Did you guys see these new codes?

monospace and hex...

Sadly, no. I see those codes as exactly what they are. Not sure these boards are able to handle those.

I really can't believe brothers wand idea worked.Brothers wand idea?!
I see how it is. If anyone needs me, I'll just be over here grinding my teeth and holding grudges. ;)

Lol, I stand corrected, credit definitely due. I thought that was brilliant; but gotta admit the sentence was written in third-Catson omniscient, easy to think it meant someone else.

It was actually Cat's idea. I can't claim any credit. I was damn certain the incense would have been the key, but it was not very effective to actually understand what the hell happened.
But that is a good GM plot work.

Speaking of GCP I am now on 43. Making my way there.
That's 43% closer to Razzmatazz.
Edit: Also, too, and by the way, I read the book The Magicians by Lev Grossman but was less than impressed with it.
Had a fever the last few days and so started watching the series on Netflixxx...and I gotta say that it's pretty damn good. Much better than I thought it would be. If the ending of the first episode doesn't get you...well, then, maybe the series isn't for you, but it's fun and well done.

Weirdly appropro
Coldplay - Yellow
Look at the Stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
Yeah they were all "Yellow"
I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called "Yellow"
So then I took my turn
Oh what a thing to have done
And it was all "Yellow"
Your skin
Oh yeah, your skin and bones...

Nice posts Mariner. The Stranger than Fiction video and these song lyrics are dead on!
@GM RAH, the incense of shared thoughts is still active. It’s up to you, but I actually think that the spoilers might not be spoilers. This is a telepathic communication right?
We probably pick up the memories from the other PC’s . Also, I bet that we actually DO have some idea of what is happening to Lady Trillis. If she’s coughing up blood, stuff is going through her mind and unless she’s really deceptive, we should be able to pick up her surface thoughts. At the least, we should be able to sense motive on whether she is ready to escape or attack us.
On the flip side, I don’t think Cats gets an unexpected sneak attack either. BB isn’t going to stop him. I have to declare that I am close to attacking her too.

Re: Coldplay Yellow
Indeed. The Sign is everywhere...

@Butterfly: the incense does not actually let you detect thoughts, It allows you to send and receive willing communication and makes it easier to tell if that communication is genuine. Trilliss was telling half-truths and possibly omitting things. Whatever the truth is, Cats seems to have made a choice that forces the issue.

Sounds great GM. I originally pictured it being a bit more powerful- like a shared consciousness -or hive mind - since it was moderate magic and 9th level caster stuff. Glad for the clarification. Let the story play on! Cats has put some thumping into Trilliss.

Anyone have any reference material on a boat called The Starling?
I recall hearing it before, and this future bad-guy just mentioned Starling. When I did a Thread search--- I got zero results... even though the word is clearly listed twice on the current page. Crazy search functions....

I've got a small time window this summer and planning to run The Segang Expedition (tier 1-2; five players) on Gameday, Session I on 8/13
Then if schedule allow, Reaping What We Sow (tier 4-5; five players) during Session II on 10/1
Wanted to open it up to you guys first, if any one wants a seat let me know.

Playing actually, but didn't want to get too long into something like an AP. A GM is running Midnight Mirror.
"Fearless" |
Yes it can. This is pulled from the PFS Guide.
You can apply credit from a higher-tier adventure to a 1st-level Roleplaying Guild character. When doing so, reduce the gp reward to 500 gp if the adventure grants 1 XP or 1,398 gp if it grants 3 XP. You do not benefit from any boons until your Roleplaying Guild character reaches the minimum level listed on the Chronicle sheet, unless otherwise noted.

Good save Fearless! That sure was important!
Remember guys that Mariner crafted and put a lay of garlic around your necks for this exact monster. Hopefully Mariner doesn't take that bad boy off anytime soon.
Lastly, you ARE in a bell tower. A bell makes noise. lots of noise. Kind of like an alarm. Kinda.

Nice Post GM. You had a tough time refereeing the results, and you did a great job of integrating some other rules into this. Nice!
I wouldn't have thought of all your solutions.
