Auraxis shakes his head, "The man's skull was crushed by foul sorcery, how could he possibly be alive?"

"I have seen men continue to survive through worse circumstances and if there was a beat, a pulse I could use that same warp energy that destroyed him to repair the damage... or at lease hold him together until further medicae can reconstruct him"

illidan hauls himself up on his feet wiping his hands clean since there is no more he can do for the poor guy.

"well he is no longer breathing, I guess we should be able to bypass that widows field but I still want to see whats on the other side of this blasted door"

illidan walks to the tomb door flipping through his backpack finding the lascutter. Punching in a string of commands into the device (laser strength, density) illidan stands infront of the tomb and blast a beam of intense laser at the door

Refusing to give up hope quite so easily, Mindblade kneels at Rubio's side and opens himself to the warp, allowing it's healing power to flow through him.

Power roll1d10 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 vs 7
Heals 1d5 ⇒ 4 if successful

Medicae Test on Rubio 1d100 ⇒ 60 vs 80 (or is it 90, I can't remember)

Nihil rubio is still breathing.

Mindblade places his hands on Rubio and he stirs a bit but is still critically wounded but the blood loss has stopped at least.

glances over his shoulder at the action taking place behind him... but continues to try to cut into the tomb...

.oO (Well I'll be, he made it. Tough guy he is.)

illidan focuses his attention back to this door

(Can I use my precision telekinesis to remove his helmet without hurting him further?)

"Never doubt the Emperor's protection, brothers. He is the source of our strength."

Nihil sighed quietly, attempting to wipe the blood from his jacket.

"Well then... What now? Any option I can think of has been exhausted, and I refuse to hand Rubio over for the bloodthirst of such warp spawn filth..."

"On that we can agree. I'm highly tempted to destroy the widow and face the daemon within. My patience is wearing thin."

The scratching gets louder on one of the crypt doors as you linger about and you can hear the sounds of gears turning.

What do you do?

Mindblade prepares for yet another assault, and waits.

(Should I just assume the lascutter isnt working?)

Correct doesn't seem to have any affect on the door

Illidan shouts out a choice words as he sees his attempts of cutting through this door with the lascutter isnt working either

"AARGH! YOU SON OF AN ORK " kicking the nearest tomb "why wont you open?!!

hearing the sounds of gears turning illidan drops back grabbing his bold pistol from the holster on his side. if I will put the lascutter away.

Auraxis places his bolt pistol in its holster and reloads the Bolter awaiting that conclusion of the gear mechanism hopefully opening the interior doors.

Nihil says nothing, simply drawing his bolt pistol once more.

As the gears grind the scratching sound on the door stops and then you hear a loud groaning sound as one of the crypt door slowly begins to open. This is not the main one with the special key lock that you have identified already.

As the door slowly slides open an eerie smoke flows into the room and you can hear some strange skittering sound on the other side. Once it opens all the way you see something horrific.

These things begin to make their way out from the crypt toward your group. There are to many to count

Please make Fear checks (-10 WP checks)

Mindblade Insanity: 1d5 ⇒ 4

The Guard feints for 1d5 ⇒ 2 rounds.

Rubio is still out of it so no check required.

The creatures make their way out with no visible eyes and begin to sniff the air, one seems to catch the scent of your group.

What do you guys want to do? Run or stand and fight a large group of these creatures? Mindblade is already jetting!

Illidan is going to make a slow withdrawl but I am going to shoot at these creatures giving everyone time to leave... turning to the group

"Make a run for it I will slow these foul beast do....
stopping in his sentence, seeing mindblade was already ahead of him

thoughts:

.oO(man he is fast!!!)

turning his attention to the immediate threat illidan grabs his second pistol and utters a swift prayer to himself

"G. Emp, may your @$$ sit on the throne of Tera forever, guide my bullets into the heart of our foes and obliterate once and for all"
Illidan never made it to chaplain in his regime

Illidan takes aim.

(Is there a wall I can climb, and do these creatures look like they can climb like spiders or are they grounded like dogs)

"Nihil grab Rubio, I think it is time for a strategic withdrawal".

