Loot List

Checking your scroll, since those are not limited the same way:

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Rhyna is not sure what the other two spells on the scroll are (she'll have to wait until tomorrow to try again or prep read magic), but the first spell is definitely calm animals. She can't cast it, though.

Trying to one-up me Jeb? I see how it is.
Here's a loot spreadsheet we can use and keep track of group resources on. More tabs for other things if we need them.

Linked the loot list in the campaign header.

Need to confirm whether the Trading Company or Iteb's house is the next stop.

Maybe we could have Lysander make a perception check before we leave? I hate the feeling that we're missing something.

Male Ifrit Paladin (Virtuous Bravo) 6

Your wish is my command.

Link seems broken for some reason. It worked yesterday... queer.

Try this one.

Ohhh~ there's a break in the link if you just copy and paste it. Wasn't aware paizo did that. Could you fix that for your own pasting it into the header?

Fixed loot sheet, i promise this time.
Guess it works if i url it.

The ballad of Bunko and the battleaxe.

We should've brought a bard.

81 XP each for the fight.

Looting the bodies recovers three more sets of the Legion's standard kit: longsword, longbow and 20 arrows, light steel shield, studded leather armor. One of the victims' bodies in the trading yard also bears some worthwile, if unusual and potentially significant, loot: a wrist sheath loaded with a masterwork dagger, a potion, and what looks like a vial of some kind of poison. (A Craft: alchemy roll can potentially ID the poison.)

Also, though it might seem distasteful, the slaughtered animals in the animal pen can potentially be butchered for some additional Provision Points - it would take about 5 minutes per animal, although you have enough followers that you can have them work on each of the three kills simultaneously if you choose.

Added a spot to indicate the last change to the sheet, that way we don't accidentally double up if, for example, someone doesn't know it was updated to include the rewards already.

Also, we're out of initiative right? Didn't seem conclusive in the gameplay tab, but is assumed to be so here based on the exp granted.

No, init is still going, partly because Gareth is still fighting an elemental in the smithy, but mostly because there is still a timer on the Trading Post.

Liberty's Edge

Female Orc Fighter - HP 9/20 | AC 16 (to12)(ff14) | F +6 R +3 W +2 | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Per +0 DV

Added +5 to my strength check instead of +4. Wasn't thinking, and for some reason was acting as though it was bull strength buff. Roll should be 1 lower, though i doubt it'll work this time around given the result you got for me last time.
Also didn't add the +4 bonus you're giving as well. Didn't know that was a thing and forgot about it when i was writing up my post.

The stock you can recover from the Trading Post before the fire consumes it includes a longsword, two battleaxes, an alchemical silver rapier, a masterwork light steel shield, a masterwork backpack, a climber’s kit, eight waterskins, and 12 Provision Points.

Liberty's Edge

Female Orc Fighter - HP 9/20 | AC 16 (to12)(ff14) | F +6 R +3 W +2 | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Per +0 DV

I'll go ahead and hold onto the climber's kit, but not much else. Added it to the lootsheet.

80 XP each for convincing the half-elf siblings to join you, by the way.

120 XP for the hobs in Iteb's house. Iteb, you recover all the starting gear you didn't already have, plus three sets of the Ironfang legion's "standard kit" and 1d6 ⇒ 5 Provision Points.

Also, I appear not to have given you any XP for the elemental in the smithy, so that's another 80 XP each.

Liberty's Edge

Female Orc Fighter - HP 9/20 | AC 16 (to12)(ff14) | F +6 R +3 W +2 | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Per +0 DV

I've added and adjusted the group loot sheet to include both.

You get an additional 8 PP from the slaughtered animals in the pen.

120 XP each for the wolf fight, plus 4 Provision Points and 25 gp.

Jeb, what are your parents' names? They're going to be 1st level commoners, at least to start with, but is there a Craft or Profession they practice?

They're Sanna and Gerard

They're farmers, so proffession(farming). Gerard has craft(leather), while Sanna has craft(tayloring or weaving or something like that.) If any of them have more than 2 skill ranks there's a point in Handle Animal also.

AC/T/FF/CMD/FFCMD 15/10/15/15/15, HP (26/26)[0temp], Fort +7 Ref +0 Will +1 [+3 vs spells & SLA, +2 vs poison], Initiative +0 [+2 Dodge vs Goblinoids, +4 Dodge vs Giants]

Hmm. I had thought to take Jeb in the direction of a dedicated hobgoblin slayer, with Dedicated Adversary and Dwarven Hatred Style, the whole thing.

Now that she's managed to bring her parents, I might take her in a more general direction instead.

By the way, I note that we've 5 medium sized warriors and two nonhostile aristocrats hanging on - could we fit them with gear from the dead hobgoblins? Or are they too cowed to fight at present?

In other news, we've just made halfway to level 2. That's not half bad.

You can indeed pass out your equipment to your followers if you like. Though you still have to make a Diplomacy check to get them to attack, a la me asking Bunko for the archers.

To everyone else: Any reason we would actually stop by Wee Patterson's shop? Seems like many other a building we've passed so far, and with an indication of intrusion already, with (little to gain?) vs. the time to gain it, I can't imagine stopping there myself.

AC/T/FF/CMD/FFCMD 15/10/15/15/15, HP (26/26)[0temp], Fort +7 Ref +0 Will +1 [+3 vs spells & SLA, +2 vs poison], Initiative +0 [+2 Dodge vs Goblinoids, +4 Dodge vs Giants]

I'd be down for passing it by too.

