Zal looks to the harpy then the others We would need a place with little in the way of exits. He has proven adept at disappearing and we need a space where we can be sure he does not have the means to move past us.

You open the door to be met with a roiling mist..visibility beyond 5 feet is impossible.

Úlf blinks confusedly at the fog that rolls out of the open doorway; clearly he had been expecting just about anything besides this. He looks forward to Zaladrel, seeking some direction about what to do with this new impediment.

Úlf grunts aloud as the wave of dark energy washes over him, gritting his teeth against the pain. Still, though, trying to discern the source of the noise in the fog might be their best chance yet of getting a position on their enemy. He tries hard to recall the direction the sound came from.

Yeah, I am waiting to see the results of Zal' perception roll.


Zal can hear something moving in the room however..the Obscuring Mist prevents him from seeing more than 5 feet ahead of him.

Whatever it is is moving to his right.

Zal will do his best to pivot in the direction of the sound and move forward hoping to hit something with an errant slash (or something that just shows up in his face within a normal move...)

No Ulf cannot see more than 5 feet into the room...he did not move in and is still at the door.

Úlf grits his teeth and marches into the room, his axe held tight in his hand. He moves as close to the center of the area as he can, then plants his feet, readying an action in case their foe shows himself at a range Úlf could strike at.

Scurrying up behind the big warrior, Runa and Tofa enter the fog, crossbow ready.


By staying right behind Ulf Runa can keep him in view.Lissa does the same in regard to Runa.

Omara slips off to one side and vanishes soundlessly into the Mists meanwhile you can all hear the rustle of robes.. which seem to be moving around in front off you.

Zal tries to zero in on the sound as best he can and moves in the direction of the sound, swinging out if he sees something.

Gonna go ahead and post my action.

On Úlf's action, he will try to press the attack, stepping up next to Zaladrel using the best estimate of his position that he can manage in the mist. Once there, he does a quick check with Zal to see where their enemy is, swinging for the same place Zaladrel was swinging for.

Damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Ulf swings at the vague shape in the mists and is rewarded by a croak of pain.

Following the sounds of battle Asha moves quietly through the shadowy halls of the ancient castle, blade in one hand and starknife in the other. Emerging around a corner she sees the door open and the mist spilling out.

"What in Desna's name..." she whispers, then hears the sound of a weapon crunching and a cry of pain, and grimly advances.

Still unable to see their foe, and not wishing to fire blindly into the mist, Runa stays close to Ulf.
