Sigias' entanglement snares one mite and the centipede, then Reavis' bomb blasts most of them off their feet.
One mite remains uninjured, but held in the roots and fungus animated by Sigias' spell. The other is so injured that it is begging for mercy.
I'm declaring this Combat Over. Jeez.
Yuseff |
Yuseff will quietly start moving down the tunnel trying to stay as hidden as possible looking and listening for anyone or anything else.

Continuing along the tunnel to the east, you begin to hear the faint sounds of combat and a familiar woman’s voice half-shouting and half-reciting, “As the legendary Gregaro Voth successfully battled the wild beasts in the deepest reaches of the Mwangi Expanse, so shall I defeat you, foul servant of Lamashtu!”
It sounds like Janira Gavix still lives, though she is obviously not quite safe from danger!
Quickening your pace her voice slowly grows stronger. There must be another exit from the caves ahead. But the way is not unattended... What at first seemed to be a carpet of fungi and mushrooms suddenly stirs to life, surging forward at Yuseff with a reek of decay. By dumb luck it somehow misses him.

Molos Voren |
Molos follows the example of Sigias and bravely retreats to the back of the party, putting distance and the remainder of the group between him self and the strange creature he didn't recognize.
DM Rah |
Sigias protects himself with a feat of magic as Molos and Yuseff protect themselves with quick feet.
MacDowell readies an attack.
Reavis fires his bow, putting an arrow straight through the mold. Unfortunately, it has no internal organs and so the damage seems less than one would hope. Immune to critical hits.
Istralanix hurls a vial which fizzles and burns away part of the creature, but doesn't stop its approach.
As it reaches the intersection MacDowell tries to pummel it with his mace, but can't get the angle right.

Molos says a few words, and suddenly a tiny ball of snow appears in his left hand. He throws it at the mold.

DM Rah |
The mold is beaten, shot, burnt, and frozen and into harmless gooey chunks.
COMBAT OVER
In the distance, the sounds of Janira in combat can still be heard. Rushing toward it, you soon burst from the caves and back into the world outside. To a normal humanoid, the light of the surface world above would likely be a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, but to your group it's just a little annoying.
Nearby is a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy. Nearly 100 feet from the cave’s entrance, Janira Gavix is locked in combat with her relentless minotaur foe in a clearing on the southern bank of the stream. She has sustained several serious wounds, but continues to shout in difiance, “You vile beast! I know not what drives your black heart, but I shall not fail in my duty. I shall see you driven from this forest, back to the hills from whence you came!”

"I told you guys we should have killed that minotaur." Reavis says with indignation as he drinks his mutagen and begins to grow bulkier and more beast-like. He then proceeds towards to the ledge for a better view of the battlefield.

“Aha, hello my friends!" Janira shouts upon seeing your group coming to the rescue. "Remember Selmius Foster’s race against a marid and efreeti on the isle of Jalmeray, which taught us that nothing is truly impossible and every situation can end in victory!”
She steps away from the Minotaur and lashes out with her whip. It wraps the handle of the monster's axe for a second, but the large creature quickly pulls its weapon free. It then steps after her, swinging left and right, but Janira scrambles out of the way of the blade just in time.

"Lure him closer, so that we might assist you."
DM Rah |
"Good plan!" Janira calls to Molos. Running around the Minotaur, the halfing bravely leaves herself open to attack, but manages to dive aside when the monster swings its axe.
She then seems to be taunting it in its native tongue.

DM, I'll probably be out for a bit tomorrow with work. Molos will try to Evil Eye the Minotaur and cackle to keep it going so long as it is in range. Ill start out with trying to bring down his AC, then his attack rolls in the following round.
DM Rah |
Molos, ok. Thanks for the head's up.
The minotaur follows Janira, swinging its axe again and again, but failing to land a blow on the nimble Pathfinder.
“Remember the sacrifice of the fabled Yasmin bint Faroud, favored of the Ten, who gave her life distracting Zythrustianax, draconic scourge of the Society, so dozens of junior agents could survive. Her act of benevolence is the epitome of cooperation within the Society.” Janira tosses a glance over her shoulder. "I'd prefer my story not echo hers, if you know what I mean!"
