This group is moving slower in this module. Is the pace ok for everyone or should I push things along a little quicker?
If you want to go quicker I'll need a little more feedback from everyone, and if/and options in situations where a contingency action might be needed.
Gnome Summoner (First Worlder) 9
Ha ha, no; what I meant was I pick people I know are in my timezone and have similar schedules to me, which makes everything super convenient. No complaints here, since things can often get too fast in any pbp.

I'm good personally. I have no fear of this game dying and that's all I worry about with slow posting.

Right now I'm more focused on pushing the pace on Godsmouth Heresy, and work has also been kind of hectic (which reminds me; I have a few things to finish today that I should get back to). After the weekend I should be back to posting more often.

Eh, much like everyone else, work is whooping me right now. I know my posting has slowed a bit, unfortunately. The pace is fine as far as I'm concerned.

Does anyone have any thornkeep-specific boons to use this game?
That's a good question Barlor. Most of the Thornkeep specific boons are awarded from the 1st level dungeon (which this group never did together).
However, in the 2nd level you picked up the arcanolembic, which everyone may use freely as a consumable while adventuring in Thornkeep.
Arcanolembic
Aura moderate transmutation; CL 10th
Slot none; Price 2,000 gp; Weight 2 lbs.
DESCRIPTION
This glass flask looks similar to the alembics used by alchemists to distill various liquids, but this one is framed in a delicate silver brace and the glass is etched with various arcane runes. The arcanolembic can be used to hold one potion. When a creature consumes a potion from the arcanolembic, the potion is treated as if its caster level were 2 higher than the usual minimum for a potion of its level. Placing a potion into the arcanolembic is a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity.
CONSTRUCTION
Requirements Brew Potion, Craft Wondrous Item, 5 ranks in Craft (alchemy); Cost 1,000 gp
I'm about ready to start another PbP. Since you guys are already in one of my games I'm giving you a chance to help me decide. The first one that fills up will be the first one I run, though I might run two if there is a lot of interest.
There is a sign-up sheet over at Maximo's Hideaway, but here are the options:
Scenario #4: The Frozen Fingers of Midnight [Levels 1-5]
Scenario #35 The Voice in the Void [Levels 1-7]
Scenario #43: The Pallid Plague [Levels 1-7]
Scenario #3-01 The Frostfur Captives [Levels 1-5]
Scenario #4–13: Fortress of the Nail [Levels 5-9]
Scenario #3-10: The Immortal Conundrum [Levels 5-9]
Most of you played through "The Disappeared" when I ran it a while back. Who has not yet played #4-13 "Fortress of the Nail"? It's basically the follow up and I'm wondering if you might be interested in taking the same characters through it.

I've not played it, and I was in your "disappeared" with the very same.

I have not played Fortress of the Nail and would love to do so. I was in someone's else's Disappeared game, iirc. That was actually Pai's first scenario!

I was not fortunate to be in your Disappeared game, but I would be happy to play in Fortress of the Nail.
Actually Pai, you played in my Disappeared game back when I was still using Kobash as my primary Alias.
The group was: Pai, Peri, Barlor, László, Haris, and Beckett. :)
Maddie, Beckett's been doing his own thing lately, and only jumped into the Disappeared to fill a seat, so there should be room for you.

Awesome, DM! That sounds right.

Fortress of the Nail: Ran it twice, never played. I'd have to pick a character I might not miss if I do play it, though I do trust Rah enough to follow tactics and not automurder someone in the last fight (and that is why I haven't played it yet.)

Lol, by the time we gain a couple more levels, we can have a flock of like 13 mites running around and causing chaos!

Fun Fact: In my dialogue to Maddie in the recent post, I actually forgot her name ooc after starting to type up the post and decided against going back a page and scrolling up to see it (since I felt it's a good representation of Turg's -1 Wis and generally abrasive demeanor.)

Oh that's right. From top to bottom? Er, I guess it's a spire, so, bottom to top?
And, perhaps the real question, is Rah going to play in one of them?
Male Varisian Human Rogue/2 Urban Ranger/4 HP: 30/30* |AC 22 T 16 FF 18| Fort +8/Ref +13/Will +3| Init +5| Perc +10| SM +10
It's an inverted spire, so top to bottom. Mine ended up full before Rah signed up; haven't seen anything from Tek yet (though he's playing in mine).
I'd like to play Emerald Spire, but I think I have too many games active at the moment.

How close are we to being done with this one? There isn't a lot of the map left to look at, unless there's another sublevel we're missing.
You are about 3/4 of way through. Some of the encounters you've had take up more time than usual, so I think this will go faster now.

I realized I haven't been deducting size modifiers from my attacks. I suppose I forgot since enlarge person calls them out explicitly, but beast shape does not. I'll have to fix that in future posts.

Are we planning on going back in after Daegros once everyone is healed up? I have an ulterior motive for asking, as I'm going to be at Flatcon this coming Saturday and have tentatively committed to playing László in "The Stranger Within."

I say we wrap it up. Daegros doesn't seem overly evil to Pai. Pai thinks the arrangement could be productive for the Society,
