed pretty weird, but such is the delay after a Halloween snowstorm.

I updated Sons of Jericho some this afternoon, will be catching up on The Oremor Affliction tonight.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Well hope the kids had a good time. While the weather was great here for Halloween. Sadly there was a light turn out for tricker or treaters.

On a side note. Picked up The Book of Judgement today. Its much more of an Arbites book, but at least it has something for those less legally inclined.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Cool, my copy just shipped from Paizo.

Yeah, it was actually unseasonably warm here for a welcome change, so we had a better turnout than expected. The kids had a blast.

Hoping to check the game this weekend but I may be out until Sunday night. NPC me as you see fit, Rook.

No prob, Eradico, will do.

My apologies for the spotty posting this last week, guys, a hectic work schedule slowed me down. Hoping to catch up some today and tomorrow!

Hey Rook, absolutely no prob!

Patience is a virtue. ;-)

Well...finally finished reading all 7-8000 posts of this pbp, and I must say; good job everyone.

Not only did you entertain me & keep me hooked, you made the overnight shift at work go by all the quicker.

Not to mention, I have a MUCH better grasp of how to actually.run these tricksy ffg systems.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Thanks Psionichamster, its been a long strange trip for us all, so I hope it has been worth it for you.

I know all too well what lengths one will go to in order to stay entertained on an overnight shift, so I'm with you there!

Hang around, it may sometimes move at the pace of a one-legged glacier, but things are starting to come together for the endgame.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Glad you have enjoyed the campaign so far Psionichamster. Hope you continue to follow the group with its adventures.

Rook:
I've been busy the past couple of days, but I should have a chance to send you an email over the holiday.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Ellipsis:
Me too, Ellipsis. No worries, no rush.

Sorry about the lull there, guys, I've been busy this last week with a number of things outside of my immediate control, chief among them work. I'll be posting to both games tonight to get things moving again.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

No worries Rook.

Hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving!

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

OK, more of a turkey hangover than I first thought. Managed to get a good update in for Sons of Jericho tonight, Oremor Affliction will follow tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a happy holiday!

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Uriah having empathy, Eradico. Now that is funny. You've read how cold-blooded he can be when necessary. He is pratical in a sociopathic way. He was ready to kill Ishmael for endangering the group and disobeying orders. He did kill that indigent in cold blood.

haha... Hey, just trying to take what I can!

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

OK, guys feel free to take whatever time is necessary with Dunkan, no need to rush. I know I hinted that the tournament is fast approaching, but there is still ample time to engage in dialogue. You will want to me make certain everyone is on the same page for the operation.

Thanks for the above comment, Rook. It's been a busy week for me. I will try to have Wardja's suggestions/plans for the tourney posted by Friday night.

Rook:
Hey Rook, let me know if I forgot any relevant information that relates to the card tourney. I think I was able to cull what we need to know from our email traffic. Also, the device I gave to Dunkan was the vox-bug. Figured the Heretek would really like to see that. :)

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Eradico:
Nope, I think you touched upon just about everything we mentioned in the email exchange, Eradico. your recollection of the Pinnacle of Pearl and the layout is spot on.

Dark Archive

For those still up for another PBP

Spoiler:
I will be running a reboot of the old Dragon Crag game (Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd edition). Please let me know if you are interested.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Consider me interested, Rad, just let me know!

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Should be able to get some updates across both games today, guys.

Sorry about the infrequent posting of late, but extra hours at work and the usual craziness around the holiday schedule has been making it tough to get some free time.

Dark Archive

Take care Rook.

For Rook

Spoiler:
I am thinking of increasing the starting XP to 1000 to represent the extra toughness and skill the PCs gained travelling to Dragon Crag and staying there prior to the adventure's start. Any thoughts on the matter?

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Rad:
Works for me Rad, I have to dig up the 'ol Warhammer FRP 2nd edition rulebook from the tome closet.

Rad, I'd love to join!

Rook--No problem. This time of year is crazy, especially w/kids!

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Just give us a heads up when you are thinking about starting the game up again Rad. Then I will update Kol. Until them I will play Skyrim for inspiration.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Sounds interesting, Rad.

@Balfic-graa

Spoiler:
You used the Norse Bondsman career from Tome of Corruption for Kol, correct?

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Wow.

This scene marks the beginning of the end, more or less. We're now entering the last act of the scenario as I imagined it, nearing the end of the first act of the campaign, as well.

I hope everyone is still enjoying themselves, I figure now is as good a time as any to answer some questions in OOC about the campaign, the characters, and things that have transpired thus far. Feel free to ask anything, be it clarification, or elaboration on something that has occurred so far, I really do enjoy hearing your feedback and incorporating your ideas and interests into the narrative of things.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Yeah Rad, I used the Bondsmen with Kol.

Happy Holidays guys! I've been busy with Christmas prep the last few days, but will be coming back with some heavy posting on the 26th to catch up a bit, see you then.

Dark Archive

Merry Christmas everyone :-)

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful time.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Happy Holidays, everyone.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks, guys! I've had a great holiday break. Been playing a ton of board games with the family: Dominion, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, LoTR Risk. Even broke out Space Hulk with my oldest son for a couple of games. And since I had some time I finally figured out how to play Space Hulk: Death Angel card game. It's pretty fun as a solo game.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Cool Eradico, played some Death Angel with my cousin, just returned from Ohio as well. We managed to lose half our team by rolling '0' when using the teleportarium in a game that was otherwise going pretty well. We got to the last location but were neck deep in genestealers and just missed a win. Tough game, but lots of fun!

We're back in business game-wise, too. The holiday break was fun for me and much needed, work has been a drain lately and relaxing with family after the stresses of Christmas prep was just the ticket. I'm ready to get back into the games, so bear with me while I re-acclimate myself to posting. First up tonight is a post for the Pinnacle of Pearl scene. I'll be catching up both Oremor Affliction some more and Sons of Jericho tomorrow.

@Rad, should also have Vulpert's advances for WFRP for you tomorrow, too.

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Found this on the FFG Site http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite.asp?eidm=50 Definately looking forward to seeing how that story plays out.

Been checking for the last few days and Invisible Castle is still down. No idea if its a server overhaul or if they are dead in the water.

Anyway I wanted to wish everyone an Early and Happy New Year. Stay Safe and hope to see everyone in game soon.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Have a Happy New Year everyone!

Sav, no worries, just let me know when you want me to make rolls for you. The Paizo dice-roller is perfectly acceptable as well.

Sorry about the delay in posting this week, have been busy at work trying to scale things down from a five to a four man operation.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Happy New Year, everyone.

You too, Lorm, Happy New Year!

Hey everyone, had a great time gaming in 2011 with the Sons of Jericho and Oremor campaigns... looking forward to continued PbP adventures in 2012!
