Calling him a crow or saying he eats carrion will get him riled up. Calling attention to his long nose will really set him off, but if you want to really get under his skin, throw some mud or dirt on him and call him a corbie. He is fascinated by the things, but he hates how filthy they are. Good thing too, otherwise this place would be a dump.

Once everyone's ready for the ambush, Zaiobe heads outside, leaving the door open. The seconds wear on into minutes that feel like hours as you wait for Kikonu and Zaiobe to return.

Zaiobe walks into the barn with Kikonu behind her, but it appears that his eyes and ears are far keener than any of you could have wished. He hesitates for a moment, looking surprised before grinning evilly and disappearing.

Only to reappear right next to Soliana.

"Hello again, my pet," he purrs, "shall we dance?"

Jerukh and Soliana are up! Stalls are closed, but can be opened with a move action.

"Leave her be! Come try and take my words you long nosed voice-stealer!"

He then pushed open the stalls door (Move Action)

Kikonu snarls as Jerukh calls attention to his nose.

"Oh very clever for an overgrown goblin. Did Zaiobe teach you that," he spits out while Zaiobe casts a spell with her arms moving with wild abandon.

Zaiobe casts Entropic Shield on herself.

"Oh Zaiobe, I knew you were up to something. You never did learn how to act, did you," he teases, his mood switching from furious to amused as he steps back out of Soliana's clumsy swing and disappears once more.

We're not out of combat. Everyone's up. What do you do?

Soli reaches down and grabs up a handful of sawdust and/or loose dirt from the floor and flings it around in an arc, trying to coat the vile monster if she can.

"You're not running away this time! Come out and face us properly instead of hiding like a scaredy-cat!"

what should I do... my hiding spot is amazing, there's no way he saw me... does he remember how many of us there are? it won't matter, he'll obviously remember me either way... he'll probably assume I'm hiding like everyone else was, but he won't know which stall... I'll stay hidden for now and see if he makes the mistake of coming in here...

As Randal opens the door, the faint stench of Troglodyte musk wafts into the stable.

"Oh do come out and play! My subjects are just thrilled to kill you," Kikonu says.

Zaiobe steps out of the stable and then leaps into the air to take wing.

Oooooh no. This is bad. he brought out everybody!

The monsters are delaying. Everyone's up. The plain tokens are ogrekin.

Although she can't see what's happening outside, Zaiobe's words are enough to convince Soli that they might be in trouble if they don't act fast. She moves out of her hiding spot in the stall and towards the southern door of the stables.

"Everyone?? That's not good...can we block the doors!?" Soli calls as she moves.

Then the Bard begins a story about an old man who smelled so bad, a whole village drove him off.

Vigny, on the other hand, follows Zaiobe outside to take a look. When she sees the gathered opponents out in the courtyard she grins and calls back to her friends inside.

"No need to turtle up in there, there's a very nice chokepoint right here. We'll thin out the crowd as they come, then then go hunting for the ones that try to take off."

She calls out to the Lucky Drunk and raises her sword as it takes on a golden glow. Activate Minor Holy Strike

Hopefully a good look at the map will convince everyone Vigny's spot offers cover equal to the stable but in a more compact defensive zone, support from Zaiobe, and greater options if things go badly :)

marked the grease with a circle on the map. It’ll only effect one of them right now but many of the rest will have to either wait their turn going around or risk moving through it

You barely have time to prepare for the coming assault. Kikonu shouts for the dire corbies and the ogrekin to use the other door to pin you in the stables as Zaiobe sends an arrow slicing into his arm. One of the troglodytes dies screaming as flame and shrapnel tear the life from him. Soli finds her self facing four opponents after one of the corbies opens the doors and the two other birdmen lash at her with wicked talons. Three of the troglodytes take aim at Emiliana, opening a gash on her arm and putting another more serious wound in her belly with their clumsily thrown javelins. A fourth slips as he tries to move closer and the last charges Jerukh along with one of the ogrekin, both of them landing blows.

Kikonu, though, proves to be the trickiest of them. He disappears again, appearing above and behind Zaiobe who dives under the chain swinging for her.

"Kill them!" Kikonu screams in rage.

Okay, Everyone's up.
Soli, you get an attack of opportunity vs. the Red or Blue corbie or the Red ogrekin (Who you recognize as Mutildah)
