Okay, everything including backstory is done. I even put some goals in there.
A note on my goals. Prasutagus' long term goal is to bring the Iceni back into prominence. I know that this will be a very long term item, but its something I can make dozens of short and medium term goals for to have some thing to keep moving forward for.
I also am going to stick with the Nemesis feat. Having an NPC that is mechanically required by my build trying to tear down everything I create will make it much more interesting.

Here is my Nemesis idea.
After the raid on the monastery and waiting on Kara, Arn agreed more and more with Tobias. They should have killed Kara. Magan, and Prasutagus' support of him, were slowing them down, getting themselves killed.
The largest disagreement was when Arn attacked them with Tobias.
Axe swinging, shield catching blows, Prasutagus yelled at Arn, "Why now?! Why side with Tobias? He never looks out for anyone but himself!".
"They would still be alive if we hadn't waited so long!" Arn's grief apparent in his voice.
In the end, Prasutagus planted his axe in Arn's torso, splitting ribs and opening his gut. Arn fell backwards and hit the ground hard, not moving.
Looking around, only himseld, Magan, Kara, and Tobias still lived. Tears in his eyes, Prasutagus moved forward to close Arn's and say a prayer over his dead body. A good friend lost.

Speaking other languages within your language group isn't a simple matter anyway. You can get by, but it's like getting by in french or spanish when you speak italian. It will sometimes require actual linguistics checks.
This makes gaining languages for linguistics skill points easy - you gain one language. If it is a language from a new language group, then yes, you gain familiarity with that language group. However, depending on the situation in game it may actually be more desirable to master a second language in your existing language group.

Most of you are probably familiar with these rules:
An adventurer's primary source of income is treasure, and his primary purchases are tools and items he needs to continue adventuring—spell components, weapons, magic items, potions, and the like. Yet what about things like food? Rent? Taxes? Bribes? Idle purchases?
You can certainly handle these minor expenditures in detail during play, but tracking every time a PC pays for a room, buys water, or pays a gate tax can swiftly become obnoxious and tiresome. If you're not really into tracking these minor costs of living, you can choose to simply ignore these small payments. A more realistic and easier-to-use method is to have PCs pay a recurring cost of living tax. At the start of every game month, a PC must pay an amount of gold equal to the lifestyle bracket he wishes to live in—if he can't afford his desired bracket, he drops down to the first one he can afford.
Destitute (0 gp/month): The PC is homeless and lives in the wilderness or on the streets. A destitute character must track every purchase, and may need to resort to Survival checks or theft to feed himself.
Poor (3 gp/month): The PC lives in common rooms of taverns, with his parents, or in some other communal situation—this is the lifestyle of most untrained laborers and commoners. He need not track purchases of meals or taxes that cost 1 sp or less.
Average (10 gp/month): The PC lives in his own apartment, small house, or similar location—this is the lifestyle of most trained or skilled experts or warriors. He can secure any nonmagical item worth 1 gp or less from his home in 1d10 minutes, and need not track purchases of common meals or taxes that cost 1 gp or less.
Wealthy (100 gp/month): The PC has a sizable home or a nice suite of rooms in a fine inn. He can secure any nonmagical item worth 5 gp or less from his belongings in his home in 1d10 minutes, and need only track purchases of meals or taxes in excess of 10 gp.
Extravagant (1,000 gp/month): The PC lives in a mansion, castle, or other extravagant home—he might even own the building in question. This is the lifestyle of most aristocrats. He can secure any nonmagical item worth 25 gp or less from his belongings in his home in 1d10 minutes. He need only track purchases of meals or taxes in excess of 100 gp.
We'll be using them, but until anybody marks off gold for the next month I'll track small expenditures like stabling and drinks.

The language setup makes sense. I didn't know exactly how proficient in a language in the same language group we would be. This shall be fun.
As for the cost of living, I'll be in the destitute bracket until I can make some cash.

@All Can everyone please emulate the format that Prasutagus has used for the quick reference stats? It's clearest.
@Prasutagus About your skills, you have four per level currently. I assumed this was 2 warpriest + 1 human + 1 favoured class. However, I now also see that you have 9 VP, which suggests that your favoured class bonus went into VP. Which should it be?
Prasutagus Iceni |
It is both. I get an extra one from the Nemesis story feat. Link
Benefit: Having a nemesis drives you to excel in training. For each new level you gain in a favored class, including the level you gained when you chose this feat, you can choose two benefits instead of one. One of these benefits must be either a bonus hit point or a bonus skill point, even if other options are available.

I am recruiting for an Ironfang Invasion game if anyone is interested.

Wow, you have a lot of interest on that game already. Work starts again for me on Monday and I'm taking on a lot of additional responsibility this year, so I'm going to see how that goes with playing one game at first. If I'm finding it easy I might drop you a character submission by the 10th though :)

Going to drop this here as its too long for FB messenger.
I plan on getting a lance once I get some money, may even get craft(weapons) to make them myself. I want to make sure we are on the same page as far as lance damage goes.
Option 1 - Lance damage as I run it. You get 1.5 str to damage due to the lance description saying 'you can wield a lance with one hand', which means its a 2 handed weapon in 1 hand, not a 1 handed weapon. You also get power attack as per a 2 handed weapon per this FAQ.
So that means damage looks like:
Lance - +3 (1d8+4/x3)
Lance w/ Charge - +5(2d8+8/x3)
Lance w/ Power Attack - +2(1d8+4+3/x3)
Lance w/ Charge and Power Attack - +4 (2d8+8+6/x3)
Lance w/ Spirited Charge, PA, Charging - +4 (3d8+12+9/x3) (I don't have spirited charge, but if I did this is what it would look like)
Option 2 - Lance is treated as a 1 handed weapon with the exception of power attack. So we get:
Lance - +3 (1d8+3/x3)
Lance w/ Charge - +5(2d8+6/x3)
Lance w/ Power Attack - +2(1d8+3+3/x3)
Lance w/ Charge and Power Attack - +4 (2d8+6+6/x3)
Lance w/ Spirited Charge, PA, Charging - +4 (3d8+9+9/x3) (I don't have spirited charge, but if I did this is what it would look like)
Just want to know what version you use so that I will be prepared for how to do the math.

I will take 1 arrow to save me updating my ammunition sheet.
I'm also considering a buckler for when I'm using my bow...
Anything nobody wants we can bundle up to sell in the next town
Magan Aetheling |
Also handaxe and buckler for the girl. Her training begins shortly...
I'm assuming a medium handaxe will function as a battleaxe for a small person? And Buckler as light shield?
