Alexander cackles at your comment, "No my friend, she is merely a vessel from which I gain sustenance and one from which you may as well gain sustenance. She will be staked and left in the sun should I be forced to leave the city should I lose this Council seat.
My tastes as I said are rarified", he grins wickedly.
He adds as an afterthought, "Indeed the mixing of blood can have great effect on mortals. The weaknesses of the blood over time manifest in ghouls".

As Lady Jadviga and Brian continue forward at a normal pace Andrew is falling a bit behind his cane in one hand, the lady's arm in the other.
"I fear Patrizia you are attributin to me tha power o tha Lord. It was tha Lord whose light banished tha darkness, tha prince may be selected by tha Lord as an instrument o eventual good, it is not mine place tah judge...I am but a servant o God...as I was in my mortal life, not but scant months agone."
Andrew is uncertain as to the term great warrior, he knows that many Canaanites mock the condition of his leg
"Perhaps great Salubri warriors exist, Brian has promised at tha appointed hour tah introduce me to one."

Vitaliano da Riva – the entrance of the Winnowing Inn
Vitaliano listened and found perhaps a new purpose for a Childe in this world. He made note that there was at least some use for the dregs of the world that were too weak willed for their own good.
He smiled and lifted the woman's hand to his lips and offered it a kiss before he turned her wrist over and pierced the flesh for the first time for a meal. He drank slowly so that he could be ready if the beast reared it's head. He only drank enough to sate the pangs of hunger and to be polite.
I think two blood points is plenty? I mean more then the terms of being polite to your host bu not enough to be greedy...more to show that he does not find the Prince's preferences wrong.

Ranerius Bernerius - La Serenata Notturna
You and Francois step into the chill night heading for a local Gondola operator who will bring you to the isle which contains the Elysium of the Prince.
Francois seems deep in thought as you make progress towards the Prince's Court. As you close on the entrance a man and a woman flag the driver down, "Come hither, you've room for two more".
The driver begins to turn the boat towards the womans' voice as Francois is about to berate the driver, or worse, he recognizes the identity of the two standing on the dock. They were at the Conclave the night before.
The boat comes to a halt and the two figures step on. Francois nods to them curtly, "Selina, Criatas a fine evening is it not?"
"Quite", replies Criatas curtly.
Selina smiles wickedly as if she knew the presence of these two Cainites together would be... uncomfortable. "Perhaps we should take a few turns around the city before heading to the Conclave after all the stars are out", she states.
Francois turns to her, "I think it would be best if..."
"Turn around and bring us by the sights", she orders the driver, that same steel in her voice. The driver complies.
Criatas frowns at her.

He does his best to pull away from the draw of the power in her blood. It is indeed a very different flavor then what he had been drinking. Perhaps it wouldn't be terrible to be more selective in ones drinking.
He pulled out a small handkerchief and wiped his mouth clean politely and cleaned the lady's wrist. "I must admit that the taste is quite exquisite. Though, I would hate to see the poor dear staked. If you like I could take care of her in your absence. You never know how useful it can be to have a pawn hidden away after all." he said smiling.

Gold and our dark powers will keep the Innkeepers quiet.
Stilt the true reason is because each Clan has its own acquired taste. The Ventrue are the most selective of all but breeding is important for one is more fully satisfied when he can sate himself upon the familiar. Much like a mortal feels at home with a meal cooked by his mother's hand.
Here we have my people smuggled from the East, in your own Tavern there are people's from Greece, Switzerland, and the Germanic north to sate the appetites of the Elders who vie for power.

Ranerius Bernerius - A Gondola
Criatas catches your whisper and uses it to change the subject, "Have you some comment to make regarding Lady Meridie's Childe Fledgling?"
The tone in his voice is so cold and neutral you are not sure whether he is angry or curious. It is hard to read the dead to be sure their faces lack the inflection of a human face for their muscles are dead save for when they fail to exercise them, their eyes devoid of emotion, in deed the inflections in their voice betray no hint of how they feel, especially one as ancient as this one.
