Carefully Nicolae opens the hold.
The smell of death and rot fills this lower deck, even with the cold. It is darker down here without the sunlight filtering through the ice, and no braziers burn. Shadowy movements are visible in the darkness, accompanied by an eerie creaking noise as though someone were still working the oars. A figure moves toward you along the aisle between the rowing benches. It appears to be a withered human wearing an Ulfen burial mask. Spotting the light from above it begins moving quickly towards it with a guttural growl. "My Revenge!"
Ugly is the only one fast enough to act before it can approach.

Nicolae slashes at the thing with both of his blades and then steps back.

The moans of the other undead grow louder as they begin shambling up the stairs...

before the hold is closed Sark throws down a fire vial hoping to start a fire or make them walk over fire as they climb up the stairs.

Whats the working mechanic on door breach, and what can we do to prevent them from coming through.
I'm assuming a couple of you are basically holding it and I'm just giving them a strength roll to push it open. You guys seem to be ready, I'm just waiting for George at this point, so you probably won't have to do anything else since you plan on opening it anyway.

Alexaander takes down the first walking corpse as it reaches through the hatch. Sark, Vanyel, Nicolae, and Ugly drop a gallon of Alchemist fire down the stairs and set a few others on fire.
One reaches through the fire and touches Nicolae's leg, but his freezing touch does not penetrate his magical resistance to cold.
I'll assume George drops another bomb, which will take out the rest.
When the smoke eventually clears, the remains of a half-dozen bodies lie sprawled at the bottom of the steps.
