P5. Destroyed Museum (CR 5)
This room was once some sort of museum, but its contents have
been smashed and scattered across the room—even the shelves
have been shattered and torn apart in places. The decapitated
bodies of two knights, their armor and bodies broken and
mangled, lie in the ruins.
Inside are two Abrikandilus Demons, throwing papers around and destroying as much as they can.

Initiative Round 1
Azrael, Iko
Red, Blue
Don, Lynn, Tink
This door opens into a hall way, there is a door straight a head and a door to the left. Both again are the same solid wooden door and both are closed.
Tink_ |
Perc Blue: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
Perc SteelGate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Perc Tink: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Treating the destruction as the sounds of combat, the DC to hear is -10, a closed door adds 5, and a wall is +10/ft of thickness.
As we approach the door all three of Blue, Tink and SteelGate hear the commotion. Effective dc -5
Tink puts his hand on Lynn's as she moves to open the door.
"There is commotion on the far side of the door." He whispers
Azrael* |
I moved folks according to where I think they should be when we opened the East door. Please readjust if I got it wrong.
Azrael moves in and fires a single cold iron arrow at the closer (blue) demon.
+1 Composite Longbow: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 1 = 161d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 = 10
Azrael* |
Hmm. I thoght the door was opened...Lynn stated she opened it.
Lynn Warhaven |
As Tink opens the door Lynn charges in and stabs the first one of the creatures in the way.
Stab: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 161d10 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 3 = 8
This game is slow enough without such delays. Go get them.
Iko_ |
Iko moves in the room silent and swift and strikes out with Radiance in a straight lunge to skewer the demon.
Using Combat Expertise. Iko is now AC19
Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 6 - 2 = 16
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
DM Raltus |
Azral's arrow flies just off the mark of the Demon, Lynn charges in again missing as the floor is cluttered debris, Iko dashes in but the two dead bodies that everyone can not see prevent Iko from landing a blow.
The farthest demon Red Moves up and bites Lynn with its hideous mouth.
Morning Breath: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 241d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
The other Demon looks at Iko's shiny sword and Bites then claws Iko.
Bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 141d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 251d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 181d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
DC 15 Fort save or -1 cha via bite attack

Don, Lynn, Tink <--
Lynn Warhaven |
Fort Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
"Oh no! My beauty! Shelyn will make you pay!" Lynn cries out and stabs the ugly abomination.
Stab: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 281d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Confirm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 232d10 + 14 ⇒ (2, 9) + 14 = 25
DM Raltus |
Is steelgate power attacking? That is a lot of dmg. did you add the -2 to hit not that it matters at all. Well you would miss the confirm if you didn't.
Lynn's beauty fades a bit as an ugly scar crosses her face, her retaliation hits home hard. SteelGate moves around Lynn and attacks a different Demon, his Metal body slamming hard in to the demon, the blows are telling but the skin of the Demon takes away some of the Force.
There is a Morning star mashed into one of the bodies of the fallen Crusaders on the floor. The metal you can see is a black/grey
Initiative Round 2
Azrael, Iko <--
SteelGate, Red(-30), Blue (-42)
Don, Lynn, Tink
Azrael* |
Azrael, ignoring cover from his party and the normal penalty for firing into combat, fires two arrows at the most wounded of the demons.
+1 Composite Longbow: 1d20 + 10 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 10 + 1 - 2 = 171d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
+1 Composite Longbow: 1d20 + 10 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 10 + 1 - 2 = 151d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 = 10
Point-Blank Shot, + Rapid Shot
Iko_ |
Iko seeing his friends unleash hell upon these demons and looking at his own bleeding wound retaliates with renewed vigor. Channeling his training born of centuries his new magical blade flashes out once, twice, three times at his opponent.
Spending a Ki point for the extra flurry. Ki 1/4

DM Raltus |
Azrael's arrows just miss their mark, maybe the wanton destruction of this room or the overall impending doom feeling Azrael's archery is just off today. Iko Misses the demon with the first blow, slipping on some of the destruction on the floor. The next two blows are telling and drop the Demon, blue blood pulses out of the lifeless body. The other Demon shrieks loudly, biting at Lynns face and slashing her glaive with it's destructive hands.
Bite, DC 15 Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 191d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Sunder Glaive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 211d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Sunder Glaive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Initiative Round 2
Azrael, Iko
SteelGate, Red(-30),
Don, Lynn, Tink
I will allow SteelGate to attack first, If he misses or doesn't kill it, it is 25 HP left Lynn and her Gliave take those attacks.
DM Raltus |
Lynn's final blow drops the demon in a pile of blue blood and a stench. The room is a mess, what might have once been a collection of Previous Crusades history is nothing but a ruined mess now.
There is a +1 Adamantine Morning start buried deep in the chest cavity of one of the fallen Crusaders.
The two bodies on the floor are most likely some Crusaders who attempted to take the Garrison back by themselves.
Azrael* |
Good to smash obstructions and constructs though. You should take it Don.
Looking over the party Azrael offers Some of you are hurt. I can help with closing your wounds.
Channel Positive Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9
Azrael* |
We should take these bodies back when we leave. Azrael will move them to be ready for when the group departs.
Iko_ |
"Thank you for the healing Azrael." Iko says with a short bow.
"You are not as... hardened as some of the others who I travel with. It is... refreshing. My thanks."
DM Raltus |
There are trace amounts of magical energy on the crusaders destroyed gear, there would be enough for Tink to use to repair Lynn's glaive.
Lets say they did some damage but there is enough stuff if Tink spends 10 minutes here un interrupted he could fix things.
The Door to the east is locked tight
The Door to the north is not locked.
