Completely off-topic: I've started recruiting for a Kingmaker PbP if any of you guys are interested; this will not affect my posting for this game! Just thought I'd throw that out there! :)
hmm... i have a group of friends that have been putting together characters for a Kingmaker game. We were going to look for a GM soon. Six of us, one a Gunslinger... if you're interested in a prebuilt group of friends ;)

Heh, you can check out the recruitment thread here, if you'd like! I don't want to clutter up this thread with outside stuff (it feels rude to me; I probably shouldn't have brought it up here!).
Anywway, check it out if you'd like! I'm only running one game, at the moment, though. :)
Rhys, I would warn about Raventhorn for your recruitment thread. He almost destroyed another game I'm in until the GM kicked him out. I would not want to play with him again.

Was this by any chance the whole "system of treasure distribution" issue?

That was the proverbial straw, but the problems started long before that.
I remember looking through your threads when your DM was looking for replacements, it certainly seemed like there was some element of antagonism in their approach. I certainly would avoid playing with them given the way that played out.
Thanks for the heads up. Knowledge of this sort is very helpful. I appreciate that you've got my back, as it were.
On the Jade Regent front: I'd like to point out that Namuril hasn't told Bazza that we'd let her go if she helped us; just that we'd let her live. *smiles innocently*
If Úlf and Runa end up finding the chieftain before the rest of the group talks Bazza into leading them to him, a fight might end up being less than avoidable.

Zaladrel is working in the same wheelhouse; he doesn't want to kill the remaining goblins if they are just desperate but he is operating under the presumption that the chief will need to be dealt with one way or another *and* that the fire will basically destroy this tribe.

Once again, I have returned! I've looked over the post while I was gone. Wellard, how much damage total did cinder take? Its hp are converted into temp. hp for Lissa, and when they're all gone, he is dismissed.

Welcome back, Lissa!
I'll be going on vacation starting Oct 1. I'll be traveling to Japan for about two weeks. I am taking my laptop and will try to keep up, but I may be too busy or worn out to post everyday.

Sorry about lack of posts yesterday..I was at a funeral 150 miles from home.
WEll I dunno...that seems...like a completely legitimate reason. (My condolences by the way)
On a more "upbeat" note I wonder DM Wellard I think the OCC isn't "tied" to the rest of the campaign (I don't see it through the new fangled campaign interface) would you be willing to check that?
Logically speaking, the goblins know we're probably there because of the recent goings-on related to the fireworks. They should also know that if they flee and leave their stock of fireworks behind, which they have obviously done because they're unarmed as they flee, we'd be happy to cut off the head of the snake and be on our merry, to quote Mal Reynolds. They probably figure it's a lot better to find some new stomping grounds, appoint a new chief, and go back to terrorizing locals the old-fashioned way than to...y'know...die.
Well Bazza for all her desire to save her own skin doesn't see any reason why you shouldn't remove the chief..after all he's been a failure as a chief and hasn't protected his people properly.
Though why the camp should have come under what seems like a raid by Skeletons is still a mystery.
It's funny, when I ran my first campaign, I thought the wizard was silly for using all his magic too quickly... now I'm wondering if this day will ever end! :D
I hope we don't meet undead before we get to sleep... but if we do, I suppose my staff will have to do :)
Is the chief visible from outside? or do we have to enter to see him?
I'm already in one...but thanks for the invite anyway
Wanted to ask you. Would you be interested in running a Kingmaker game? I have enjoyed your style so far, and I have a group of friends that is totally knew to PbP, but wants to play Kingmaker in this format. There are 7 of us, so I imagine it would involve some tweaking to make it challenging. If you are interested, let me know, otherwise, I'll look for another :)

Good thing too. I was trying when I chose Lissa's spells to choose ones she would use realistically. As she's never been in a real combat situation before, I didn't think it logical from an RP perspective to give her any outright damage spells. Now I can remedy that. =)
In case you wondered,I'm not counting Xp I'll level you guys when the story requires it.
And yes Tavlor 2nd level sucks for a Sorcerer...I play two off them in different games here.. a Human elemental bloodline and a Halfling gold dragon bloodline(who is going Dragon Disciple when he can do that)

All leveled up... man summoners get suck for spell lists. And no really useful upgrades for cinder yet other than the basic BAB, saves, hp increase. AC upgrade was nice though...