Liberty's Edge

Human (Minkai) Samurai (sword saint) 7 (Order of the Warrior)

It's mentioned here for two in-character reasons, basically: the first is that it is right next to Bunko's house, so you have to go past it to get to his place, and the second is that it was one of the four places in town Aubrin listed as probably accumulating survivors and/or useful items.

There are other, meta reasons why I mentioned it, but the choice of whether to pass it by or not is indeed up to you guys.

Male Ifrit Paladin (Virtuous Bravo) 6

It's an Alchemist's shop, I believe. Could be some useful supplies therein. With our dearth of magic, some extra potions, wands, etc could come in very handy.

Sincerely I am all up to check it as well. If we make it quick, it can give us quite a good edge - and if people could be hiding there, all the extra reason.

Human (Minkai) Samurai (sword saint) 7 (Order of the Warrior)

Sounds like Bunko's the tiebreaker...

The others have convinced me to change my 'vote'. Let's check out the store.

My main inquiry was if there was something more to it. Otherwise it'd feel like meta-gaming because it's a named location, or else why not stop by every single door on our quest to get out of the city soon as we can xD
If there's a reason to go in, I'm not against the detour.

80 XP each for the alchemist.

Loot from the alchemist includes three potions (two of one type and one of another), three flasks of alchemist’s fire, a flask of antitoxin, a healer’s kit, 5 pints of oil, two smokesticks, two tanglefoot bags, two thunderstones, leather armor, three daggers, a heavy mace, a hooded lantern, three Provision Points and 16 gp.

Disarming the trap is worth 40 (!) XP each.

Gathering up the notes and equipment for the stump remover is worth another 120 XP each.

Gareth, with Iteb's assistance, is able to scoop up 200gp worth of alchemical components - they can, in the hands of a skilled alchemist, be converted into up to 600gp worth of alchemical items, using the usual Craft rules, or (when the opportunity provides itself), sold for the 200gp raw.

Either we find an Alchemist NPC, someone gets in the crafting business... Or we just keep on going with the Fighter Powah

You might want to peek into Lysander's stat block.

Lysander is excellent at craft: alchemy. He's also really good at perception.

Oh yes! Mutation Warrior :)

Liberty's Edge

Female Orc Fighter - HP 9/20 | AC 16 (to12)(ff14) | F +6 R +3 W +2 | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Per +0 DV

He'll need to go through those potions for us when there's time later . to identify the lot.
Using perception has always seemed odd to me.

Male Ifrit Paladin (Virtuous Bravo) 6

lol truth be told, with none of the Mutation Warrior stuff coming online until L3, I'd forgotten I know these things. Mea culpa.

AC/T/FF/CMD/FFCMD 15/10/15/15/15, HP (26/26)[0temp], Fort +7 Ref +0 Will +1 [+3 vs spells & SLA, +2 vs poison], Initiative +0 [+2 Dodge vs Goblinoids, +4 Dodge vs Giants]

So... We didn't end up brewing any stump remover? That seems a little silly.

Jeb Gardaxe wrote:

I am assuming someone grabbed the ingredients, since you asked about them.

Oh. Sure! Is it something that you can put together on the spot, or do we need to stop and mix it before we head for the bridge?

Liberty's Edge

Human (Minkai) Samurai (sword saint) 7 (Order of the Warrior)

It's something you don't want to mix until you're ready to use it, because mixing the ingredients is itself basically lighting the fuse.

Liberty's Edge

Female Orc Fighter - HP 9/20 | AC 16 (to12)(ff14) | F +6 R +3 W +2 | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Per +0 DV

Plus we have a portable alchemist's lab as well, so if it was necessary to do some preparations we could try to do so on the spot. And by we, i mean Lysander.

Liberty's Edge

I keep forgetting that shrine morale bonus to attack roles. Just thought about it now randomly.

Liberty's Edge

Human (Minkai) Samurai (sword saint) 7 (Order of the Warrior)

You guys get 80 XP for the recruits, plus 1d6 ⇒ 1 Provision Points from the house. The two hobs each have the usual longsword, longbow, etc., of Ironfang warriors, but one of them is also wearing a shining tin ring with a splashing dolphins motif, which seems rather out of character for the Ironfang's culture.

AC/T/FF/CMD/FFCMD 15/10/15/15/15, HP (26/26)[0temp], Fort +7 Ref +0 Will +1 [+3 vs spells & SLA, +2 vs poison], Initiative +0 [+2 Dodge vs Goblinoids, +4 Dodge vs Giants]

Bunko or Gareth got anything to add, or should we just charge?

Liberty's Edge

Female Orc Fighter - HP 9/20 | AC 16 (to12)(ff14) | F +6 R +3 W +2 | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Per +0 DV

Though, with the wolf going before me, I'm sure it'll be the one to charge first. And with a hit like that, I like being a 5-foot step away from the wall, and cover xD.

Male Ifrit Paladin (Virtuous Bravo) 6

I don't mean to be dense, I'm just confused as to how this is supposed to work, exactly. Spending full-round actions poring over notes and doing chemistry sounds like a bad idea when there's active combat going on. And am I just putting it all in one place? For some reason I was thinking I had to place multiple 'charges' at different points.
