Just check on the bag of holding stuff. Bolts might not want to be stored in the bag. I am not on my computer right now, but I will check on the GP. We can do what we want with it, I suppose. We might have some more stuff to hold coming up. And I can always serve as a but of a pack mule too.

And just so you know I may not be on much through the weekend. Last week the two boys (8 and 11) of a friend of mine were hit by a car. Today the 11 year old (who had been in a coma since) passed away. So it is going to be a tough week and I am not sure what we will be called on to do.

He is injured and still in the hospital, but should make a full recovery.

Hey guys sorry that ive been MIA for so long. Weve been going through a lot of family stuff over here. Ive been trying to keep up for the most part with reading the gameplay. I was camping too. It was 72 yesterday. 36 today and snowing.
This mid west weather is crazy I was rocking shorts and flipflops yesterday.
So I'm sorry that I have been done for so long. It's been a really rough few weeks but as Etam said checking in periodically did help me escape every once in a while. I was sorry that I missed the interaction with the elf reading the book. Finnrick may have to pay him a visit sometime before leaving the city.
Went out of state for a long weekend for the holiday, and did not have reliable internet.But I am back now.

I have not decided to get it. Is it any good? How much overlap with what we already have?
I think the overlap is not that big (core rulebook, beginner's box), but it seems to be mostly relevant if you are interested in GMing. Also, the AP is very much around ancient super advanced technology, which may or may not rock your boat (I'm somewhat skeptical, but still interested in how they structure and balance the thing).
Also, you get all scenarios from season 5. They seem nice, but keep in mind that if you want to run them in organised play it uses the old factions. Seems simple enough to convert it though.
I didn't realize the season 5 things thanks. Also I would recommend getting the Iron God's Player Companion off of this Website first and reading through it to see if Iron God's would be something that you are interested in. At least that's what I did and it helped me make an informed decision. I think I am going to spend the 15 to get the whole AP and there are are some good books in that group too.

I'll move things along once Finnrick decides if he wants to cast that spell. The next thing will be basically night phase, so those of you who don't need to worry about transcription should think about how you want to handle helping the rest (aiding is faster but riskier, doing it yourself takes longer and then probably involves getting it past the guard's attention). If you like, you can also try to speed up your own transcription by adding 5 to the DC.

@DM: When you say helping is riskier, do you just mean there is a risk of failing the check or is there any other kind risk? Jaed would be happy to help the others. He could also be passing the papers around between those proficient in transcription and those in need of help using his sleight of hand ability.
By "riskier" I just mean that if Artair rolls a 2 on his check, even with 3 people aiding, that's not enough to beat the DC, so you've effectively wasted the hour while if you do it for him, it takes longer but you'll definitely have a completed transcription done at the end of it. Though I suppose you still have getting it past the guard, so I guess the risk is just in a different place.

I'm not in any rush, but just to be clear, I'm waiting for someone to decide to do something (AKA, actually go talk to the guards if that's your plan) before moving things along. Just wanted to state what I'm thinking in case people are waiting for me to update something, which obviously leads to a large cycle of nothing.
Ok so I know you're never supposed to split the party but I thinkbwe should split the party. Finnrick was able to get rid of the guards but now we are stuck being the guards and if anyone comes by and there are no guards there we could be found out. I think that we need to get some of our gear and get past this door. But i guess that idea hinges on what Jaed remembers. Or we could completely abandon the guard post and all of us go searching the other rooms for a way to get passed it.
Agree. Jaed and someone else can go try open the door(s). If successful, they can go get back the rest of the group.