I will back away and once again use my holy light to sear corrupted creatures whose presence offends the God Emperor!

Holy Light Damage 1d10 ⇒ 8

"By the Throne, can this day get any worse?!"

Nihil snarls as he throws a string of Malfian curses under his breath as he snatches Rubio and tries to drag him off, feeling guilty that they would leave the guard, but they had no choice...

(Grr. Let me know when I can make the willpower roll.)

Your group makes a forced retreat. The creatures still seem a bit disoriented just being freed from their prison for who knows how long they have been there and are able to get away without any additional harm.

You do hear their howls and crunching of bones as you get a good distance away which could only be the demise of the guard.

Mindblade you eventually snap out of it (no need to roll).

Rubio stirs a bit as you guys eventually come to a slow down and peel the helmet off his head. His face is severely disfigured now and could barely tell who he is.

"What happened...." he moans.

"We were forced to flee. We are running out of bullets and out of blood but we still live".

Auraxis turns to Nihil, "Do we attempt to go back to the crypt and penetrate its inner workings after those creatures have dispersed throughout the complex? We really are running out of other viable options".

"Do we have any other option?..."

The nobleman muttered through stunted gasps for breath, easing his back against the wall as he tried to recompose himself from exhaustion.

illidan goes and survey the area they are hold up at making sure none of those sightless bastards are following us via scent, or any straggler/hooded goons about.

"We need to find the key to the other tomb I may be able to locate it. If we can find it we can make our way back picking them THINGS off one by one."

Dowsing
3d10 + 5 ⇒ (1, 1, 10) + 5 = 17 vs 11

Psyscience test
1d100 ⇒ 88

illidan's eyes fade to the color of translucent , trying to get a read on where this key could possibly be

"argh! This blasted thing can be anywhere cant get a direct read. Fresh out of options here"

illidan goes and checks his map to figure out where they are in the house

After examining the dataslate to see where your at your guess is your on the eastern side of the complex in the maze of hallways. It is quiet here.

" if my calculation is correct we are on the eastern side of the complex. In a series of hallways that are in a maze like format."

Nihil will look over Illidan's shoulder to check out the dataslate

Where have we not gone?

The whole complex is huge so there area lot of places you haven't been but most of it is just hallways and sleeping quarters or offices.

About 6 hours total have now passed since the Widow made her proclamation. 7 hours until the end of everyone if her sacrifice is not made.

"So far the crypt that open with the beast is the only option I can think of we have not tried. That doesn't require us to succumb to heresy" Illidan checks his ammon in his auto gun "besides I have been forced out of there twice... there wont be a third....

illidan begins to slowly back track his steps

G emp:

I believe I had taken sense presense but need an updated character sheet

"I agree, let us make our way back there and into the bowels of this death trap".

Mndblade whispers a soft prayer to the Emperor for courage and guidance before following along.

"Lead the way, brave Illidan."

Mindblade winced beneath his helm, assuming the bravery comment was directed at him. He tightened the grip on his swords, determined to redeem himself if it was the last thing he ever did.

As your group slowly makes it's way back to the crypts you hear a familiar voice over the buildings vox speakers.

"Tick Tock Tick Tock time is running out." it's Greel.

"It's been all fun and games until now that the children have been released. Soon you will all die and the Travelers wish will be done!" you hear a maniacal laughter and then a bit of silence.

"7 Hours left ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the time you have to live."

On that note there is silence over the vox channels. You can hear howls throughout the compound which could only be the beasts you saw earlier.

illidan snarls at the vox message
" that damn Greel and the widow make a great couple. "

pushing forward back to the crypts

Sorry for delay pc back in business
Your group continues to make it's way back toward the crypts when you hear someone walking your way from one of the many passageways. There is really no good place for cover where your at and the hallways are kind of narrow.

You hear the familiar voice of Greel speaking to someone as they grow closer.

"Your lack of discipline is disapointing!" and you hear a slapping sound.

"You have 1 hour to find the blood or else your blood will flow."

There is silence for a moment and then you see 5 Mourners turn the corner and spot you! You do not see Greel with the 5 but you know he is close!
