And now for something completely different.
"... Who will take command of the army?"
Now you can invite any of the NPCs from the first book to come as well if you want, Irabeth, Aniva, Horgus and Aravashnial.
I was thinking about discussing this hre before, but decided this is boring. If you're opposed to Lynn taking command, then please oppose that in game.
As for who to take along - Arashnival is a wizard, right? What level? As tink is not doing battle it might be helpful to take him along. Besides that I'd thing everyone else would cut into someones role.
Locks are covered by Azrael. If Don changes to extreme crossbowing it might be also helpful to take Irabeth as meatshield along. But that would step on Steelgates toes I guess.

Can I just check the maths?
If I only succeed at the first check our base is 1000gp a day, Tink doubles that to 2k because of crafting mastery, and then Blue doubles again to 4k?
If I crit succeed at the craft check I get a base of 2k, which doubles through crafting mastery to 4k, which blue doubles to 8k
Am I understanding you correctly? This would make sense to me, I understand blue gets all your feats and Craft skills and I know this is a magical world I just want you to explain how he helps. It will make no difference over all I just want to see what you picture in your head.
@ Lynn Aravashnial is 6th level no Mystic Open the tab to see his stats
Aravashnial: Aravashnial only agrees to accompany the
PCs if his blindness is cured—fortunately, if the PCs ask
Queen Galfrey, she arranges for a scroll of regeneration that
can be used to restore the elven wizard’s sight. In this
case, Aravashnial is so grateful to regain his sight that he
falls into the role of supporting the PCs and the Knights
of Kenabres with great zeal—his advice on how to handle
enemy spellcasters grants the army Spellbreaker as a
bonus tactic, increasing the army’s DV by 4 against armies
with the spellcasting ability.
DM Raltus |
Irabeth Tirabade: Irabeth only accompanies the PCs if
her wife Anevia does as well. If she travels with the PCs, she
fights alongside her wife. She can command the army—if
she does so, she grants the Bloodied but Unbroken boon to
the army (Ultimate Campaign 240).
Anevia Tirabade: Anevia only accompanies the PCs if
Irabeth does as well. If she travels with the PCs, she fights
alongside her wife. She scouts a short distance ahead of the
army, and before any battle begins, she gives reports that
allows the PCs’ army to always gain battlefield advantage,
increasing its OM and DC by 2.
Horgus Gwerm: Horgus has little to add to the tactics of
battle, but many of his resources have survived Kenabres’s
fall intact. If he accompanies the party, his support reduces
the army’s Consumption score by 2.
Tink_ |
"Blue, please get me the blue thread." Tink says across the workshop.
The bird sitting in the rafters glides down to the rack and carries the spool to Tink, depositing it in his hand before flying back up to the rafters."Thread this for me will you?" Tink asks holding up a needle.
Blue dilligently performs the tasks Tink asks of him, helping out by providing items and assisting with holding things in place.

Is there any follow up with the alchemist? I think there are provisions in this AP to convert people?
Azrael* |
@ Azrael, if you want to talk to him or the Witch from before (For Lynn) I am good with that. Just make a move in game.
I did.
Azrael helps with the bodies as reverently as the task can be done. When that is complete he takes charge of his prisoner, removing the gag but keeping his hands bound loosely. He treats the tiefling as well as he can under the circumstances. We must talk of your loyalties and your future. he says as the group walks back.

Devotion Point Awards
Iomedae takes note of the PCs as they work their way through
the Gray Garrison. Ancient laws and edicts beyond mortal
comprehension prevent her, or any of the deities, from taking
a direct hand in mortal affairs, even when those affairs are
being threatened by a demigod like Deskari, but neither will
the Inheritor sit idly by without providing a small boon to
those PCs who took time out to honor her fallen garrison.
After the wardstone is destroyed, the next time the PCs
rest, they have a singular, shared dream in which a scarred
but beautiful woman dressed in plate armor visits them
and thanks them for their kindness and service before
apologizing for the fact that she cannot help them in the
future. Yet she can grant them a token of her gratitude, and
kisses each dreaming PC on the brow.
When the PCs waken, their Devotion Points are gone—
in their place they gain additional rewards, depending
on how many points they accumulated overall. Note that
these rewards are cumulative; earning 10 or more points
grants all four of the following permanent boons.
1–4 Devotion Points: Each PC gains a permanent +2
bonus to a skill of her choice.
5–7 Devotion Points: Each PC gains 5 permanent hit points.
8–9 Devotion Points: Each PC gains a bonus feat of
his choice (the PC must qualify as normal for the feat’s
prerequisites).
10 or more Devotion Points: Each PC gains a +2 increase
to an ability score of her choice.
Give yourself the 10 points ability. You did everything that was asked of you.

Wow. Merry Christmas to me. :) Those are some nice bonuses and are quite welcome to my feat starved archer build. :)
Azrael* |
I am gonna take +2 to my perception skill as that will help find traps for the group. The stat bump has to go to Dexterity for Azrael as that helps his AC, to hit bonus, and a number of important skills. For the feat I am considering.
Clustered Shot is nice but if I smite I bypass DR anyway.
Many Shot adds another arrow's damage when I full attack. Seems good.
Ranged Disarm and Ranged Trip sound fun but require a full round action.
Weapon Focuses is good as its a +1 to hit all the time and its required for other feats like Snap Shot.
I think I'll go weapon focus. It will help me hit more often which I think is most important. And I do want Snap Shot down the road. Thoughts?
Azrael* |
You may be confusing Snap Shot (which allows you to take AOOs with your bow that don't provoke) with Point Blank Master (which makes your bow shots never provoke AOOs). Point Blank Master requires Weapon Specialization (fighter 4 only) or the Ranger's bow combat style. I don't think there is a path to ever get that feat as a strait pally.

Some testing of the Mass combat rules
I have thread where I test things, the bottom 3 posts are done for the army vs the first army. I can do the rolls and such for the Mass combat behind spoilers if you don't want to roll them.
Azrael* |
Azrael grants everyone Precise Shot for free buy I see you already have it Don. If you do not need it for another feat as a prereq perhaps you could train out of it in the future.
Azrael* |
If you need a face to help let me know.

Bandolier of loading:
This item can automatically load any bolts placed into it into a repeating crossbow. The weapon must still be cranked manually and once the bandolier is out of bolts you must either load in a cartridge or place another Bandolier of loading in the weapon (This is a full round action and Rapid reload cannot lower this time).
Slight conjuration and Transmutation. CL 5th, 2500 gp
Will be buying this, Raltus created it in this thread. Well first we need to sell any loot we got. Time for shopping
