Khadijah shrugs, "I would certainly be grateful if you could convince your patron to raise the issue with the full council once it is selected.
That was Kratos, a member of my Clan, Lasombra. I thought you knew him, why else would he hand you that satchel?"
Vitaliano da Riva |
Venice by Night – Tuesday March 25, 1309
Narses Court - Ventrue Alcove First Floor - Vitaliano
Vitaliano shook his head a bit and then stared as a strand of hair fell between his eyes. His eye twitched as he hurriedly put it back into place before looking back at the former prince. "We appreciate the support, I'll let my Sire know he has your support as well. And...if I happen across a certain name from a strange voice then I will see to it that the voice's message comes back to you." he said, the latter part quietly.
At this point, he began his quest for Raphael, not wanting to let that lose end not be put in it's place.

You head downstairs to seek out Petrankov and you instead find his Childe Cantor. The one you had friction with when you first met him he sits alone at the Gangrel table. Observing what is taking place around him.
He nods to you, "Sir Dunstan, how does this evening find..."
Before he can finish his sentence a Canite approaches the table, one you have never seen before, "Where is your Sire Childe?" The Cainite asks Cator.
Cantor shakes his head, "I do not know Erik, shall I summon the Seneschal so you can announce yourself?"
The Cainite frowns, "No, I shall find him myself..." As he walks away you are not sure if he means to find Brexiano or Petrankov!

Narses Court - A Crowded Meeting Room on the Second Floor - Alessandro
Hmm... That is a painting, Polygnotus a painter. He would not correct her in public, or was this a test of some sort.
Alessandro tries to read Victor's face, if her childe reacted to the statement.
Yes, of course Lady Helene. But, I have been interrupted what must have been a pleasant conversation between yourself and Lady Jadviga. Forgive me.
With these proceeding favorably over, there will time enough for pleasantries and the appreciation of the arts. You must come to the house and be our guest.
Naturally, he reaches for her hand politely as affirmation to the invitation... chivalry is an art, as well.
Odysseus' descent to Hades, secreted from Delphi to Venice in an act of preservation. I wonder if the Oracle saw that coming?
He gently laughs at his own joke.
Ladies, Victor... we will be in touch. The Lady Alyssa and I will be around a bit longer, should you have interests, delights and passions that require attention.
I do so look forward to working with you, Victor. I have not been to France in a while... by mortal standards.
Hands together and bowing, he politely extracts himself, spots Alyssa and returns to her side.
Does this require another roll? Maybe for Victor? I don't want to push it... if it does, use the following role. If not, ignore it.
Charisma + Expression + Politics, urbane: 4d10 + 2d10 + 2d10 ⇒ (4, 3, 7, 4) + (10, 4) + (6, 4) = 42

Lutz pauses, "So who is your Sire again?"
"Francois Villon of Paris, who, even where he not my sire, I would think the best choice for the position. I shall let him know of your kind trade and allow you both more time to consider it."
"And why exactly are we bothering to listen to this madman?" Lorenzo asks, genuinely curious as to the answer.
Lutz grins at you Lorenzo, "Cause I get a vote!"
Ranerius chuckles at Lutz' comment, "Well, there is that." He turns to Lorenzo, "But, in addition... as I mentioned to Lord Benne, I am a great believer in cooperation between various clans and kindred alike. I don't claim to fully understand the elder here, but just because I fail to see it doesn't mean there isn't wisdom of worth in his words. Perhaps its because I'm an Innkeeper, but I like to think every person has a story, or at least a part of a story, and it costs me little to hear it, and every once in awhile, much can be gained from a moment of a bent ear," A pause, "And there is again the fact I hope to help our kind, young and old, find some measure of joined strength and peace. It's been a theme for both my sire and I, and I worry I'd seem a hypocrite if I shut anyone out. Perhaps I am a 'soft touch' but it is part of who I am." He admits.

"Since I do not see or recognize Petrakov, I hope my company is not unwelcome and we can cultivate some friendship" a smile on cue as practiced when being polite and treating the man like he was more than his station deemed, even if at this point Dunstan could not know it, but threading with care and respect is a fine weapon and remember to smile. All to good words his mentor once gave him.
"I was hoping that we could be in better terms as well as Petrakov and lady Meridie for this up coming election, that is if your Clan is staying which I believe it would be invaluable as every Clan has something to offer for what I have come to notice"

Onfroi |
Narses Court
Onfroi nods and takes a seat and says I was born in Burgandy over two centuries ago and came of age at the time of the first crusade and managed to return alive after joining the Knights Hospitalers there of whom I am still fond of but who left their combat mission behind shortly after the crusade to become who they are to this day. Close to death I found myself turned into a ghoul until recently when I was offered after so long a place at the table. After so many years I learned much of mortality and how fleeting it is and how I must move from time to time to avoid suspicion but how much my true home meant and how much the hospitality within was appreciated. So while I am well taught and respectful I see some traditions greater then others. You? Onfroi stops keeping the story as short as he could but being honest. What purpose to not be, but with not including every detail as what purpose in that either. I love this unlife Sir, I would not trade this moment for any. I am glad what I have been gifted and would be glad to speak for my sire regardless Onfroi finishes.
